Although I never set 'auto fetch', My IntelliJ IDE is automatically do fetch.
Here is my Event log.
I want to make this function disabled. How to stop it?
If you have the GitToolBox plugin:
Go to File → Settings → Version Control → GitToolBox → Auto Fetch → Auto Fetch
The problem
I'm trying to change my PyCharm color theme, but when I do, I get an error: Cannot set IntelliJ theme: null.
What I've tried
I've restarted my computer.
I've updated all my plugins.
If I restart PyCharm, I am able to change the color theme without encountering the error. So it seems like some change-of-state while I'm using the program is causing the error.
I have a following problem with Less. I have configured Less file watcher to work with PhpStorm and so far everything is working. Now I have added a few plugins clean-css and autoprefix and suddenly everything stops working.
The error I get:
SyntaxError: Cannot find module '/usr/local/lib/node_modules/less-plugin-autoprefix/lib/clean-css-processor' in /usr/local/lib/node_modules/less-plugin-clean-css/lib/index.js on line 1, column 29:
My parameters are:
$FileName$ ../../css/$FileNameWithoutExtension$.css --no-color $FileNameWithoutExtension$ --clean-css --autoprefix="last 5 versions"
clean-css plugin and autoprefixs are only working alone. If I add them together I get the error. Any ideas?
I've got Intellij 15.0.5 and I cannot get rid of this error
object index is not a member of package views.
I've created a new play project in Intellij and also using the activator command
activator new PlayTestProject
But I keep getting the above error. I've read all the other similar question on SO but none of them helped and I've tried the following
Right click the project -> Add framework support -> select "Play 2"
Result: I didn't see any change to my project. When I hit OK, the window disappears but if I try the same the second time. Nothing happens and the window is still there!
Preferences -> Languages & Frameworks -> Play2 -> select "Use Play 2 compiler for this project"
Result: I get this error
Error:Module 'client' production: java.lang.NullPointerException
I've tried
invalidate cache & restart
sbt clean
checkout a fresh new project
But I keep getting the same error in Intellij.
Running sbt compile on command line runs the build successful. But Intellij keeps shows me the above error.
How do I fix this ?
Alright if anyone is running into the same problem. The fix was to mark the following two directories as Sources Roots in Intellij.
/target/twirl/main
/target/routes
Steps:
Right click the target folder -> Mark directory as -> Cancel exclusion (If you don't see Cancel exclusion do the next step.
Right click the target/scala-2.11/twirl/main folder -> Mark directory as -> Sources Root
Right click the target/scala-2.11/routes folder -> Mark directory as -> Sources Root
Right click the project Open module settings -> Sources -> and remove the above two directories if there are added in the Excluded folder's section.
This fixed my problem.
I found this problem and it appeared to be caused by an incomplete compile within sbt. (I had done "sbt clean ; sbt compile" but then aborted the compile with Ctrl+C because it had a error.)
Intellij worked correctly again after I ran:
sbt clean
After removing the .idea/ folder, I could successfully re-open/import my project, and the errors were gone.
Just remove the #() from top of index.scala.html because there are no parameters.
#()
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
And in Action you have
def index = Action {
Ok(views.html.index())
}
I had a similar error and just had to run npm install to fetch the necessary dependencies. Listing it here in case anyone has the same issue.
Using IntelliJ/WebStorm if I run tsc from a FileWatcher, my compile errors are linked to the files in the editor, such that if I double-click on a compiler error, it opens that file and takes me to the offending line of code.
However if I run Grunt, either via the integrated Grunt console, or via a FileWatcher, the compile errors do not have links and I have to manually open the file and goto the offending line number.
Is there any way to get the compile errors comming from Grunt integrated as links, like the TypeScript FileWatcher's invocation of tsc does?
When running Grunt as a file watcher, you can set up filters to make links clickable. You can use existing filters as example: open your file watcher settings, press Output Filters..., open the filter settings and copy the regular expression specified there. See http://www.jetbrains.com/webstorm/webhelp/add-filter-dialog.html
In Webstorm 8, it is not possible to apply regular expression filters on Grunt console output.
The way to go, as mentioned by lena, is to call Grunt directly via an External tool entry, and set up appropriate regex filters, such as:
For grunt-ts:
$FILE_PATH$\($LINE$,$COLUMN$\):.*
For grunt-tslint:
...$FILE_PATH$\[$LINE$,\s$COLUMN$\]:.*
Also see my comment above regarding a caveat for grunt-tslint in some environments.
I believe the '>>' added by grunt-typescript is throwing it off. Try grunt-ts (disclaimer : one of the authors) which is tested with webstorm https://github.com/grunt-ts/grunt-ts
I noticed in Webstorm 9, the built-in Grunt console was filtering/linking on typescript compile errors with grunt-typescript. I am not sure if this is a recent change or not, but it was linking this for example,
So, I went into grunt-tslint/node_modules/tslint/build/formatters, and copied proseFormatter.js to ./myproseFormatter.js. Then I tweaked it so the tslint output format would match the compile error format, by replacing square brackets with parens, and removing the whitespace between line and column number. Finally, I referenced my custom formatter in my gruntfile tslint config by adding the formatter and formattersDirectory properties:
tslint: {
options: {
configuration: grunt.file.readJSON('tslint.json'),
formatter: 'myprose',
formattersDirectory: './'
},
all: {
src: [ 'app/**/*.ts' ]
}
}
and it worked!
