Calculating dates in Kotlin using date picker - kotlin

How can I calculate the number of weeks and days from today to a chosen date on a date picker? I tried to use weekOfMonth and day properties but they don't exist.

I am trying to get start date of the week from existing daily date field from the same table. For example daily dates from 05/08/2022 to 05/14/2022 , the start of the week date output need to come as 05/08/2022 for all days in the week. week start on Sunday.
Also similar thing require to first date of the Month and quarter(3 month division)
The date_trunc() function performs this operation - https://docs.aws.amazon.com/redshift/latest/dg/r_DATE_TRUNC.html

Set calendar dates

I am using DatePicker and I want to set a calendar date based on other calendar field, if the date of first calendar falls in current month then the date of second calendar should be valid from the date of first calendar (for eg: 1st calendar date is set to 20-06-2021 which is of current month then the second calendar date should allow to add date from 20-06-2021), if the date of first calendar falls in last month then the date of second calendar should be valid from the start date of this month (for eg: 1st calendar is set to 20-05-2021 which is of last month then the second calendar date should allow to add date from 01-06-2021), please give me a solution on how I can resolve this issue.
You can do it by using state suppose you have started your first date picker from 2021-06-20
this.state = {date:"2021-06-20"}
and then when the user changes the date you update your state by
onDateChange={(date) => {this.setState({date: date})}}
now by using this updated state you can start your second date picker by using the current state.
And by assigning it to a variable you can apply any conditional statements that you want.

How to adding month to date in and return in Date format in Robot Framework

I try to calculate month.
My Example code: 27/01/2020 + 20 months
Test Date
${PAYMENTDATE} Set Variable 27/01/2020
${PAYMENTDATE} Convert Date ${PAYMENTDATE} date_format=%d/%m/%Y result_format=%Y-%m-%d
${DATE} Add Time To Date ${PAYMENTDATE} 20 months result_format=%d/%m/%Y
log to console ${DATE}
But it not work, Could anyone help please?
In your code you are providing time value in months which is not valid. Unfortunately adding months to the date is not possible using the Robotframework DateTime library. From the DateTime documentation:
time: Time that is added in one of the supported time formats.
You need to provide the time value in one of the possible way e.g. You can provide days.
20 months approximates to 600 days and below code works without problem.
${DATE} Add Time To Date ${PAYMENTDATE} 600 days result_format=%d/%m/%Y
In case you are looking for exact days to be added for 20 months than you need to calculate exact number of days starting from the date you want to add 20 months to and provide it in above code instead of 600 days. You can easily find answers on how to calculate exact days using python like this here.

How do I summarise month to date forecast for current month in Power Pivot?

I have a table in a data model that has forecast figures for the next 3 months. What I want to do is to show what the forecast number for the current month to date is.
When I use the DATESMTD function like this:
=CALCULATE(SUM(InternetSales_USD[SalesAmount_USD]),DATESMTD(DateTime[DateKey]))
I get the last month of my data summarised as a total. I assume that is because the DATESMTD function takes the last date in the column and that is 3 months away.
How do I make sure I get this current month MTD total rather then the end of the calendar? The formula should be clever enough to realise I am in May and want the May MTD not the August MTD.
Any ideas?
The way to do this is to do this:
Forecast_Transaction_MTD:=CALCULATE(sum('ATO Online'[2017 Transaction Forecast]), DATESINPERIOD('ATO Online'[Current Year],TODAY(),-day(TODAY()),day))
the last -day(TODAY()) gets the day number for the current day and subtract it from today's date. So, today is the 25 May. the -day(TODAY())),day)) extracts the day (25) and subtracts it from the current date to get me to the 1 May.
The rest of the formula just adds the total for the dates.

How to get the difference between two dates (informix)?

How to get the difference between two dates (informix) in integer format like that
day = 15
mon = 2
year = 1
There are two sets of date/time values in Informix: DATE and DATETIME.
The DATE type is oldest (it was in the precursor to the SQL-based Informix), and represents the integer number of days since a reference date (where day 0 is 1899-12-31, so day 1 was 1900-01-01).
You get the difference between two DATE values in days by subtracting one from the other.
The DATETIME system is newer (but still old — circa 1990). You can take the difference between two DATETIME YEAR TO DAY values and get a result that is an INTERVAL DAY TO DAY (essentially the number of days).
You could also take the difference between two DATETIME YEAR TO MONTH values and get a result that is an INTERVAL YEAR TO MONTH.
However, there is no way to get a difference in years, months and days because there is no simple way to deduce that value. In fact, ISO SQL recognizes two classes of INTERVAL: those in the YEAR-MONTH group, and those in the DAY-SECOND group. You can't have an INTERVAL that crosses the MONTH/DAY barrier.
Use the MDY function :
select mdy(2,15,2014) - mdy(1,15,2014) from sysmaster:sysdual
