Is software that already exists or a few lines of code could accomplish this? Looking for a web form filler (keyboard entry and mouse click the web buttons) but with a numerical increase by a few digits. Basically, looking for a macro to submit equity orders on the web.

I need to track clicks on a button at the end of a sequence of selections. As shown in the image, there are five different business plans (circled in red), and each plan can be for three different years (highlighted in blue). The user will checkbox a business plan type (e.g., market trend) and click a year (e.g., 2017), then click the PDF button (highlighted in black) to download that particular plan (market trend for 2017 in this case).
So instead of counting the total clicks of PDF downloads, the task is to count how many times a particular plan is downloaded based on the plan type and year.
The PDF button, the checkbox for each plan type, and the click button for each year all can be tracked individually. They are also all on the same URL.
GTM and GA are used for tracking. Can anyone share some thoughts of how to achieve this type of tracking?

If you are using google tag manager you can use dataLayer.push() to push to an array which can be used to differentiate the clicks based on the interaction.

In your particular case you could have the dataLayer configured to add the different key / values for the different report components and then the trigger will be configured to fire when the download button is clicked.
For example on each of the check boxes you could have:

You'd probably better having an array to store this info.
The resultant data can be viewed or aggregated via a custom report download. Described here.
Custom Dimensions and Metrics
It can be a bit tricky to understand and you'll need to change the site so that the dataLayer gets populated with the requisite data but this is the way to go. Best of luck.

In the email message or item you're creating, on the Format Text tab, in the Editing group, choose Find.
In the Find what box, type the text that you want to search for.
Choose Reading Highlight > Highlight All.
Note: To turn off highlighting on the screen, choose Reading Highlight > Clear Highlighting.

Im trying to implement application wide copy and paste short cuts. (ctrl+C) etc.
The application consists of forms drawn in tab pages, and there are quite alot of forms. Ideally im after something (in the keypress of the main form) that would just see if the active control is a text box and If so pastes or copies text. Doing so on every text box on every form is unfeasible.
Another approach i guess would be to override the text box control application wide?
There must be an easy way to do this surely.

Ok; turns out there was a simple problem preventing this from working.
The EDIT menu in the menu bar on the main parent form was 'consuming' these keyboard short cuts.
Deleting this menu fixed the issue instantly.
I am currently developing custom macros for recording interviews.
These macros are placed on the interview minutes.
The macros have the standard picture of recording/play/pause. But I would like to be able to distinguish when the record is active or inactive by looking at the macro buttons.
Do you know if it is possible to have a pushbutton with two differents photos:
one when it is pushed
another one when it is not activated
OR If it is possible to modify the colors of the pushbutton when its status changes.
you can add you custom task/events to the office UI ribbon. I've mentioned a link where the use can manipulate/change the icons when a function/task is in execution.

Am writing a VB.Net app written in VS2010. This displays some reports in several forms. (Am using Crystal Reports though this is incidental to the problem). The user needs to be able to check these, then confirm if he wishes to run the update process or abort.
My first idea was to ask the user to reply using a messagebox. But of course this is modal, so the user cannot browse through the reports.
I thought of other options but each seems to have problems:
- export the reports as PDFs, then display report in external Adobe Reader Window using System.Diagnostics.Process.Start("AcroRd32.exe", filename). This seems messy.
- create a non-modal message box or equivalent. This loses any concept of program flow, so am unconvinced by this
What ideas do you have please?
You should already be using a form to display the report(s). Put all the reports on the same form with scroll bars enabled and add a button to that form for the user to 'Update Process'.
You may come up with a better display based on how many reports you want the user to look at - like a drop down at the top with list of reports in it OR a radio button list on the left with reports listed etc.
