OneM2M: Notify IN-CSE of the new resources created on MN-CSE - notifications

In oneM2M, all the resources created on MN-CSE node are stored in the database on the node itself. I also want to notify IN-CSE of the new resources that are created on the MN-CSE and save them in the datatbase there. How can I achieve this?
My approach - currently, I am thinking of creating a subscription for each resource with IN-CSE address as the notificationURL. So that as soon as a new child resource is created for a resource, IN-CSE will be notified and IN-CSE will parse the notification and save the information in the database. Is the approach correct?

While you can have an AE running on the IN-CSE that will do the duplication of resources with the method you described (the notification target would be that AE), it would be better to make use of announced resources. This is the specified way to achieve what you want.
To announce a resource you assign the CSE's csi to that resource's at (announceTo) attribute. If the target CSE is reachable then this will automatically announce the resource and all mandatory announced attributes to that target CSE. If you also want other optionally announced attributes to be announced then you need to specify them in the aa (announcedAttribute) attribute. Please also note that attributes marked as "not announced" in the spec cannot be announced across CSEs.
An announced resource is updated automatically by the Hosting CSE of the original resource whenever the original resource changes. The announced resource contains a link to the original resource.

How to detect change in permissions for an Item in OneDrive?

I was trying out the graph APIs and was looking at /delta call, I was not able to use it to identify if a permission for an item had changed?
Is there a smart way to do it?
I am referring to these permissions, I can modify them through SharePoint site or using the ms graph API endpoints. Based on my understanding sharing also involves modifications to them and is just one of the usecase.
With the existing Graph APIs, there is no straight forward way of tracking permission changes(or any other change for that matter). The delta API should tell you that something has changed for an item and that your app needs to sync it. Here are the steps you can try:
Create an item in the drive (document library).
Call delta api and note the value of odata.deltaLink.
Share the item with someone(or remove permissions from the item).
Call delta api again using the deltaLink value you saved earlier.
The response will contain the item whose permissions were modified after the first call to delta api. Unless your app persisted item permissions, and then compared the permissions before and after the item was synced, there is no good answer at this point.

Alfresco permissions depending on whether document is currently part of workflow or not

Out-of-the-box, an Alfresco user can read a document based on:
The document's permissions
The user's role
The user's groups
Whether the user owns the document or not
Maybe some other factors I forgot?
Now, I want to add a new factor: Whether the document is currently part of a workflow.
Alfresco's permissionDefinitions.xml allows me to define permissions based on authorities such as ROLE_LOCK_OWNER etc, but it does not seem to be the right place to add permission conditions.
I guess I will have to write some Java source code, but I am not sure what classes are responsible for this, and whether there is an Alfresco way to customize them?
So, I assume you want to somehow have nodes that are attached to a workflow have different access rights? You need to think about the behavior you want in all of the UIs and protocols you are exposing (e.g. share, WebDAV, CIFS, FTP, etc.).
If you want to set a permission on a node, you can do that via JavaScript as well as Java (See http://docs.alfresco.com/5.2/references/API-JS-setPermission.html and http://docs.alfresco.com/5.2/references/dev-services-permission.html). As was mentioned in one of the comments, you can also get the number of active workflows on a node by referencing the activeWorkflows property in JavaScript (http://docs.alfresco.com/5.2/references/API-JS-ScriptNode.html) or in Java
Depending on the specifics, I might implement this in different ways, but if all you want to do is have the permission change, you could just update it at the beginning and end of your workflow with a simple javascript call. The only thing bad about that is that it doesn't take into consideration the workflow getting canceled. You could also create a policy/behavior on an aspect you attach or even have a rule or job run that updates content based on the activeWorkflows values.

Adding recipient Groups to a CiviCRM Mailing via REST.. how?

I have been able so far to create a new civi Mailing object and populate it, but confusingly I can't see a parameter in that to specify the mail destination group.
For context, I am dealing with Civi using pure REST api from a remote server. I have a solution to getting a custom template onto the server; the new problem is setting a schedule and delivery group, and initiating the send. I am using the python-civicrm library from github as the intermediary on the client.
I presume send happens as a result of setting the schedule -- i.e. I don't need an API call to say 'send mailing'? Is setting 'sheduled date' == 'now' safe or should I set a date of 'now + 1min' or similar?
So that leaves setting the delivery group. We already have groups defined in the DB, and I want to specify the group by name (and preferably be able to verify in advance that a group name is a valid destination, perhaps by doing a group name -> id lookup).
I think there might be a parameter to Mailing create 'groups' which can have keys 'include' and 'exclude'; at least, that's what the web form seems to do. However it's not mentioned in the REST api implementation.
Can anyone offer pointers?

OR create an extension with the api you need. It will be automatically available for REST. If you haven't created an extension yet, i suggest you go to the page http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Create+a+Module+Extension. It's quite straightforward with civix installed.
The table you need to check in the database is civicrm_mailing_group
To confirm, the problem was that (a) I needed to use groups[include]=array(ids) as mentioned by samuelsov, but also (b) I needed to use the json={...} form of request through REST, because the HTTP params syntax doesn't support nested data.

AtTask create/update a custom field through API on project creation created through AtTask's web app

I'm looking to use AtTask's API to update or create a custom field (ie. assign a custom ID apart from AtTask's auto-generated id) whenever a project is created through the web app. But I have not found anything about handling events in the API documentation.
I'm able to retrieve/edit project fields when issuing a request by ID or some other search parameter.
But I'm having trouble finding ways to edit project fields on some event like 'project created'.
One way I can think of is to have my script periodically search for new projects based on project metadata and edit projects that way, but there must be a better solution I probably missed.

It seems 'AtTask event subscriptions' was what I was looking for. At the time of the post below (12/2013), due to scalability issues, AtTask has turned this feature turned off with no ETA on resolving the issue. See here: Does AtTask event subscription work?

You are correct the AtTask API does not currently support events. The easiest thing to do is to just poll the system for updates using the search. You could also monitor an email address for emails that are sent upon project creation. The email will contain the project/task/issue ID that you can use to update events.

Adding licence field to WSO2 API in API manager

I have the need to add a licence field to the APIs published by the API manager.
It does not seems to be any extension point beyond the api.rxt file in the resource folder.
If I modify the file and run the application the carbon app correctly show the added field, but nor the publishe nor the store are able to get the field and there is no way to get it also with REST APIs since it calls a method of a class that (in later versions) outputted fields positionally.
Is it possible to add the field, without running the risk of crashing the API Manager?
Which is the correct way?

This change cannot be done without modifying the code. When an API is created from the Publisher app, it gets stored in the registry. The api.txt you modified, only defines the structure of this stored artifact. It may add a new field to the artifact, but to correctly populate that field, you need to modify several methods in APIProviderHostObject and APIProviderImpl + several Jaggery scripts.
