Vue.Js draw lines between components problem - vue.js

I am using SVGs to draw lines between components that are related in my app. Currently I am grabbing those elements and getting their position info with document.getElementById() and then using getClientBoundingRect.
This generally works, but there is occasional render wonkiness.
Is there a better way to do this? Perhaps an already existing library that works with VueJs?

Changing the class puts a CSS filter on the shape because you have

}
Now the W3C Filter Effects spec says
The application of the ‘filter’ property to an element formatted with the CSS box model establishes a new stacking context the same way that CSS ‘opacity’ does, and all the element's descendants are rendered together as a group with the filter effect applied to the group as a whole.
So browsers are doing the correct thing per that specification. The new stacking context puts the shape in front of the line.

The problem ended up being because of document.getElementById and z-order
I ended up changing my timer to get the element by ref, and iterate through the children of my component to find it.

Illustrator script (or action) to make 1 random layer visible per group

Similar to this question but with adobe Illustrator: Photoshop action to make 1 random layer visible within each group
I want to use an illustrator script (or action) to generate images that are composed of a random sampling of grouped layers.
With in each of the 12 groups, I want to make 1 layer per group visible.
Export the visible layers as an svg. Bonus points if I can change the file format.
Repeat the process n times
I know this is similar to the code linked above though I want to be able to use illustrator instead of photoshop if possible.
It could be something like this:

It hides all the page items, shows one random item on every layer, and saves the document as SVG and PNG in the desktop folder.

PathGraphics not working in real-time or runtime generated

Have simple app using Cesium. I have basic entity with ellipse graphics, moving around, and I need to display its path, using PathGraphics, but it doesn't seem to work for me.
Here's code sample.

But when I launch it all I see is moving ellipse, but no path is drawn. Everywhere I searched they say you just have to have position as SampledProperty and it will work, but it doesn't seem to work for me.
In this case, as you can see, I generate data beforehand, but I also tried adding it in runtime - same result. The only working examples i was able to find where using czml - but it doesn't fit my needs - it will be real-time app.
I found the solution by digging through Cesium Sandcastle - you have to set availability property to entity with time range you want path to be shown. Would be cool if it was covered in documentation at least in some way.

Using document.getElementsByClassName in Testcafe

I have a menu that always has the same structure, but the IDs can change from one installation to another. the only thing that stays the same is the heading (in my case "Plugins"). I call the document.getElementsByClassName function with a Selector inside my test:

The plan is to find the element (with the heading "Plugins") and then click on it when the test continuous.
You don't have to use document.getElementsByClassName in this case. You can just use CSS class selector instead:

You should use the count property when dealing with an array of Selectors. docs. Also, element properties, like exists, count, and DOM node state properties are Promisified, so when you use them not in t.expect, you should use the await keyword:

I found a simple answer to my question. I use the .withText option to click on the Plugins element:

Since this name is also unique, it is always the correct element that gets clicked. I do not know if it would have worked with the solution from #AndreyBelym if my site is not an extJS web application.

PhantomJS PDF page break

I create a PDF report with header generated automatically by phantomjs. In the report I have a long div which contains text, blank lines, simple data tables etc.
Since I believe phantomjs might have problem with the page break, I calculate the page break manually, break up the long div into multiple divs with page break at the end of each div.
Here is my calculation in the jQuery(document).ready()

The "<div style='border:1px solid black;height:1px'>" is just a silly marker to find where my page breaks are on the PDF.
1350px in the estimated height of objects where the page break should be created when I traverse all the children of the long div.
In Chrome, I see that I have a total of 5 pages.
But when it is rendered in PDF, the number of pages goes up to 6 or 7 depending the size of the font, the line height, etc.

Does anyone know the cause of the problem? And how to solve it in general.

Flex 3 - Enable context menu for text object under a transparent PNG

Here is the situation. In my app I have an overlay layer that is composed of a transparent PNG. I have replaced the hitarea for the png with a 1x1 image using the following code:

Using the above code I am able to basically ignore the overlay layer for all mouse events (click, double click, move, etc.) However, I am unable to capture the right click (context menu) event for items that are beneath the overlay.
For instance I have a spell check component that checks the spelling on any textitem and like most other spell checkers if the word is incorrect or not in the dictionary underlines the word in red and if you right click on it would give you a list of suggestions in the contextmenu. This is working great when the text box is not under the overlay, but if the text box is under the overlay I get nothing back.
If anyone can give me some pointers on how to capture the right click event on a textItem that is under a transparent png that would be great.
