I'm used to debugging my React Native (0.63.2) app using Safari's dev tools. I got an M1 Mac Mini last week and have since been unable to get the console or source tabs to show anything from the iOS simulator. Not sure if this is related to the new machine, or if I missed a setting. Any ideas?
I usually do Develop > Simulator > JSContents from Safari, and everything would show up fine. I can get logs in the terminal, but Safari's devtools are much easier to manage.
Installing and using the "Safari Technology Preview" from https://developer.apple.com/safari/download/ worked for me.
In order to use React Native Debugger, I don't see the option 'Debug JS Remotely' when I open the Developer Menu both on my android simulator and my physical device, using expo. Tried both scenarios and no option for Debug JS Remotely...
(I originally wanted to use my external device with React Native Debugger and I can't find the setupDevtools.js file at node_modules/react-native/Libraries/Core/Devtools/setupDevtools.js in order to update this file for use. I don't know if these two might be related, but also wanted to share)
Am I missing something? Thank you...
I guess the option Debug JS Remotely has been replaced by the option Debug with the latest version of react-native.
And If you want to use your external device with a debugger just shake the device and select the debug option from the developer menu.
But as #JoeBe suggested you should also look for an already open debugger and then try it.
You can also open the developer menu just by pressing d on node.js screen if you are using the latest version of react-native.
I had the same issue. But as it turns out, after terminating all other debuggers it was working with that Debug option as well.
I am trying to access my VueJS application running on my node server on IE11 by accessing the URL http://localhost:8080. However I cant access the same as only a blank screen appears. I have babel polyfill installed and imported in my main file and have babel presets already setup in babelrc file.
My app is currently running and is accessible on Chrome but not on IE11.
I don't get a single error message in console and have no clue what could be going wrong. Has anyone ever faced this?
You need to use polyfills. IE11 does not support ES2015, it needs to be transiled by babel. There seem to be various ways of doing this.

When I'm trying to use Remote JS Debugging in Google Chrome shows Cached Bundles. See the image below.

Is there anyone who encountered this problem?
I'm using React Native Version 0.47.
Thanks in advance.
If you use Chrome, clear cache from browser and reload app from react native. This fix my issue :)
Get rid of that final forward slash and it should kick you to the normal debug window. I'm running 64.0.3282.186 version of Chrome and this works for me. However, I know someone who says they get force redirected to the address with the forward slash, so I hope you're not in that boat.
To fix the error, you need to clear your cache in chrome and it will work again.
Close the packager and install the app again. This worked for me.
I want to know why in WEBVIEW Context the xpath generated by Appium isn't working using iOS simulator with java to write our scripts?
Other question is there a way to make the code generated by appium recorder working in our java classes, because for now while we are in WEBVIEW there is no chance with appium we have to take a look into html code to create code.
PS : I have already tried to change the context to NATIVE then turn
back to WEBVIEW_1 but no changes.
