Shopify ThemeKit is not working on windows 10 environment - shopify

I have installed Shopify ThemeKit on my windows machine.
After installing ThemeKit, I ran the following command to confirm whether it is installed correctly or not.
theme version
Following are the results.
Then I have tried the following command in Command prompt to generate a config.yml file
theme configure --password=2f012ad145dd5642e85ab4466bd654b1 --store=urflavor.myshopify.com --themeid=41114009658
No error or success message has shown on screen after running above command. See below screenshot
After this, I have tried manual way to create a config.yml file and fetch files from Shopify. I have created a file config.yml and put following contents into the file
development:
password:[PASSWORD HERE]
store: urflavor.myshopify.com
theme_id:[THEME ID HERE]
Then I cd into the folder and tried the following command:
theme download
Following are the message on screen:
Now I went back to the same folder, and sadly it is blank (See below Image)
I have tried both manual and PowerShell method to install Shopify ThemeKit and I am having same error/issues both times.
Environment Details
OS: Windows 10
Themekit : 0.7.5 windows/amd64

After a lot of searching and following different posts on StackOverflow, I didn't find a better solution. I tried same steps on another machine and everything was working fine..
Now on my earlier machine, I found that my Antivirus was the main cause. I have disabled my anti-virus and now ThemeKit is working fine.
Thank you, everyone, who helped me with this.

Vue Project not working after ubuntu customization

I have created a project using vue.js at the frontend and flask at the backend, It was working perfectly. But, after I customized my ubuntu OS, suddenly I am unable to run the project, my flask and every other framework and library was uninstalled and I am unable to reinstall vue and I get this error message when I try to install vue again:
Can someone tell me how to resolve this issue?
By Customization, I installed some extensions and then some wallpapers, icon packs etc..
As a user has mentioned in the replies earlier, what you are trying to do is installing a global package, and the error displayed there clearly stated that you lacked permissions, and the customizations you mentioned should not have any impact on this.
Since you are using Ubuntu, just add a sudo in front of the command that you are trying to execute and it should be fixed.

Node.JS, NPM: EJS deleted itself, installs (but doesn't install), and isn't available to Download?

About 10 minutes ago I was following an online tutorial. I shut down the local server to bring my dog inside the house, then came back to the computer to finish the tutorial.
I restarted the server and got this error:
Error: Cannot find module 'ejs'
I looked in my node_modules folder, and I don't see "ejs" anywhere. I thought ok, no biggie, just reinstall. So I typed: npm install ejs -g into the terminal.
The terminal says:
+ ejs#2.6.1
updated 1 package in 0.275s
I looked in the node_modules folder again, and the "ejs" folder is not there. I checked the package.json file, and I don't see ejs listed under dependencies. (Actually, I don't know if it was there before, I can't remember. I think Express was the only Dependency)
I went to the EJS website (http://www.embeddedjs.com/) to see if I could download it directly, and just pop in the file directly onto my computer, but all of the download links return a 404 page.
There is another link at the top of their webpage: Google Code. I'm not sure which files I should download from there. I literally started tinkering with Node.js this morning.
I'm just super confused on why this is happening or how I can fix it.
You installed it globally. You can run npm list -g to see where global libraries are installed. You won't be able to find it in local directory where package.json is located.

GlassFish 4.1.2 updatetool/pkg tools fail - missing pkg-bootstrap

Summary: The pkg-bootstrap.jar and related files are missing from the latest GlassFish 4.1.2 and this prevents the updatetool from running. What is the proper way to install and run updatetool on Windows 10?
Detail: I was working with the Java EE 7 tutorial and downloaded the Java EE 7 SDK Update 3 (not Web Profile) which is based on GlassFish Open Source Edition 4.1.2. I ran into a problem running the updatetool on Windows 10. When run, it gives the option to install itself but the installation fails. It looks like the update tool uses the pkg tool, and that uses a pkg-bootstrap to install itself the first time. However, this is no longer included in GlassFish 4.1.2. When the updatetool is run, it produces the following errors:
C:\glassfish4\bin>updatetool
The software needed for this command (updatetool) is not installed.
If you choose to install Update Tool, your system will be automatically
configured to periodically check for software updates. If you would like
to configure the tool to not check for updates, you can override the
default behavior via the tool's Preferences facility.
When this tool interacts with package repositories, some system information
such as your system's IP address and operating system type and version
is sent to the repository server. For more information please see:
http://wikis.oracle.com/display/updatecenter/UsageMetricsUC2
Once installation is complete you may re-run this command.
Would you like to install Update Tool now (y/n): y
C:\glassfish4>"C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_121\bin\java" -Dimage.path="C:\glassfish4\bin\\.." -jar "C:\glassfish4\bin\\..\pkg/lib/pkg-client.jar" refresh
Error: Unable to access jarfile C:\glassfish4\bin\\..\pkg/lib/pkg-client.jar
C:\glassfish4>"C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_121\bin\java" -Dimage.path="C:\glassfish4\bin\\.." -jar "C:\glassfish4\bin\\..\pkg/lib/pkg-bootstrap.jar" "C:\Users\[userid]\AppData\Local\Temp\pkg-bootstrap21687.props"
Error: Unable to access jarfile C:\glassfish4\bin\\..\pkg/lib/pkg-bootstrap.jar
C:\glassfish4\bin\pkg does not exist in either the latest Java EE 7 SDK Update 3 or the latest GlassFish 4.1.2. Some research on the nightly builds shows that the directory trees glassfish4/.org.opensolaris,pkg and glassfish4/pkg were removed between builds glassfish-4.1.2-b03-02_25_2017 and glassfish-4.1.2-b03-03_07_2017. I can't find anything that explains why they were removed or an alternate way to install the updatetool. My work around was to copy the two trees from glassfish-4.1.2-b03-02_25_2017 into c:\glassfish4 (from the Java EE 7 SDK Update 3) and that seems to work. But, I figure that if this was removed, there was a good reason for it, and I shouldn't be hacking it.
If there was a separate installation step for the package tool, I missed it. What is the proper way to get the updatetool to run on GlassFish 4.1.2?
I have jdk1.8.0_121 and jre1.8.0_121.
Thanks for your help.
I had the same problem as DevDevDev.
I went to the link in his post:
http://download.oracle.com/glassfish/4.1.2/nightly/index.html
Downloaded the archive:
glassfish-4.1.2-b03-02_25_2017
http://download.oracle.com/glassfish/4.1.2/nightly/glassfish-4.1.2-b03-02_25_2017.zip
Extracted the missing folders into my glassfish directory:
/glassfish4/pkg
/glassfish4/.org.opensolaris,pkg
As DevDevDev I have questions about why it was removed but it works for me...for now.... Hope it helps someone else. Thank you DevDevDev I would not have solved this without your post!
I was working with Java SE. Then I needed to work with JAX-WS, so I went into the same website as you.
Basically, it says that you have to:
Download the package (a compressed file with a folder called glassfish4)
Unzip the downloaded file (does not specify where)
voilá
It did not work for me, so I kept searching and I found this: https://forums.netbeans.org/post-91328.html
You just need to download this update from netbeans plugin Manager:
"Java EE Base"
Good luck!
I got the same problem too. It seems that glassfish 4.1 did not integrate the Update Tool, so as doc of oracle suggests, we'd better install SDK 6(glassfish 3). Here is Java EE 6 SDK Update 3, note that the version provided here is with JDK 7. If you already installed JDK in your windows 10, you may ignore it.
When you finish downloading the .exe file, you should not install SDK by double-click the .exe file. Instead, you should run below command:
java_ee_sdk-6u3-jdk7-windows-x64.exe -j [JRE-Home]
note, command here is the name of your .exe file and it needs console arg of JRE Home, mine command is as below:
java_ee_sdk-6u3-jdk7-windows-x64.exe -j D:\JDK\jre
It seems that unzipping the file using Windows explorer's zip support doesn't work properly. If you instead do as described in the README and run:
jar xvf glassfish-4.1.zip
The archive is extracted properly and all the needed pkg files are there.
What files do you need? I had the save problem I was looking for the files of tutorial. Finally I found them here: ..../glassfish4/docs/javaee-tutorial/

Installing dotnetnuke module install fails with 404

Im doing some dev work on a dnn module. I was able to build and install a package on my installation of DNN once. I made some changes and wanted to uninstall and reinstall it. Uninstalling went fine. Installing the module again failed by throwing a 404 on the install popup window as soon as i upload the new module zip. I dont see anything logged in the event viewer. Anyone know what can cause this?
Im running DNN 6.2.4
UPDATE: adding more info
the url its 404ing on is: "/Host/Extensions/tabid/36/ctl/Install/rtab/36/portalid/0/Default.aspx?popUp=true"
Im sure this is something unique to my module. I tried installing other modules and they worked fine.
Try hitting F12 in your browser to load the Developer console and see if you can find what the URL is that is 404'ng, that'll make tracking down the issue easier.
Update: Since it appears to be the old "max upload size" issue check out this video for how to fix that part

Joomla Mootools file getting truncated

I am trying to run Joomla on my local machine. I have installed wamp 2.0 and everything installed ok with it and I managed to see it running. I have now come to install Joomla 1.5.18 but I am having a problem with the mootools file on the installation wizard.
When running through the installation process in FireFox with firebug turned on I get errors about the mootools file missing a }. When I view the file through windows explorer it is complete and everything is fine with it but when I click on the error in firebug to see the error the file is truncated which I assume is why it is not working and complaining about a missing }. To test the file I created a test page which pulls in the same mootools file and this works fine (running locally and not through Joomla ).
Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it? I think it must be a problem with wamp as like I said the file is fine and runs ok if I run it from the file system, however I know nothing about servers so this is a guess. Maybe a limit on the size of a file which can be returned as the mootools file is around 7000 characters long.
I have tried un-installing both Joomla and Wamp but none this has not worked and I still get the same error. Thanks
I'm just curious, have you tried installing a newer version of Joomla? 1.5.8 is a little bit old and you may have better luck using something a version or two newer. Alternately speaking, if you're not a big fan of installing WAMP and then manually installing Joomla, you can use a Bitnami Joomla stack. Basically, Bitnami installs Apache, mySQL, PHP, and Joomla all in one quick and easy install.
I hope that some of this helps!
I would suggest that your problem is not with the Mootools package but with your template or modules that are loaded in. Can you turn off all of your modules and reenable them one by one until you see the error again?
