I am not a 100% sure if this topic is "off-topic" but I couldn't find a more suitable stackexchange for my question.
I am working with the Maximo API and use the IBM docs regularly to help me program. 2 days ago I could still reach the docs such as:
This gave me a overview of the classes, fields, methods etc.
Today I tried reaching the following docs:
But the following message shows up:
Now, I can't possibly believe they have deleted all docs so I assume they might have moved them but I just cannot find them. I tried the search function on the IBM website but no results show up.
Does anyone know where they could have moved them?
PS: If this is off-topic for stackoverflow, could a moderator move the topic to a more appropiate exchange? Thanks in advance.
The Maximo api or JavaDocs can be accessed and searched using tools such as Dash (for iOS / MacOS) and Velocity (for MS Windows).
You can also download a copy from IBM for use locally from IBM Maximo JavaDocs
Hopefully once IBM finishes updating its website the JavaDocs will be available there again for reference online.
I have just published the Maximo 7.6 JavaDocs on my blog so they are easily accessible and searched from Google.

I'm trying to automate a workflow using Google Data Studio. Requirements are simple - I need to be able to programatically copy a templated report (from a Python/Java application) and import/set a data source (Google Sheets doc) for that report. Nothing more fancy (no visualisation creation, formatting, or anything graphical, etc.).
Sources here, here and here (last two require Google Cloud Console account) suggest an API does exist (and detail a setup process to access it). However, after going through this setup process, I can find no details or documentation of any functionality, and consequently have been unable to progress.
Can anyone authoritatively state whether:
1. There does exist any API functionality for GDS? and
2. If not, are there plans to develop such? (since the Google links above suggest there is, I'm wondering if this means it's in the pipeline for near future).
The only directly related SO posts I can find are here and here. The first suggests there isn't, but doesn't account for the Google links I've provided above which suggest there is; the second doesn't really cover the same use case, so doesn't provide answers applicable here.
FYI - I've posted a Google Community forum post here asking essentially the same question.
If anyone is able to help out, that would be greatly appreciated :) Many thanks in advance for your time and help! :)

There does exist any API functionality for GDS?
Not in the way you are expecting. The three links you posted all refer to the current Data Studio API. The only things you can do with that API is view your Data Studio assets and update permissions. That's it. This API won't let you create/copy/modify reports or data sources.
If not, are there plans to develop such?
Not in the near future. You can make/vote for this feature request in the official tracker. More popular feature requests are usually prioritized in roadmaps.
That being said, a lot of the API use cases can be resolved using combinations of Community Connectors, config parameters, direct linking, viewer's credentials, Linking/Integration API etc.
Recently Google plus is pending for shutdown, which also shutdown some Google Plus API including this one https://www.googleapis.com/plus/v1/people/me which our service is actively using.
That above API was used in one of our legacy login library, which I can't even find the source for it. Hence I am now trying to patch it myself.
Reading the migrate guide from Google, it doens't tell much in terms of how to change the url.
Referencing some open source library like 1, 2. I have come up with the fix of replacing the url https://www.googleapis.com/plus/v1/people/me with https://www.googleapis.com/oauth2/v3/userinfo, which works but oauth2/v3/userinfo lacks documentation, so I am pretty worry that oauth2/v3/userinfo is not intended to be used like the above.
So my question is:
Is my solution: change https://www.googleapis.com/plus/v1/people/me with https://www.googleapis.com/oauth2/v3/userinfo an intended migration, if not then how can I migrate out of Google Plus API?
Any documentation on https://www.googleapis.com/oauth2/v3/userinfo? The closest I can find is this, which seems more like an brief intro then a documentation.
The "/oauth2/v3/userinfo" call will not be deprecated on March 7th, 2019 as it is not part of the Google + API.
If you look at the Google Developers Console, those calls are not registered as part of the Google + API.
From Google email:
If you are directly requesting the “plus.me” scope, any other Google+
OAuth scopes, or making any Google+ API calls, please ensure that you
remove these requests from your project before March 7, 2019.
Since nobody answer, I think I will give out the best info I can gather...
For 1. Supported by multiple open source project. Pac4j, hybridauth. It seems like the method of change https://www.googleapis.com/plus/v1/people/me with https://www.googleapis.com/oauth2/v3/userinfo is the best you can do to fix this issue.
For 2. Still no detail documentation for that
Is there anywhere i can get like a tutorial to watch and build out a full dashboard or different charts? I have already watched a few tutorials but still didn't get the hang of it. Or is there anywhere i can download a demo dashboard or report to set up on my side?
What about the official http://www.pentaho.com/service/custom-dashboards.
And if you need something specific about CDE, browse the web site of the author http://www.webdetails.pt/. Or send them a mail, Perdo Alves will answer you with pleasure.
I just started developing an Intuit App yesterday and was really getting going on integrating with QuickBooks Desktop. Then today I logged in to continue work and was greeted by several missing pages on Intuit's IPP site and a link that says "Deprecated QBO V2 and QBD V2,V3". The only API that appears to not be deprecated is QBO V3.
I cannot find any announcement from Intuit about any upcoming deprecation. Does anybody have any info on whether I am safe to continue developing my app to connect to QBD or do I need to talk to our accountant to move over to QBO instead?
EDIT: I have marked Jarred's answer as the accepted answer because he associated with Intuit and answers my specific situation. Also check Charlie's answer for additional details specific to other scenarios.
I interviewed several people from Intuit at the Sleeter Accounting Solutions Conference this week, including (amongst others) Dan Wernikoff, Senior VP.
I'll have an article in my blog on this (http://www.sleeter.com/blog/) next week - I'm transcribing my recordings and clarifying points.
There are a LOT of points here, but to address what you are looking at -
If you are writing an IPP app using V3 for QBO - no problem (and in fact, some good news there).
If you are already published with IPP using V3 and Sync Manager for the Desktop, you will get continued support but don't expect any advancement there (unless you are someone big like American Express).
If you are NOT already published with IPP for the Desktop - the SDK is your option.
And there is a lot more info about this coming out
MINOR EDIT AT A LATER DATE: If you have been working with IPP for the desktop you MIGHT get approved to continue - no guarantees on that (but it seems they might be lenient). But In my opinion you can't expect any significant new features (as in, more data access) moving forward unless you are a significant partner with a contract with them (such as, American Express).
Intuit will not prevent you from going live with your application that you have spent the last 6 months working on. We have a set of guidelines for grandfathering in developers who have invested in using the v2 REST API for QuickBooks Desktop.
feel free to contact me directly if you have more questions.
#Charlie if you could correct your statement regarding if you are NOT published then you need to use the QBXML SDK. That is too generic, we will evaluate each developer on a case by case basis.
regards,
Jarred
My writeup on this subject is available at http://www.sleeter.com/blog/2013/11/quickbooks-software-integration/
Note that Dan Wernikoff, Senior VP at Intuit, has been leaving comments in several of my articles in the blog.
Blair, you have a reasonable concern. However, given the REASONS that they made this change, I would SPECULATE that Intuit won't be pulling the SDK. What isn't clear, at this time, is HOW MUCH support they will give the SDK moving forward.
And, as we have seen for several years now, things can change...
I'm writing a location base client and would love to integrate Panoramio with my client, now the problem is that I can't find a way to interact with the Panoramio using a ~REST-like service.
I know they do have an API but it's mostly for embedding the content into a website and not as to interact thru me code (at least from documentation)
Have any of you hacked a way thru this?
I am writing the clients natively for android and iphone in case you are wondering.
cheers,
G.
well it seems like the answer came a bit fast... and although this is easily accessible thru their website it is discussed in their forum and even google has posted about it in their geo developer blog
a sample request to get images from a bounding box will go along the lines of the following example:
http://www.panoramio.com/map/get_panoramas.php?order=popularity&set=public&from=0&to=10&minx=-124.29382324218749&miny=36.089060460282006&maxx=-119.8773193359375&maxy=38.724090458956965&callback=MyCallback
Update: I have found also the official page to their data api.
hope it helps!
