npm install Angular-cli not working on CentOS7 without Internet - npm

How to install Angular CLI on CentOS7 vm?
The machine doesn't have an internet connection.
I can download the required files to a Windows machine and transfer those files to the CentOS7 virtual machine using winscp.
Please any advises how can I proceed?
I installed nodeJS as well. Please see the Error Messages below while trying:
npm install -g #angular/cli#ll

IOT Edge V2 - Deploying and Debugging Python on the Edge Device

I've been following the tutorial at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/iot-edge/tutorial-python-module
On my development machine, the python lint in Visual Studio Code is reporting the error: E0401:Unable to import 'iothub_client' on main.py.
I wonder if I'm missing a pre-requisite step, or is this just an advisory that can be ignored on the development side of things and it should be ok once deployed - or do I need to fix this error on the development machine first?
I've successfully run the previous tutorial and have tempSensor running. filterSensor seems to terminate and go into a "backoff" state once deployed, with an error of 1. I don't know how I can find out on the Edge-side why it is failing - how do I go about debugging this? Can I see print statement output anywhere, for example?
I'm developing on Mac, and deploying to a Beaglebone running Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.
For the Python lint issue, yes you are right that this information is just advisory. The cause for it showing up is that you did not install Azure IoT Python SDK which is a pip package on your development machine. You can safely ignore it because the SDK will be installed when building the module image (there is a RUN pip install -r requirements.txt step in the Dockerfile).
If you want to resolve this lint information, you can install the SDK on your development machine manually by running pip install -r requirements.txt in the root folder of the module.

Reinstall rhn-client-tools with non working yum

For every yum command it will return SSL certificate error
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, rhnplugin, security
The SSL certificate failed verification.
My SSL cert if valid.
I checked rhel site for https://access.redhat.com/solutions/93313 but the problem is i cannot reinstall rhn-client-tools since yum is actually not working and for some other reasons i cannot boot it from DVD/image.
Any tips on this?
Before trying to reinstall, have you also checked your firewall settings and the time and date setting on your server ?
If the firewall is not the issue, I would suggest a simpler approach, just by going to RH's site and downloading the appropriate rhn-client-tools RPM package, copying it to your server and installing it.
"What about the possible dependencies?" I foresee you asking...
Use a different server (or VM) with the same OS version that has access to the internet.
use yum with the download only plugin to only download all the needed dependencies (you must have the yum-plugin-downloadonly package installed beforehand) in a local directory like so:
yum install --downloadonly --downloaddir=<directory> <package>
Copy the packages downloaded at step #2 to your affected machine and install them using the rpm utility as so: rpm -ivh /path/to/yum/download/dir/*

Ubuntu Appcelerator - Cannot install node on platforms other than windows or mac

Appc is successfully setup via terminal. Each prerequisite installed but on Studio launch Appcelerator cannot find/recognize installed node and tries to install node again and prompts "cannot install node on platforms other than windows or mac".
Since I am using the latest version of Titanium so it requires the latest Node.js (nodejs, node and npm). Appcelerator tries to install node because it does not find any compatible version.
Secondly Appcelerator tries to install all pending prerequisites and it cannot install node on platforms other than windows or mac so you have to install nodejs via terminal.
To debug issues try to run programs via terminal. Particular to Appcelerator in Ubuntu, go the directory and run it by command $ ./AppceleratorStudio
It will prompt all ERRORS, WARNINGS and NOTICES.

installing rocket chat on freebsd

I am trying to install rocket chat on freebsd 10.
I tried installing using docker (https://github.com/RocketChat/Rocket.Chat/wiki/Deploy-with-Docker) and I was able install docker but not docker-compose.
Installing it without docker (https://github.com/RocketChat/Rocket.Chat/wiki/Deploy-Rocket.Chat-without-docker), I get stuck with nave. That is, after
npm install nave -g
and executing
nave usemain 0.5.3
i get this response
nave: Command not found.
Basically I just need Rocket Chat server working on freebsd. Any help will be appreciated

How to install apxs on xampp

I have a site I'm running off an Apache server, and I want to run a python script using the server and the web browser. I'm using xampp, and I have researched that I have to use modwsgi, and I have downloaded the zip and unpacked it onto my desktop. Now using command prompt I run
setup.py install
The first time I did this, I didn't have setup tools installed for python (I have python 2.7.8 and I'm on Windows 7 64 bit), so I went ahead and downloaded that, but now when I run the command again I get the following message
RuntimeError: The 'apxs' command appears to not to be installed or is not exectuable.
Please check the list of prerequistes in the documentation for the package and install
any missing Apache httpd server packages.
How exactly do I install apxs because I don't have Apache but xampp?
I was installing apxs on XAMPP in Windows. I wrote a blog post with the complete solution (in Spanish). I basically compiled my own version of apxs. The steps were:
Install ActiveState Perl for Windows
Add C:\xampp\apache\bin to the environment variable Path
Download apxs from here
Unzip tar.gz file in C:\xampp\apache\bin.
Execute:
ppm install dmake
cd c:\xampp\apache\bin\apxs
perl Configure.pl --with-apache2=C:\xampp\apache
--with-apache-prog=httpd.exe
