rabbitmq cli error getting messages - rabbitmq

I am trying to consume the messages from the CLI application (rabbitmqadmin) using the following command:
$ rabbitmqadmin --host rabbitmq get queue=test requeue=false
*** [{key_missing,ackmode}]
I have seen in working before, but I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong at the moment.
I am using rabbitmq 3.7.2. Any hints?

Please try with ackmode=ack_requeue_false instead of requeue=false

You need to make sure that the raabitmq-server version and the raabitmqadmin version must be same.
In case, you have upgraded your raabitmq from an earlier version to 3.7.2 then you need to replace the older rabbitmqadmin version with the current version (should be same as currently running raabitmq-server version)
For installation of raabitmqadmin correct version, you can refer https://www.rabbitmq.com/management.html
You can also directly download the binary rabbitmqadmin from the link https://raw.githubusercontent.com/rabbitmq/rabbitmq-management/v3.7.2/bin/rabbitmqadmin

How can you install 3.11.x from 3.10?

I'm trying to upgrade my version of RabbitMQ using chocolatey. This package has Erlang as a dependency, so installs the relevant version required. I've gone from 3.9.19 to 3.10 fine. However, when I try and go from 3.10 to 3.11.7 I get the following error:
beam\beam_load.c(169): Error loading module elixir:
This BEAM file was compiled for a later version of the run-time system than 24.
To fix this, please recompile this module with an 24 compiler.
(Use of opcode 178; this emulator supports only up to 176.)
ERROR! Failed to start Elixir.
error: {error,
{elixir,
{bad_return,
{{elixir,start,[normal,[]]},
{'EXIT',
{undef,
[{elixir,start,[normal,[]],[]},
{application_master,start_it_old,4,
[{file,"application_master.erl"},
{line,293}]}]}}}}}}
I don't know why this is happening, or if it's even a problem. I've not been able to find anything on this error. When I run RabbitMQ it appears to be running ok with the right version of Erlang. However, this error suggests that it's attempting to use Erlang version 24 (which was already installed as part of installing 3.9.19). How is it deciding what version of Erlang to use here? I checked my environment variables and it the ERLANG_HOME is set correctly.
Update
I tried going through the process again and installing rabbitmq 3.9.19 from chocolatey, upgrading to 3.10.1, then using the choco command to uninstall just Erlang 24.0 (using force). I then upgraded rabbitmq to version 3.11.8. This got rid of the previous error but showed another one stating:
ERLANG_HOME not set correctly.
Please either set ERLANG_HOME to point to your Erlang installation or
place the RabbitMQ server distribution in the Erlang lib folder.
However, when I checked the ERLANG_HOME environment variable it seemed to be set correctly, in that it was pointing now at Erlang OTP and not erl-24.0. So why is this error thrown?

Erlang wont start. Unable to load emulator (beam.smp.dll)

I had Erlang 21.2 installed as I am using RabbitMQ (3.7.10), this is on Windows 10. I wanted to upgrade to a later version RabbitMQ (3.9.15), so I uninstalled 21.2 and installed 24.3.3. But after upgrading RabbitMQ I cant run RabbitMQ.
When trying to start I get the following error:
Unable to load emulator DLL
(C:\Program Files\erl-24.3.3\erts-12.3.1\bin\beam.smp.dll)
I thought this might be an issue with RabbitMQ and have uninstalled and reinstalled both Erlang and RabbitMQ multiple times now with no change.
I decided to try run Erlang manually from C:\Program Files\erl-24.3.3\erts-12.3.1\bin\ but when I run '.\erl.exe' I get the same error.
Taking Luke's advice we downloaded 24.3.4 and ran the installer. We also re-ticked the box to install windows binaries even though it said they were already present.
Not sure which of those two things actually fixed the issue but after that Erlang started successfully.

Redhawk IDE will not display Components

When I launch the REDHAWK IDE via Eclipse, I cannot see the installed components (SigGen, fastFilter, etc). I can see the components just fine if I use the command line to create a project. I'm convinced it has to be a path or variable issues, but I just don't know what to reconfigure.
I'm using REDHAWK Version 2.1.0 and on CentOS7
OSSIEHOME is set to the /usr/local/redhawk/core
SDRROOT is set to /var/redhawk/sdr
Any suggestions?
I found a solution by reinstalling and including every Redhawk package that I could find using "yum list redhawk*"
I have the same problem and it turns out I was using a Java version higher than 8 which is not supported by RedHawk. Make sure you use Java 8 to launch the IDE otherwise it does not work. Submitted a DR but because JDK8 still supported they do not feel the need to fix it.
I followed the official installation instructions for RedHawk 2.3.0 on Centos 7.9 and had this same issue, I fixed it by opening a terminal in the Redhawk installation directory and running
sudo yum install redhawk-basic-components-2.3.0-5.el7.x86_64.rpm
After which the components appeared in the IDE without a restart

RabbitMQ setUp Issue In windows

I am beginner to RabbitMQ. For the first time I am trying to configure RabbitMQ in my windows machine.I followed the steps given on official site www.rabbitmq.com/install-windows-manual.html.But the problem I am facing is when I run "services.msc" command, I am not able to see RABBITMQ_SERVICENAME .
What could be the issue?
Shivangi,
When you say "I am not able to see RABBITMQ_SERVICENAME", does it mean you don't see the RabbitMQ service in the list of services ?
What I usually do when RabbitMQ service fails to install correctly, I use the rabbitmq-service script located in the "sbin" installation folder and run the 2 following commands in a command prompt:
rabbitmq-service remove
rabbitmq-service install

iReport 5.5.0 won't start

I want to use iReport on ubuntu 12.04. When I try to start it, it stands still and just gives me this error:
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM warning: You have loaded library /tmp/jna4023560596826437553.tmp which might have disabled stack guard. The VM will try to fix the stack guard now.
It's highly recommended that you fix the library with 'execstack -c <libfile>', or link it with '-z noexecstack'.
How can I solve this problem ?
Edit: I tried: execstack -c /tmp/jna4023560596826437553.tmp but that didn't help.
This error seems more related to a JVM problem instead of jasper. Indeed, Java 7 on linux has a feature which blocks code written in C (or other languages like Ruby etc) and linked into Java (the so-called Java Native Interface - JNI) from halting the whole VM if it’s written badly or maliciously.
So, if you're using java version 1.7, getting back to 1.6 should do the trick. But if you want to keep this version, then try a clean uninstall and re-install of java:
Uninstall,
Install
Notice that if you're not running on 1.7 , it could be a compatibility problem. Try to match the right jars required for iReport to get it work on linux.
I'm using ubuntu and I did below,
Opened the ireport.conf
and uncomment jdkhome
and added java 7 paths (since my default is java 8)
jdkhome=/home/bhanuka/Apps/jdk-7u80-linux-x64/jdk1.7.0_80
