Tibco Spotfire, Tibco Analyst/ TDV connectivity to Azure Data Lake - azure-data-lake

Tibco spotfire is good for dashboards, but can't see any Azure data-source adapters in TDV, Anyway to seamless connect Azure with Spotfire for realtime dashboards, perhaps without synapse !?

You can ref this tutorial: Visualize Azure Data Lake Storage Data in TIBCO Spotfire through ADO.NET:
This article walks you through using the CData ADO.NET Provider for
Azure Data Lake Storage in TIBCO Spotfire. You will establish a
connection and create a simple dashboard.
It shows the example and may can give some guides.

How does Data from Synapse SQL DW gets transferred to Power BI?

I am importing data from SQL DW to Power Bi using SQL server authentication credentials.
I read in this Microsoft Doc that VNets can be used as Data gateways for various Power BI Data sources. Can this be applied here? Transfer of data from Synapse SQL DW to Power BI service will always happen through public internet or can it happen through VNets also?
I am new with these services, so my question could be silly!
Yes you can connect through public internet as well as from private vnet(data gateway).
Virtual network data gateways allows import or direct query datasets to connect to data services within an Azure VNet without the need of an on-premises data gateway.
as per the doc you are following VNet data gateways will support connectivity to the following Azure data services:
1.Azure SQL
2.Azure Synapse Analytics
3.Azure Data Explorer (Kusto)
4.Azure Table Storage
5.Azure Blob Storage
6.Azure HDInsight (Spark)
7.Azure Data Lake (Gen2)
8.Cosmos DB
Note:The The virtual network (VNet) data gateway is still in preview. and Virtual network data gateways is a premium-only feature, and will be available only in Power BI Premium workspaces and Premium Per User (PPU) for public preview. However, licensing requirements might change when VNet data gateways become generally available.

Azure Synapse Notebook Pull Data from Onprem?

I'm trying to find documentation on this, but I don't see a definitive answer. Is it possible to have a Synapse Notebook in Azure to connect directly to an On-Prem SQL Server to pull data into a dataframe using JDBC connections maybe? Perhaps some other method?
I spoke with a guy from Microsoft who works on the Synapse team, and he confirmed that as of right now, it's not possible to directly connect to your on-prem data sources directly through Synapse notebooks.
He suggested that the best way right now, is to bring your data into a Data Lake for example using pipelines, and then do your Synapse processing.

How to push the data from Azure Data Lake to SSAS ( Azure analysis Service) ? Is it possible?

Azure data lake is my data source. I want to push data from azure data lake to Azure Analysis Service (SSAS). How i can do that?
I think it is not supported. In following documentation of Azure Analysis Services, Azure Data Lake is not listed in Data Source providers list:
https://opbuildstorageprod.blob.core.windows.net/output-pdf-files/en-us/Azure.azure-documents/live/analysis-services.pdf
This is supported.
You need to use a compatibility level of 1400. I have the latest Azure Data Lake plugin for VS2015. You would need to add Data Lake Store as a data source.
There is a good series of blogs here which give you insight of building azure analysis service on top of BLOB storage. The same principle can be applied to data lake store as well:
Part 01 :

Part 03 :

Update
This blog goes in details how to do this. the basic premise is the same as the blob storage backed SSAS process. They however introduced a data lake store connector.

How to move sharepoint list or excel file to azure sql dw?

I want to copy data from sharepoint to microsoft azure sql DW using azure datafactory or alternative service. Can I do this. Please anyone help me with this.
You can do this by setting up a data pipeline using Azure Data Factory to Azure blob storage. Afterwards you can use Azure's fast PolyBase technology to load the data from blob to your SQL Data Warehouse instance.
Can I ask how much data you intend on loading into the DW? Azure Data Warehouse is intended for use with at least terabyte level data up to petabyte compute and storage. I only ask because each SharePoint list or Excel file has a maximum of 2GB per file.

Is it possible to export data from MS Azure SQL directly Into the Azure Table Storage?

Is there any direct way within the Azure MSSQL ecosystem to export SQL returned data set into the Azure table storage?
Something like BCP but with the Table Storage connection string on the -Output end?
There is a service named Azure Data Factory which can directly copy data from Azure SQL Database to Azure Table Storage, even between other supported data stores, please see the section Supported data stores of the article "Data movement and the Copy Activity: migrating data to the cloud and between cloud stores" to know, but it is for Web, not like BCP command tool.
You can refer to the tutorial Build your first Azure data factory using Azure Portal/Data Factory Editor to know how to use it.
And as references, you can refer to the articles Move data to and from Azure SQL Database using Azure Data Factory & Move data to and from Azure Table using Azure Data Factory to know how it works.
