Exactly as in Title guys.
I've already passed variables as arguments to native modules through RCT_EXPORT_MODULE, and I'm aware of RCT_CUSTOM_VIEW_PROPERTY, although this is for 'callable' components, and I'm not sure it can be used to pass a JS variable to AppDelegate.m, neither how to do it.
Anyone was able to do this? Cheers!
I found this package react-native-config and it does the job greatly!
Here's their github: https://github.com/luggit/react-native-config
If someone come's up with a better answer, I'll mark it as the right answer ;)

I have been using Fancytree quite successfully for several years. Of late a new requirement has arisen. I would like to change the tooltip for a node that is currently visible. Is there a way to do this? How? Using an API? I have tried changing the tooltip property of an existing Fancytree node. Strangely, this did not work. What will work? Thank you.
Over on Github, this was resolved by Mr. Wendt. He suggested calling node.renderTitle() after modifying node.tooltip (which was correct) and he found a typo in my code. See Github issue #1093
Summary of problem
I'm building a calendar app in Swift, and I'd like to start with the UI in this repo: https://github.com/erichoracek/MSCollectionViewCalendarLayout
This repo is written in Objective-C.
However, I'm not sure how to build on top of this Github repo using Swift.
Example of the UI I'd like to use in my calendar:
What I've tried
I successfully installed this library with CocoaPods.
I ran $pod install.
I successfully ran import MSCollectionViewCalendarLayout.
I added a new CollectionViewController on my Storyboard, and assigned it to my custom CalendarViewController class
I tried (dumbly) with the code below in class CalendarViewController,but I get this error message:
"Cannot assign value of type 'MSCollectionViewCalendarLayout.Type' to type 'UICollectionViewLayout'"
override func viewDidLoad() {
super.viewDidLoad()
self.collectionView.collectionViewLayout = MSCollectionViewCalendarLayout
}
I understand I probably have to use self.collectionView.register(cellClass:forCellWithReuseIdentifier:)...but how?
There's some documentation titled "Usage" in the Github, but unfortunately I'm still lost as to how to use it:
There's also an Example.xcworkspace included, written in Objective-C. I've gone through most of it. They include header (.h) and implementation (.m) files for each of the elements that they use.
There's a good answer to a tangential problem here: https://stackoverflow.com/a/45540130/3979651, but this doesn't directly solve my problem. I'd like to import this Cocoapods library, instead of writing on top of Objective-C files. But I'm also not entirely sure if this is the right / best way to do it.
Summary of questions
How do I link my CollectionViewController to MSCollectionViewCalendarLayout so that it has the same UI?
How do I use self.collectionView.register(cellClass:forCellWithReuseIdentifier:) in this case?
Do I have to write a new file for each element, like in the Example? (Event cell, Day Column Header, etc.)
Or, would it be easier to just copy and paste the Example element files (.h and .m) into my app? If so, how do I build on top of those files?
What I'd like to accomplish
I would like to import MSCollectionViewLayout like a library, attach it to my own CollectionViewControllers, and build my own functionality on top of this, all using Swift.
Thank you all in advance! Hopefully I can commit the correct answers here to the repo's README.md file.
You can better use one of the below repos which are purely written in Swift and has the same UI as of MSCollectionViewLayout
1) CalendarKit
2) Calendar
Note: I personally used these libraries and these are easy to
integrate with your existing application.
I have installed a package #ng-bootstrap/ng-bootstrap for my angular project, I already implemented the carousel by it, but I need a multi-item carousel, can anybody suggest whether I can achieve it by this package or not, please suggest some tutorials.
In some research, I have not found that ng-bootstrap has a function for this at this time--Please correct me if I'm wrong.
https://github.com/ng-bootstrap/ng-bootstrap/issues/2083
If I ammm correct, since you already have the bootstrap dependency, I would import the 3 required js dependencies (popper, jquery, bootstrap.min.js)
and attempt to use something like this? (Is this what you are talking about?)

How to show Quick Help for the methods which we wrote ...?
Like for inbuilt function when we right click on it & Click Quick Help then we get all info about that method like that I want to do for user defined methods so that any one come to know that method takes which parameter and each parameter for which purpose?
For more explanation, see these two images:
Here is a solution for that. Also check apple documentation. You might have to create document set and install it in Xcode.
Edit: Here is another similar post, How do you populate the Xcode 4 "Option+Click" popover?
There is an open source tool called appledoc which helps with this. You can provide your own documentation in the header files and then run the appledoc script which will (depending on your settings) generate the docsets, install them into Xcode, create a HTML for the documentation as well as rss feeds so that changes to the documentation can be published.
I need to find the nature of the projects in my workspace. I found the IProject.getDescription().getNatureIds() method. as I see, both a plug-in and a fragment have the same natures. So this is not the right way to go.
Any other ideas ?
Thank you
I found the following:
IPluginModelBase[] workspaceModels = PDECore.getDefault().getModelManager().getWorkspaceModels(); and there is a isFragmentModel() method in IPluginModelBase
