If statement for vannila commandblocks in Minecraft - minecraft

Just simply question... How do I check if player has a scoreboard point and if he have any, execute a command. Basically how to translate into command blocks something like this:
scoreboard_check():
if #p has (x=! 0) in "scb":
return (other_command() #p)
else:
return (yet_another_command()#p)

You can add [scores={ObjectiveName=min..max}] to a target to check for a score (could have just read on the minecraft wiki about scoreboard and execute)

Minecraft datapack check if in block (portal)

So this is 100% a minecraft data pack thing... (programming languages are not similar at all)
I have a function to detect if I am in a portal
execute at #a if block ~ ~ ~ blue_stained_glass_pane run say inPortal

So I was wondering if it would be possible to somehow either change this function into a predicate
Or if there is a way to change this into a seperate function and write
execute as #a if function???:inportal run...
A comment on any other ways to detect if they are in the portal would be cool too.
Setting into a predicate is not very practical and will just cause more issues! Doing it this way is simpler and will work fine for you!
Like RoyalQuack, I don't recommend predicate, but if you use execute at #a if block ~ ~ ~ blue_stained_glass_pane run ... you will probably have some issues.
Unless you only have this block in one place on your map, you will probably run portal somewhere else.
I recommend using a positional detection instead:
execute as #a[x=XX,y=YY,z=ZZ,dx=0,dy=1,dz=0] run function sys:yourfunction
(change XX YY ZZ by your location of course)
Using as instead of at allows to use #s in yourfunction which can be convenient. Example of yourfunction:
tp #s 10 25 10 particle flame X Y Z 0 0 0 0.02 force #a title #a [{"selector":#s, "text":" used a portal!", "color": "red"}]
If you have several portals that need to do the same action, instead of using fixed location and having to redo a different command at each portal, you can use an invisible entity to place on each portal and do the detection according to the invisible entity:
execute at #e[type=marker,tag=portal] as #a[dx=0,dy=1,dz=0] run function sys:yourfunction
Here it will run the yourfunction function for all players on the marker entity with the portal tag.

ImageJ batch processing - opening a series of images containing a specific name and doing stuff on them

I have 25K tif files (please don't ask why) that I want to organize into stacks on image J. Basically for each region of interest (ROI), there are 50 images which breaks down into 25 z-planes for two channels. I want everything in a single stack. And I'd like to batch process the whole folder without opening 50 images 500 times at a time. I've attached a picture of what the file names look like:
Folder organization
r01c01f01p01-ch1.tif - the first 10 characters are unique ID to each ROI, then plane number (p01) then channel - ch1 or ch2, then file extension
Here's what I have so far (which I cobbled together based on other macros so this may not make sense...).This is using the ImageJ macros language.

You could do something like:

Which would take care of the opening. I would be inclined to have a loop prior to this which would collate the number of unique "newTitle"'s, as your current setup would end up doing something like opening the first item, assembling the combined TIF, and then repeat the process 25K times if I understand it correctly.
Given that you know the number of unique "r01c01f01p" values, in principle you could do a set of stacked loops akin to:
newTitleArray = newArray();
for (r=1; r<50; r++) {
titleBit = "r0" + toString(r);
for (c=1; c<501; c++) {
titleBit = titleBit + "f0"...
Alternatively, you could set up a loop where you check for unique "r01c01f01p" values and add them to an array. In any case, you'd replace the for "list" loop with the for "newTitleArray" loop, and then continue onto the opener I listed above, instead of your existing one.
If I am understanding correctly, it seems like you might do well to stack by channel first, then merge the two. I am not 100% sure, but I think you could potentially use a macro I have already created to do that. It was originally meant to batch process terabytes of 5D data, so it should be very comfortable handling your volume of images. It is not exactly what you are looking for, but should be super easy to modify (I went a little overboard with the commenting in the code), and I think the only thing it does that you might rather it not is produce max projects from the inputs. I'll throw a link here and look for your reply. If it's of interest, let me know and we can work to make it suit your needs together :-) Otherwise, if you could provide a little more detail about where you're getting stuck and/or where I may have misunderstood, I will do my very best to help!

orientdb sql update edge?

I have been messing around with orientdb sql, and I was wondering if there is a way to update an edge of a vertex, together with some data on it.
assuming I have the following data:
Vertex: Person, Room
Edge: Inside (from Person to Room)
something like:
UPDATE Persons SET phone=000000, out_Inside=(
select #rid from Rooms where room_id=5) where person_id=8
obviously, the above does not work. It throws exception:
Error: java.lang.ClassCastException: com.orientechnologies.orient.core.id.ORecordId cannot be cast to com.orientechnologies.orient.core.db.record.ridbag.ORidBag
I tried to look at the sources at github searching for a syntax for bag with 1 item,
but couldn't find any (found %, but that seems to be for serialization no for SQL).
(1) Is there any way to do that then? how do I update a connection? Is there even a way, or am I forced to create a new edge, and delete the old one?
(2) When writing this, it came to my mind that perhaps edges are not the way to go in this case. Perhaps I should use a LINK instead. I have to say i'm not sure when to use which, or what are the implications involved in using any of them. I did found this though:

p.s.
In my scenario, a person can only be at one room. This will most likely not change in the future. Obviously, the edge has the advantage that in case I might want to change it (however improbable that may be), it will be very easy.

CREATE EDGE and DELETE EDGE commands have this goal: avoid the user to fight with underlying structure.

Orientdb sql auto increment: id is always null (sql batch, update increment, variables)

I was looking at another question in stackoverflow regarding auto increment fields in orientdb, where one of the answers was to create our own vertex with counter field.
However, when I'm trying to execute the following code (both java api and console script batch), It is not working.
Do note however that the id is returned good (did some debug attempts, returning the id variable only), and the vertex is created.
However, the vertex id is always null (unless I set it explicit, that is).
The script:

LET csession = CREATE VERTEX CDate SET id=$id.result, meet_date='2015-01-01 15:23:00'

I tried playing around with $id and $current , but nothing seems to work.
Currently I am doing it in a 2-transaction mode; one to get the id, and another to create the vertex. I really hope there is a better way though.

You should execute
LET csession = CREATE VERTEX CDate SET id=$id.value, meet_date='2015-01-01 15:23:00'
Note the $id.value in place of $id.result.
As stated in a comment to Lvca, the answer was:
(1) Change the field name. Id seems to be reserved (ish). It's probably possible to still bypass it and use a field named 'id', but I didn't want to mess around with it.
(2) From some reason, the result was a collection (shown as '[id]'). It took me some time to figure it out, but I just had to choose the first value from it.
(3) Also, there are 2 'values' here. One of the field ($current.value), and the second one(not sure where it's coming from).
Final solution that works:

Validate a value in sql using and if exists statement?

I am still pretty new to everything and now I am trying to validate my input SQL.
My powershell script allows me to se some variables which I want to enter in a selected database. What I need is a check if the entry already exists or not. And if it exists my script shall stop.
Script part :

"stop script but how?"

So I need something which replaces "stop script but how?" somehow :)
Why do you need to "stop" the script? Reverse your logic - if the thing doesn't exist, only then do the rest of the stuff.
