I am unable to start the bamboo as a window service in my pc - bamboo

I have downloaded the bamboo windows 64bit, in the installation process, I set the bamboo installation directory in my C:\Program Files\Bamboo and my bamboo_home directory in C:\Users\<current-user>\Bamboo-home. When I start the StartBamboo.bat file it's said that The service name is invalid
And If I click on InstallAsService to install the service then nothing happens and even in services.msc I didn't find the bamboo service from where I start the service.
I got the error while running the bat file StartBamboo.bat that is given below-
The service name is invalid.
More help is available by typing NET HELPMSG 2185.
Press any key to continue . . .

Probably the service name has an invalid character. See in the services list, or you can try changing the name in the "InstallAsService.bat" and "UninstallService.bat". You can change the name in the install and remove commands.

rabbitMQ Configuration file missing

I am using Rabbitmq 3.7.2 and Erlang 20.2 , and bydefualt RMQ config file missing
in following path C:\Users\vxadmin\AppData\Roaming\RabbitMQ\config
based on references following step i took -
1 Created environment variable
RABBITMQ_CONFIG_FILE C:\Users\vxadmin\AppData\Roaming\RabbitMQ\config
2 Open command prompt as Admin
and run rabbitmq-service.bat remove
but its throw the error
"C:\Users\vxadmin\AppData\Roaming\RabbitMQ\config"' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
anyone Please guide me what else i have to setup to get config file for RMQ .
There is no need to set that environment variable. Assuming that the vxadmin user installed RabbitMQ, if you'd like to create a config file do the following:
Unset the RABBITMQ_CONFIG_FILE environment variable
Open the "RabbitMQ Command Prompt (sbin dir)" start menu item
Run the following commands:
.\rabbitmq-service.bat stop
.\rabbitmq-service.bat remove
Create the following file C:\Users\vxadmin\AppData\Roaming\RabbitMQ\rabbitmq.conf containing the configuration you'd like. NOTE: this file is in the "ini-style" format. Please use the correct format - it is well-documented here
Run the following commands in the previous shell:
.\rabbitmq-service.bat install
.\rabbitmq-service.bat start
NOTE: the RabbitMQ team monitors the rabbitmq-users mailing list and only sometimes answers questions on StackOverflow.

trouble publishing website TFS 2013

I have a TFS 2013 build that I'm trying to get to publish to a folder on the build server. I've installed WebDeploy, but I always get the error:
C:\Program Files (x86)\MSBuild\Microsoft\VisualStudio\v12.0\Web\Microsoft.Web.Publishing.targets (4274): Web deployment task failed. (Could not connect to the remote computer ("localhost"). On the remote computer, make sure that Web Deploy is installed and that the required process ("Web Management Service") is started. Learn more at: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=221672#ERROR_DESTINATION_NOT_REACHABLE.)
I've set up a website on the build server and that's where I'm trying to publish the website. Actually I don't even care about publishing it per se - I just need my build output to go to a folder locally automatically. Right now we have to manually open the solution and choose Publish... to get the output that subsequent InstallShield builds need for input. Here are my MSBuild arguments. Does anyone have any idea what could be missing?
/p:SrcDir=C:\Builds\TFS\WebApps\Src
/p:RevKeyname=WebAppsRevNr
/p:DeployOnBuild=true
/p:DeployTarget=MsDeployPublish
/p:MSDeployServiceURL=https://127.0.0.1:8172/msdeploy.axd
/p:CreatePackageOnPublish=True
/p:DeployIisAppPath="WebApp"
/p:MsDeployPublishMethod=WMSVC
/p:AllowUntrustedCertificate=True
/p:AutoParameterizationWebConfigConnectionStrings=False
/p:Authtype=NTLM /p:username=""
I've checked both net start wmsvc and net start msdepsvc and both are running. Any ideas?
Thanks!
UPDATE
I've tried everything that Andy suggested and now when I run this from the command line I get this bizarre error message:
"C:\Workspace\VS2013\WebApps\Main\Src\webapps.sln" (default target) (1) ->
"C:\Workspace\VS2013\WebApps\Main\Src\CoreWebApps\CoreWebApps.csproj"

Any idea why it's looking for Web.config;Areas\Admin\Views\Web.config'.? That makes no sense.
Please try below items to narrow down the issue:
Try to use IP or Machine Name instead of "localhost"
Logon your build agent machine, then manually execute the same
MSBuild command within the same arguments(which you provided in build
definition) to build and deploy your solution, then check result. You
need to ensure you can manually run the same MSBuild command within
deploy argument to build and deploy your solution successfully from
build agent machine. Then use the same deploy arguments in TFS Build
definition.
Double check Web Deploy settings to make sure that the name of the
website is exactly that of what's in IIS.
Install Web Management Tools before Web
Deploy : Install the Web Management Services (Roles -> Web Server >
Management Tools > Management Services). Then uninstall Web Deploy, and then install Web Deploy again.

Getting following Error Message when you run code Using TFS Build

enter image description hereThe Path Error I have Got
Getting Path error when running C# Code through TFS , Not able to find CSV path from which we are picking data for Execution
Note: Deploying & Running Code through Virtual Machine
First, please try to build your code manually on the Virtual Machine to see if it works.
Second, double check if the path and the file exists on your virtual machine.
Third, ensure that the "Project Collection Build Service Accounts" group and "Project Build Service (TEAM FOUNDATION)" user have appropriate version control rights, such as Read and Label. Make sure that Inheritance is set to On. Usually the get path error may related to a permission issue.

epmd error for host myhost: address (cannot connect to host/port) on windows 10

I am trying to install rabbitmq. The installation of both erlang i.e OTP 18.1 file was done successfulyl and also rabbitmq installation completed successfully. But when I try to connect rabbitmq, I get the following error:
C:\Program Files (x86)\RabbitMQ Server\rabbitmq_server-3.5.6\sbin>rabbitmq-plugins.bat enable rabbitmq_management
Plugin configuration unchanged.

Error Empd Rabbitmq
I may be replying really late, but still I'm facing this issue. So it may help somebody event while installing rabbitmq version 3.6.5. To change the node name, open "rabbitmq-env.bat" under "installation dir\sbin" and change RABBITMQ_NODENAME to "rabbit#localhost" (line number 90 in rabbitmq 3.6.5). But make sure you remove the windows service, do change the nodename, install service and start it. This worked for me.
No other options worked for me which were marked as right answer in stackoverflow!
Remove the RabbitMQ service. Uninstall RabbitMQ. Kill the epmd.exe process. Delete your c:\users\\AppData\Roaming\RabbitMQ Directory.
Go to Control Panels -> System -> Advanced -> Environment Variables
Add a variable named RABBITMQ_NODENAME and set it to rabbit#localhost
Reinstall RabbitMQ.
Navigate to the RabbitMQ sbin directory (or run the command from the start menu) and run rabbitmqctl status.
You should no longer see the (cannot connect to host/port) error.
And yes, this will fix your Cisco AnyConnect VPN related installation issues.
open C:\Program Files\RabbitMQ Server\rabbitmq_server-3.7.15\sbin\rabbitmq-server.bat
Add the below command as the first line in
set RABBITMQ_NODENAME=rabbit#localhost
refer attached image
For Windows Machine:
Go in C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData\Roaming\RabbitMQ
Create a file rabbitmq-env.conf
Add the following:
CONFIG_FILE=C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData\Roaming\RabbitMQ\rabbitmq
NODE_IP_ADDRESS=127.0.0.1
NODENAME=rabbit#localhost
The above is my env-config, for this particular issue setting
the nodename will be sufficient.
Turn off you firewall & start the rabbitmq, it will work. After running it one time, even if you turn on the firewall, it will work.
This works for me in Windows 10 machine.
in your shell
$ export RABBITMQ_NODENAME=rabbit#localhost
$ /sbin/rabbitmq-server -detached
change rabbit#INLN50899724A
to rabbit#localhost and try again.
Or, edits your hosts file so that INLN50899724A points to 127.0.0.1
For using rabbit mq on windows 10 for similar error I did below
set RABBITMQ_NODENAME=rabbit#localhost
in the path where rabbit MQ is installed i.e for me it was in C:\Program Files\RabbitMQ Server\rabbitmq_server-3.8.5\sbin>
and then started
.\rabbitmq-server start
Also, I had changed the host to point to my computer name in c:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc
127.0.0.1 yourhostnamehere

How do I install the Apache FtpServer as a service within Windows 7 (64-bit)?

I tried everything I could think of, but I always get this error when I try to start the Apache FtpServer service.
Windows could not start the Apache FtpServer on Local Computer. For more information, review the System Event Log. If this is a non-Microsoft service, contact the service vendor, and refer to service-specific error code 0.
Has anyone got Apache FtpServer to function as a Windows service in Windows 7 or even Windows Vista?
Note:
My Java_HOME environment variable is set as c:\java and I have a symbolic link, linking this directory to the longer C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_17.
I also have another symbolic link pointing c:\ftp to the longer C:\Program Files (x86)\Apache Software Foundation\apache-ftpserver-1.0.3.
The only reason I did any of this in the first place is because I was reading that some people were having problems with spaces or long path names, but I tried physically moving the directories as well, all with the same error.
I had the same issue today using apache ftpser 1.0.5., the error message was "Failed installing 'ftpd' service".
The solution was to start the DOS command shell as "Administrator".
