Samsung Storage Cloud API - api

This might a be a broad question or a wrong place, but has anybody dealt with any api's from Samsung?
My interest is with Samsung Cloud api which would potential allow me to gain information on files which are stored on users account?
Thanks in advance

It appears that Samsung does not provide that opportunity to developers. On Samsung official website there is no information on Cloud APIs. Here is page for your reference
https://developer.samsung.com/build
Samsung Knox talks a little bit about Cloud but it is cloud authentication. Link is below
https://docs.samsungknox.com/dev/common/web-services.htm
Hope this will help.

Can Google IAM or IBM IAM be used as an authentication service by an external microservice?

I have a requirement where I need to develop a microservice and secure the service using an enterprise IAM solution.
But I am very much confused now if at all IAM will solve my purpose or not.
As I have understood going through various articles, that IAM is for authorizing cloud resources.
But I need to authorize a user to allow accessing the external microservice api.
What do I need here for the solution? Is IAM alone sufficient for the authentication purpose?
If not please suggest in brief what I should look for.
Any hints on the Google cloud or IBM cloud will be very helpful. Thanks in advance.
I would use Google Oauth for this problem. I also believe IAM won't solve your problem.

Google Cloud Messaging Business setup

I'm trying to find out how Google Cloud Messaging should be setup for businesses.
Currently I'm using my private Google account to manage the Google Developer Console and create a GCM project for my application. But what if I where e.g. a consultant agency developing an app for a customer, how would GCM be setup then?
I'm trying to answer the following questions:
Is there a way to create a Google account for Business that should be used instead?
Is it still free of charge?
Should the customer have and manage this account or do I as a developer/provider of the app manage this account?
Thanks in advance
From the documentation:
Google Cloud Messaging (GCM) is a free service that enables developers to send messages between servers and client apps.
Your Questions:
Is there a way to create a Google account for Business that should be
used instead?
Gcm does not require a special type of Google Account. Once you can create a Project in the Google Developer Console then you can use GCM with that project.
Is it still free of charge?
Yes it is free, even in business use cases.
Should the customer have and manage this account or do I as a developer/provider of the app manage this account?
This is up to you, it would depend on what the future relationship between the developer and the owner of the application is.

Access limitation for google cloud messaging

What is the access limitation for Google Cloud Messaging? Is this service is totally free of cost? If gcm is paid after a limit then i want to know the pricing. Is anybody can help. I also gone through the google developer console. I got that it is paid after a extent.

Use Service account with Google API like youtube, picasa in web asp.net mvc 4 / JavaScript

I come in order to have some information about Google API and particularly the authentication "Service account"
I have the same problem that this guy is having, and although that concerns another API, he explains the problem very well.
For a few days now I have already read some articles:
Google dev
DrEdit for .Net
C# sample
I have already registered for a Google API account and I am using the Client Key and Secret that was provided to me. I then downloaded the following libraries:
google-api-dotnet-client-1.2.4737-beta.source.zip
youtube-api-samples
google-youtube-v3-rev35-csharp-1.2.0-beta
Nothing has helped me so far...
I would like to know if Picasa web and the Youtube API v2 or v3 can use oAuth2.0 Service account as I am not able to find anything about that. I am currently using Picasa Web oAuthv1.0 and I found it really easy to use but I would like to migrate to Google Youtube API v3/Picasa web API.
The basic workflow idea:
Private Pictures and videos are created specifically for a web site.
Users will log into the site (it isn't a Google users) and see pictures and videos -> All users that successfully log into the site have access to all youtube videos and picasa pictures and this medias are private in Google
The only example I've found anywhere that shows how to use authentication was in a ASP.NET MVC project that unfortunately requires user interaction and i don't want that.
Can someone please me on this? Does anyone has a piece of code written in Javascript or C# for connecting to the API with Service account or is it better for now to authenticate with oAuthv1.0? Any help will be highly appreciated!!
Take a look in Which Google APIs can be accessed with service account authorization? it contains a list of all APIs which support service account.
As far as I know, Picasa and Youtube don't support service account.
Based on the article posted by peleyal, it is my intepretation that YouTube should support the service account. In the answer on the related article, it states "All Google APIs that supports OAuth 2.0 should work with Service Accounts".
Assuming YouTube is a Google API, it also should work.
I'm not 100% confident in that answer unfortunately, because I have seen documentation elsewhere that says Service Accounts: "Several Google APIs act on behalf of an application and do not access user information." https://developers.google.com/accounts/docs/OAuth2#serviceaccount
Does accessing the YouTube APIs constitute "user information"? The answer to that question is the reason I'm not 100% confident without trying it. An expensive time proposition.

Authentication server for Google Apps

We are using Google Apps services in our startup for email and docs. However for some other purposes such as svn and bug tracker we have our local machines on which we have installed the required apps. All of them have their own separate credential sets.
Ideally I'd like to have one authentication (i.e. that of Google Apps) and authenticate on svn & trac etc. using them. Considering Google Apps does not support OpenID, what should be a good solution? Can I setup a server which uses a particular protocol and still nicely wraps around Google Apps authentication?
There is a Google Federated Login API now, it provides OpenID services. Also, as this guy has shown, it's easy to use Google App Engine to create an OpenID provider of your own using Google IDs as the underlying credentials. HTH.
OAuth may help, up to a point -- Google Apps' gdata APIs do support it decently, see here. Of course all this requires and concerns programming, not just system administration: but then I know for sure your question IS about programming, since it's on Stack Overflow -- if you meant to ask strictly about sysadm issues, you would of course be using serverfault.com, right?-)
