WooCommerce: How to automatically select variation attribute dropdown field when there is only 1 option? - variables

So I feel like this isn't too complicated of a request, but I simply can't figure it out. On my WooCommerce site, I have some variable products. There are 3 dropdown variation attributes in the following order (top to bottom): Color, Type, and Part Number. Each variation has a unique part number (only 1 part number per combination), so there is literally no need for the user to select the part number after they have chosen color & type. However, I need that part number to display for purposes of my product feed and so the customer can see the part number they have chosen by the previous 2 options.
My question is; since selecting a "Color" and "Type" narrows the final field ("Part number") down to only 1 option, how do I instruct WooCommerce to automatically select the single "part number" option that's available?

You can do this with JS:
jQuery('a.toggle_component').click(function(e){
if(!(jQuery(e.target).parents('.component').find('select.component_options_select > option[selected=selected]').val())) {
jQuery(e.target).parents('.component').find('select.component_options_select > option:nth-child(2)').attr('selected','selected');
jQuery(e.target).parents('.component').find('select.component_options_select').change();
}
});

QTP Unable to differentiate Web Table in Application

I am a beginner in QTP and I am working on an application where there are two different web tables displayed.
The second web table is detail description of the first web table so it displays when we select a row in the first web table.
In other words, Each row in the first table is selectable and when selected corresponds to the second web table
Web table 1 contains something like below for a user
RelationShip | Name
Father | AAA
Mother | BBB
Brother | CCC
Sister | DDD
Sister2 | EEE
Web Table 2 Contains detailed information for each row in Web Table 1 as I earlier mentioned. SO for Father, the below table is reflected
Details
Name | AAA
Age | 50
Relationship | Father
and so on
Second User might/might not have brother/sister.
The problem now I am facing is retrieving data from second web table for different entity of first one since all the property of the web table are similar expect the below property
"html ID" which corresponds to - "DetailParty_randomno"
This random number is the one which defines the uniqueness of the second web table, which can be retrieved from the first web table though it isn't found in the properties section when we use the Object spy.
I can see this random number when I view the source code of the page. It's displayed as value entity in the tr tag
Value entity looks like "Party_randomno"
<tr style="background-color:yellow" value="Party_1" onclick="Call peoplehighlight("Party_1")" language="vbscript">
My question is if there a way to retrieve this value for each row and then use it in identifying the second web table?
However I did try to read from second table by hard coding "html id" in webtable property to see if it's being read but it didn't work
So my second question is with respect to the correctness of the below descriptive programming code. Is there something else I need to include/exclude in the WebTable property to find uniqueness.
I also did my research and found that it's useful to use index but I am not aware on how to find the index of a web table? Also the index changes for each user I am searching and hence I need to find the index of the table during run time before using it
BrowserName = Browser("micClass:=Browser").GetROProperty("name")
PageName= Browser("micClass:=Browser").Page("micClass:=Page")GetROProperty("name")
Set desc = Description.Create()
desc("html tag").Value = "tr"
Set Rows = Browser("B").Page("P").Webtable("WT").ChildObjects(desc)
RoCounter = Rows.Count-1
For valuecount = 0 To RoCounter
id= rows(i).Object.GetAttribute("value")
Next
'When the right ID is got, parsing it in the below for WT2 Identification
Set ObjTable = Browser("name:="&Browsername).Page("name:="& Pagename).WebTable("class:=Web_Table", "html id:=Detail"&id)
Update
I was able to get the value from the source code using Motti's code. needed to tweak a little and my descriptive programming had spaces between name and : so the objetct wasn't being recognized. It's solved now.
When looking at the description you gave to your WebTable I find it hard to see what you're trying to achieve. class in QTP is mapped to the html className property are you sure that Web_Table is correct className? Also there is (AFAIK) no class name property in QTP, if you mean the test object type then there's no need to add it since you already said that the object is a WebTable.
To answer your question, in order to add indexing you just add "index:=1" to the smart identification (or in the description if you're using the object repository), note that index is zero based so 1 is the second object that matches the description (if there are more than one, if there is only one the index is ignored).
In order to get the random number you can try something like this (untested)
Set desc = Description.Create()
desc("html tag").Value = "tr"
Set rows = Browser("B").Page("P").WebTable("T").ChildObjects(desc)
For i = 0 To rows.Count - 1
id = rows(i).GetROProperty("value") ' Or whatever you need here

Is getting the General ID same as getting FormattedID in rally?

I am trying to get the ID under "General" from a feature item in rally. This is my query:
body = { "find" => {"_ProjectHierarchy" => projectID, "_TypeHierarchy" => "PortfolioItem/Feature"
},
"fields" => ["FormattedID","Name","State","Release","_ItemHierarchy","_TypeHierarchy","Tags"],
"hydrate" => ["_ItemHierarchy","_TypeHierarchy","Tags"],
"fetch"=>true
}
I am not able to get any value for FormattedID, I tried using "_UnformattedID" but it pulls up an entirely different value than the FormattedID. Any help would be appreciated.
LBAPI does not have FormattedID field. You are correct using _UnformattedID. It is the FormattedID without the prefix. For example, this query:
https://rally1.rallydev.com/analytics/v2.0/service/rally/workspace/1111/artifact/snapshot/query.js?find={"_ProjectHierarchy":2222,"_TypeHierarchy":"PortfolioItem/Feature","State":"Developing",_ValidFrom: {$gte: "2013-06-01TZ",$lt: "2013-09-01TZ"}},sort:{_ValidFrom:-1}}&fields=["_UnformattedID","Name","State"]&hydrate=["State"]&compress=true&pagesize:200
shows _UnformattedID that correspond to FormattedID as this screenshot shows:
I noticed your are using fields and fetch . Per LBAPI's documentation, it uses fields rather than fetch. If you want to get all fields, use fields=true
As far as the missing custom fields, make sure that the custom field value was set within the dates of the query.
Compare these almost identical queries: the first query does not return a custom field, the second query does.
Query #1:
https://rally1.rallydev.com/analytics/v2.0/service/rally/workspace/1111/artifact/snapshot/query.js?find={"_ProjectHierarchy":2222,"_TypeHierarchy":"PortfolioItem/Feature","State":"Developing",_ValidFrom: {$gte: "2013-06-01TZ",$lt: "2013-09-01TZ"}}}&fields=["_UnformattedID","Name","State","c_PiCustomField"]&hydrate=["State","c_PiCustomField"]
Query #2:
https://rally1.rallydev.com/analytics/v2.0/service/rally/workspace/11111/artifact/snapshot/query.js?find={"_ProjectHierarchy":2222,"_TypeHierarchy":"PortfolioItem/Feature","State":"Developing",__At: "current"}&fields=["_UnformattedID","Name","State","c_PiCustomField"]&hydrate=["State","c_PiCustomField"]
The first query uses time period: _ValidFrom: {$gte: "2013-06-01TZ",$lt: "2013-09-01TZ"}
The second query uses __At: "current"
Let's say I just create a new custom field on PortfolioItem. It is not possible to create a custom field on PorfolioItem/Feature, so the field is created on PI, but both queries still use "_TypeHierarchy":"PortfolioItem/Feature".
After I created this custom field, called PiCustomField, I set a value of that field for a specific Feature, F4.
The first query does not have a single snapshot that includes that field because that field did not exist in the time period we lookback. We can't change the past.
The second query returns this field for F4. It does not return it for other Features because all other Features do not have this field set.

How to change values in facet to same in Google Refine?

I'm trying to clean this data: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/820037/local_council_election_data_w_occupation.gz
It's all the candidates for a local councils' election in Finland. In the column "Ammatti" there is the occupation of a candidate as reported by him/her.
I want to find all the students, but the problem is, that they can be "opiskelija" (student) or "yliopisto-opiskelija" (university student) and things like that.
I clicked the column title "Ammatti" and Filtered it with "opiskelija", then I created a "text facet" from the menu in column title.
That gives me the following facet:
agrol. opiskelija AMK 1
agrologiopiskelija 9
agronomiopiskelija 1
...and so on.
I'd want to change the value of "Ammatti" (occupation) to "opiskelija" (student) in everyone of these occasions.
To make thngs a bit more complicated the facet has also some occupations (mature students and administrative staff) I don't want to change to "opiskelija":
aikuisopiskelija 10
opiskelijakunnan hallituksen varapuheenjohtaja 1
opiskelijapalvelun päällikkö 1
opiskelijapalvelupäällikkö 1
I did this by hand clicking through the whole list in the facet and changing the occupations one by one.
I suppose there is a better way to do this, but could someone please tell me how I should've done it?
Using the 'include' option in the facet, select all the rows that you want to transform from the column "Ammatti". Then in for this column invoke the Transform function and replace "value" by "opiskelija"
This will replace all the value you have selected by "opiskelija".
Hope this help (and it doesn't come too late).

Adding more information to Magento packingslip or Invoice PDF

How can i add additional information to the Magento Packingslip PDF. I am using integrated label paper, so i would like to add repeat the customers delivery address at the footer and also, some details like total quantity of items in the order and the cost of the items in the order. I am currently modifying local files in: Mage/Sales/Model/Order/Pdf/ but I have only managed to change to font.
EDIT:
Okay, i have made good progress and added most of the information i need, however, i have now stumbled across a problem.. I would like to get the total weight of all items in each order and Quantity.
I am using this code in the shipment.php:
Under the foreach (This is useful in case an order has a split delivery - as you can have one order with multiple "shipments" So this is why I have the code after here:
foreach ($shipment->getAllItems() as $item){
if ($item->getOrderItem()->getParentItem()) {
continue;
...
then I have this further down:
$shippingweight=0;
$shippingweight= $item->getWeight()*$item->getQty();
$page->drawText($shippingweight . Mage::helper('sales'), $x, $y, 'UTF-8');
This is great for Row totals. But not for the whole shipment. What I need to do is have this bit of code "added up" for each item in the shipment to create the total Weight of the whole shipment. It is very important that I only have the total of the shipment - not the order as I will be splitting shipments.
Almost at the end of getPdf(...) in Mage_Sales_Model_Order_Pdf_Shipment you will find the code that inserts new pages (lines 93-94 in 1.5.0.1)
if($this->y<15)
$page = $this->newPage(....)
happening in a for-loop.
You can change the logic here to make it change page earlier to make room for your extra information and then add it before the page shift. You should also place code after the for-block if you want it to appear on the last page as well.
Note: You should not change files in app/code/code/Mage directly. Instead, you should place your changed files under app/code/local/Mage using the same folder structure. That way your changes won't accidently get overwritten in an upgrade.
This should get you the total number of items in your order (there might be a faster way but don't know it off the top of my head):
$quote = Mage::getModel('sales/quote')->load($order->getQuoteId());
$itemsCount = $quote->getItemsSummaryQty();
For invoice PDF
at app/code/local/Mage/Sales/Model/Order/Pdf/Items/Invoice/Default.php
add this before $lineBlock
$product = Mage::getModel('catalog/product')->loadByAttribute('sku', $this->getSku($item), array('weight'));
$lines[][] = array(
'text' => 'Weight: '. $product->getData('weight')*1 .'Kg/ea. Total: ' .$product->getData('weight')*$item->getQty() . 'Kg',
'feed' => 400
);

jqGrid/NHibernate/SQL: navigate to selected record

I use jqGrid to display data which is retrieved using NHibernate. jqGrid does paging for me, I just tell NHibernate to get "count" rows starting from "n".
Also, I would like to highlight specific record. For example, in list of employees I'd like a specific employee (id) to be shown and pre-selected in table.
The problem is that this employee may be on non-current page. E.g. I display 20 rows from 0, but "highlighted" employee is #25 and is on second page.
It is possible to pass initial page to jqGrid, so, if I somehow use NHibernate to find what page the "highlighted" employee is on, it will just navigate to that page and then I'll use .setSelection(id) method of jqGrid.
So, the problem is narrowed down to this one: given specific search query like the one below, how do I tell NHibernate to calculate the page where the "highlighted" employee is?
A sample query (simplified):
var query = Session.CreateCriteria<T>();
foreach (var sr in request.SearchFields)
query = query.Add(Expression.Like(sr.Key, "%" + sr.Value + "%"));
query.SetFirstResult((request.Page - 1) * request.Rows)
query.SetMaxResults(request.Rows)
Here, I need to alter (calculate) request.Page so that it points to the page where request.SelectedId is.
Also, one interesting thing is, if sort order is not defined, will I get the same results when I run the search query twice? I'd say that SQL Server may optimize query because order is not defined... in which case I'll only get predictable result if I pull ALL query data once, and then will programmatically in C# slice the specified portion of query results - so that no second query occur. But it will be much slower, of course.
Or, is there another way?
Pretty sure you'd have to figure out the page with another query. This would surely require you to define the column to order by. You'll need to get the order by and restriction working together to count the rows before that particular id. Once you have the number of rows before your id, you can figure what page you need to select and perform the usual paging query.
OK, so currently I do this:
var iquery = GetPagedCriteria<T>(request, true)
.SetProjection(Projections.Property("Id"));
var ids = iquery.List<Guid>();
var index = ids.IndexOf(new Guid(request.SelectedId));
if (index >= 0)
request.Page = index / request.Rows + 1;
and in jqGrid setup options
url: "${Url.Href<MyController>(c => c.JsonIndex(null))}?_SelectedId=${Id}",
// remove _SelectedId from url once loaded because we only need to find its page once
gridComplete: function() {
$("#grid").setGridParam({url: "${Url.Href<MyController>(c => c.JsonIndex(null))}"});
},
loadComplete: function() {
$("#grid").setSelection("${Id}");
}
That is, in request I lookup for index of id and set page if found (jqGrid even understands to display the appropriate page number in the pager because I return the page number to in in json data). In grid setup, I setup url to include the lookup id first, but after grid is loaded I remove it from url so that prev/next buttons work. However I always try to highlight the selected id in the grid.
And of course I always use sorting or the method won't work.
One problem still exists is that I pull all ids from db which is a bit of performance hit. If someone can tell how to find index of the id in the filtered/sorted query I'd accept the answer (since that's the real problem); if no then I'll accept my own answer ;-)
UPDATE: hm, if I sort by id initially I'll be able to use the technique like "SELECT COUNT(*) ... WHERE id < selectedid". This will eliminate the "pull ids" problem... but I'd like to sort by name initially, anyway.
UPDATE: after implemented, I've found a neat side-effect of this technique... when sorting, the active/selected item is preserved ;-) This works if _SelectedId is reset only when page is changed, not when grid is loaded.
UPDATE: here's sources that include the above technique: http://sprokhorenko.blogspot.com/2010/01/jqgrid-mvc-new-version-sources.html
