I'm a beginner TestCafe Studio user.
What on gods earth does this mean? My assertion is failing and can't figure out why.
AssertionError: expected false to be truthy
expected - actual
-false
+undefined
There's an issue where '+true' should be shown instead of '+undefined': Incorrect diff for the expect.contains assertion). It's almost fixed.
Pay attention to the message: 'expected false to be truthy'. This is a standard message that means that 'true' is unexpected and the expected value is 'false'.

While using the code able I'm getting an error message as below and also I'm getting the output table.
input(put(serv_to_DT_KEY,8.),yymmdd8.)
between datepart(D.throughdate)
and datepart(intnx('day',d.throughdate,31))
Error: INPUT function reported 'ERROR: Invalid date value' while processing WHERE clause.
ERROR: Limit set by ERRORS= option reached. Further errors for this INPUT function will not be printed.
Could you please help
It's not a true error, exactly; it's a data error, which SAS will let by. What it's saying is the value in serv_to_DT_KEY is not a valid yymmdd8 for some records. (The rest of the message, about "limit set by ...", is just SAS saying it's only going to tell you about 20 or so individual data errors instead of showing you every single one, so your log isn't hopeless.)
To fix this you have several options:
If there is a data issue [ie, all rows should have a valid date], then fix that.
If it's okay that some rows don't have a valid date (for example, they might have a missing), you can use the ?? modifier in the informat in input to tell it to ignore these.
Like this:
input(put(serv_to_DT_KEY,8.),?yymmdd8.)
between datepart(D.throughdate)
and datepart(intnx('day',d.throughdate,31))
I am using karate for api testing.
i am reading expected value from csv "given '#ignore' in expected value"
And match $.Response.Result[*].extendedInfo contains only "expectedvalue"
assertion failed error:
path: $.Response.Result[*].extendedInfo, actual: [001,112], expected: [#ignore], reason: actual and expected arrays are not the same size - 2:1
i want to ignore entire expected value/assert in once
got my Answer
I want to pass ['#ignore','#ignore'] as expected
I'm facing a new problem with protractor ,
When I try to use this selenium method:
ExpectedConditions.textToBePresentInElement
It is returning false because my element returns this messsage:
Connection Unavailable.
Could not connect to the equipment at this time
This is my expected string:
message : Connection Unavailable.\nCould not connect to equipment at this time
then my method call is:
browser.wait(ExpectedConditions.textToBePresentInElement(element, message), 160000, 'The expected text is not present in the UI');
Maybe somebody can help me with it
Maybe it's not the best approach, but it'll solve your problem. Simply replace your expected messages with ones that have no \n:
browser.wait(ExpectedConditions.textToBePresentInElement(element, message.replaceAll("\\n", " ")),
160000, 'The expected text is not present in the UI');
I'm working on a custom TFS Build workflow based on the code found in two blogs:
http://www.theringworx.com/blog/?p=494
https://lajak.wordpress.com/2011/08/30/tfs2010-retrieve-associated-workitems-to-changesets-tfs-api/
When I implement the VB.Net code within my XAML workflow, I'm currently getting the following errors on build runtime:
The build process failed validation. Details:
Validation Error: The private implementation of activity '1:
DynamicActivity' has the following validation error: Compiler
error(s) encountered processing expression "TFSService".
Value of type
'Microsoft.TeamFoundation.VersionControl.Client.VersionControlServer'
cannot be converted to 'System.Type'.
Validation Error: The private implementation of activity '1:
DynamicActivity' has the following validation error: Compiler
error(s) encountered processing expression "TFS.GetService(Of
VersionControlServer)();".
End of expression expected.
I've traced the error down to this section of code (Simplified from XAML):
TFS=Microsoft.TeamFoundation.Client.TfsTeamProjectCollectionFactory.GetTeamProjectCollectionFactory(New Uri("MyTeamsTFSServer"))
TFSService = TFS.GetService(Of VersionControlServer)()
I've tried changing the type of TFSService from both Microsoft.TeamFoundation.VersionControl.Client.VersionControlServer and System.Type without success.
From what I can tell the error is occurring in the "Of VersionControlServer".
Has anyone ever encountered this? And if so how did you resolve it?
Turns out the issue was the URL I was using, I made a typo when I was entering it in. Yay for descriptive error messages...
I found this while I was checking my authentication using the two methods:
TFS.HasAuthenticated
TFS.Authenticate();
My code blew out when I was running the Authenticate() method.

This is my Arduino code that I am using as a status indicator for me and my roommate. The code as working completely fine until I decided to be able to edit the first line on the display, which is the sainsmart LCD keypad shield. Now, when I verify the code in the arduino IDE, i get the following set of errors:
sketch_jul22b.cpp:15:81: error: expected unqualified-id before '\x593a'
sketch_jul22b.cpp:15:81: error: expected ‘}’ before '\x593a'
sketch_jul22b.cpp:15:81: error: expected ‘,’ or ‘;’ before '\x593a'
sketch_jul22b.cpp:15:88: error: expected declaration before ‘}’ token
I would appreciate it very much if somebody would tell me:
1) what these errors mean.
2) How to resolve them.
Thanks!
corrected code that compiles.

#praks411 was correct, but there were some typo's and need to use lcd.print instead of lcd.write.
I'm not sure exactly which line you have edited but looking at your code it seems to me that the status String must be in double quotes. Also there should be , instead of . after "Awesomeness"
So instead of
String top[] = {'Status:', 'Adam:', 'Oliver:', 'Adam & Oliver:', 'Awesomeness'. 'OBEY:'};
You should have
String top[] = {"Status:", "Adam:", "Oliver:", "Adam & Oliver:", "Awesomeness", "OBEY:"};
