I have a personal website using SoundCloud API to play my favorites tracks in the page.
It was working and i have not done any change or work but now i see that the songs can not be played anymore, i check in the network console and i see two requests, one is returning 302 redirect and the other is returning 404 ( not found ).
404 Not Found
You're asking for something that doesn't exist. Check the URL that you're requesting.
See the image in attached
How can i figure this out? I do not know if it is related to my client id or some other Soundcloud API issues or changes.

Since yesterday i'm seeing growing number of 404 errors on our website. It is very strange because we don't have those pages which are reported as missing. Also we didn't released any code changes on that day.
Google Webmaster tool is reporting those errors, but when I look into the pages which are linking to the missing urls - there is no a such links. Could this be a Google Crawlers issue?
404 URL:

It seems that You have CORS issues doing cross-domain javascript.

I have recently moved from HTTP to HTTPS but I'm getting security warnings because the pictures from ebay API are still transferring over HTTP. Does any API user know of a way to get gallery url or picture url over HTTPS?
I have tried making a call through HTTPS like this https://open.api.ebay.com/xxxxx but obviously it won't work. Is there a parameter option for returning HTTPS link?
A returned data in a successful call from GetSingleItem API is like this:
<GalleryURL>
http://thumbs1.ebaystatic.com/pict/xxxxx.jpg
</GalleryURL>
<PictureURL>
http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/ODUwWDgwMA==/z/xxxx.JPG?set_id=xxxx
</PictureURL>
I have had the same issue, I used galleryURL property of SearchItem object returned by ebay Finding API, but found that even galleryURL provides insecure link to image, the same image available on if I replace http with https.
We have a website that is used to showcase our various products. The website uses MVC4 and subdomains areas.
product1.website.com
product2.website.com
We use the subdomain to determine which area to route the request.
Lately we have been getting http HEAD requests to our site using the IP only. Without the subdomain we can't know which area to send the request.
What should we do?
Send back a 404
Redirect to our most important area/product
Redirect to our company website
why not redirect users to an overview page where they see a short list of the products. In this way you can redirect them behind the screens to whereever you want without hem knowing and this also has the ability to be used when user make typo in the url so that they are 'guided' to the right product and even find other ones.
-a 404 usually makes people seek elsewhere since tey think they have the wrong IP
- redirect to most important product may result in confusion when you change your major product (users tend to bookmark a lot of useless urls)
- redirect to the company website is to my opinion the lesser of all evils, but users tend to get lost when redirected to a 'general' website.
example: you're looking for Windows 8 download and have the IP bookmarked
- 404 error: oh the page no longer exists
- main product: windows 9 is out but for some reason you still need windows 8: you spend more time looking for what you really need and probably find it elsewhere
- overview page: you see what you need in a list and if the list is short you quickly find it, otherwise a simple search reveals the item also.
so redirect to overview page is still a winning shot in my opinion
I've been looking for this answer and the other pages didn't help me.
I'm trying to use the google drive api for php. I am trying to test on my local environment and receive this error.
Error: redirect_uri_mismatch

Here is the page for the api:
The url is in
localhost:8888/Spreadsheets/driver.php
What am I doing wrong?
Looks like the current Google OAuth2 integration requires enabling
Contacts API
Google+ API
from the Google Developers Console for the associated Project. In my log I noticed errors liek 403, Access Not Configured. Please use ....
The redirect URI (where the response is returned to) has to be correct and exactly as you registered in the APIs console, and the error is indicating that you haven't done that or you haven't done it correctly.
To get the redirect URI from console:
Go to the console for your project and look under API Access.
Open Credentials section (in left side)
You should see your client ID & secret there, along with there is a
list of redirect URIs. If you want to change it or it was wrong,
click edit settings and modify.
Even if your redirect uri is properly set in the console, a lot of times, when you've recently changed settings in the google dev console, it will still tell you there's a redirect mismatch. It's a surprisingly common occurrence.
You can try...
Waiting; some have had luck with this, indicating that google takes some amount of time to register recent changes.
If you don't mind reconfiguring your app, creating a new client id in the google dev console tends to fix this problem with consistent results.
I created an app (id:155124624522900 - https://developers.facebook.com/apps/155124624522900)
And it is supposed to work as page server for Business Pages (as a tab)
But I get this code when trying to access from my debug app:
App Temporarily Unavailable The URL
The URL http://foodtreedevfb.herokuapp.com/tab returned a 404 Not Found error.
Still, the url is good! I wonder what is happening.
I am serving from Play Framework on Heroku.
EDIT
it may be related to some trailing slash issue on the uri, still I changed and it didn't help.
Is your app redirecting when Facebook sends the POST request? this can happen if your URLs in Facebook's settings are setup without the trailing '/'
Also, check your index file allows POST requests - i'm not sure if heroku have any such restrictions but many other servers won't allow POST requests to some URLs
