Determine the list separator of the system - vba

I am new to Access & VBA, so please excuse me if my question is silly. However, I was wondering if there is a way to check/display (maybe even with MsgBox) what is the default list separator on the computer that the access file has been opened? Thank you in advance!

How to save an object after exit

So I'm currently working with VB.net and winforms and I need the have objects created from my classes saved so they are still there if I exit the program and open it again.
I also needed to make them dynamically so I was going to add them to a dictionary on creation and save that dictionary in the settings, but it seems that you can't save a dictionary in settings.
So how can I do this? Maybe something like save the creations in an excel sheet and recreate them on load each time, that might work but seems a tad inefficient, Thanks in advance, Ed.
(p.s. sorry if this makes no sense it's 1:30am in the morning here and I'm not really with it.)
So just putting this here in case anybody else has this problem, I took Plutonix's advice and looked into serialization and it sorted my problem, used this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oN_YHn3EVOs

How do I read an ":" Parameter of a String until it hits a NUL

(Not sure if I'm on the right part of the website, so sorry if I ain't, and feel free to close the thread then, but at least redirect me to the right site)
The title might be a little confusing, but here's what I am trying to accomplish:
I am trying to make an Tool which generates "GUI-Mapping" Files for a game called Star Wolves 3, it works well when in Manual-Edit-Mode but I am also trying to make an Automatic mode, where the program scans one of the Game's 3D-Mesh files (.IMD) and searches for a string like this "Turret:1", it does not necessarily has to be a number, a string could also be behind the ":".
Now what I want is, to basically Read everything behind the ":" until it hits a NUL, here's what I mean by that by showing you a picture of a generic .IMD file and the ":" Parameter of the String "Turret"
Picture.
I'm pretty bad at .NET and could really take a hint or two to solve this problem. I have honestly no actual Idea on what Code I need write to get whats behind the ":" and stop reading the text until it hits the NUL, sample code might also be very helpful.
Any help is appreciated!
.. although there is a non-opensource tool by someone else which can read these "Parameters" flawlessly called "IMD Editor_v3", the developer "tech" vanished and there's no way for me to contact that developer and/or ask for help.

VB Code Equivalent of Batch Code "SET"?

I am making a program that launches an external application, while setting the normally-set Roaming to one of my own folders.
Here is the code in BAT:
set APPDATA=data
To which 'data' is the name of the folder.
However, is there an equivalent of the 'set' code for VB?
Thanks in advance!
Ps. I am new to stackoverflow, so I apologize if I did anything wrong with my questions.

However, Ron De Bruin, has a great article on this, http://www.rondebruin.nl/win/s3/win026.htm

Multiple Layer-In-Folder Editing

So basically i have 10 copies of the same folder in 10 other seperate folders, and i want to edit the contents of the folders all at once.
All i want to do is move 2 layers to a different location for every single folder i have. How would i go about doing this?
Would anyone recommend batch or anything? and if so, it would be cool if someone could help and tell me how to do the required process too. Thank you.
Edit:
So for some reason my question is not going through so im going to assume i need more text or something so please dont read this as this is just random text im adding for no reason. im sorry.
if all the images and colors are same in the folders
then change one folder and duplicate in 10 times
as per your question i not fully understand
you have to provide some more information
:)
Use Smart Objects next time.
Now:
Convert folder in to Smart Object and dublicate in necessary location.
Edit Smart Object contents.
