How to retrieve omniture using omniture developer api - api

We have programmed in android to track omniture using page name using the code
Analytics.trackState(pageName, params);
The params contains lot if data like s.channel, s.prop, Prop, s.eVar
Now: We want get all the params which got recorded in omniture by hitting this link
I am trying to use the nomniture module to call Report, but it is very difficult to understand the parameters to choose a particular page
My Node.js Code
var Client = require('omniture').Client, c = new Client(username,
sharedSecret, 'sanJose'), reportData = {
"rsid_list" : [ reportSuiteId ]
}
How to use s.pageName in a request to retrieve the recorded variables for a particular custom page name
I tried to use Report.QueueTrended, Report.QueueOvertime, Report.QueueRanked followed by Report.Get but I am not getting anything
I always ended up getting errorCode 5003, The report may contain imcomplete data. Please try again later

Use URL as an API method for Slackbot in Express js

I am still new to javascript and trying to write a Slackbot in express js. I want to use the method defined in https://api.slack.com/methods/channels.history. How should this look syntacticly and how do I use it since the method is simply a URL?
You need to make an http request for the URL and you'll be returned a response with an object containing the status (ok:true|false), if there are more messages (has_more:true|false), and then an array of the actual messages (messages:array).
The response should look something like this:
{
has_more:true
messages:Array[100]
ok:true
}
The url that you make the get request to should look something like:
https://slack.com/api/channels.history?token=BOT_TOKEN&channel=CHANNEL_ID&pretty=1
Where BOT_TOKEN is the token attached to the bot you created, and CHANNEL_ID is the ID (not the name) of the channel whos history you want to get (9 uppercase alphanumeric characters, starts with a "C").
There are also a few other parameters you can include in the url. For example, "latest=", "oldest=", "inclusive=", "count=", and "unreads=". Details about those parameters can be found on the page you linked to (https://api.slack.com/methods/channels.history).
If you want to test it out in your browser's console, find a page where jQuery is loaded, open your dev tools and head into the console, and enter the following (with your bot token and channel id swapped in):
$.get('https://slack.com/api/channels.history?token=BOT_TOKEN&channel=CHANNEL_ID&pretty=1', function(response){console.log(response)});

Google Apps Script login to website with HTTP request

I have a spreadsheet on my Google Drive and I want to download a CSV from another website and put it into my spreadsheet. The problem is that I have to login to the website first, so I need to use some HTTP request to do that.
I have found this site and this. If either of these sites has the answer on it, then I clearly don't understand them enough to figure it out. Could someone help me figure this out? I feel that the second site is especially close to what I need, but I don't understand what it is doing.
To clarify again, I want to login with an HTTP request and then make a call to the same website with a different URL that is the call to get the CSV file.
I have done a lot of this in the past month so I should be able to help you, we are trying to emulate the browsers behaviour here so first you need to use chrome's developer tools(or something similar) and note down the exact things the browser does like the form values posted, the url that is called and so on. The following example shows the general techinique to be used:
The first step is to login to the website and get the session cookie:
var payload =
{
"user_session[email]" : "username",
"user_session[password]" : "password",
};// The actual values of the post variables (like user_session[email]) depends on the site so u need to get it either from the html of the login page or using the developer tools I mentioned.
var options =
{
"method" : "post",
"payload" : payload,
"followRedirects" : false
};
var login = UrlFetchApp.fetch("https://www.website.com/login" , options);
var sessionDetails = login.getAllHeaders()['Set-Cookie'];
We have logged into the website (In order to confirm just log the sessionDetails and match it with the cookies set by chrome). The next step is purely dependent on the website so I will give u a general example
var downloadPayload =
{
"__EVENTTARGET" : 'ctl00$ActionsPlaceHolder$exportDownloadLink1',
};// This is just an example it may or may not be needed, if needed u need to trace the values from the developer tools.
var downloadCsv = UrlFetchApp.fetch("https://www.website.com/",
{"headers" : {"Cookie" : sessionDetails},
"method" : "post",
"payload" : downloadPayload,
});
Logger.log(downloadCsv.getContentText())
The file should now be logged, you can then parse the csv using hte GAS inbuilt function and dump the data in the spreadsheet.
A few points to note:
I have assumed that all form post values are static and can be
hardcoded, in case this is not true then let me know I will give you
a function that can extract values from the html.
Some websites require the browser to send a token value(the value will be present in the html) along with the credentials. In this case you need to extract the values and then post it.

I am trying to use Yodlee/executeUserSearchRequest as a RESTful request and need an answer on how to call

I am working with the Yodlee services in c# and using the RESTful api. So far I have successfully connected and logged in with my CobrandSession and UserSessionToken in the development environment. I used the sample apps provided in c# and with some advice from shreyans i got an app working. What I got working was
1) Get YodleeAuthentication
2) Get UserAuthentication
3) Get ItemSummaries
I am now trying to get the full transaction details for each of the Items (i.e. collections of accounts that are an Item)
reading the Docs here https://developer.yodlee.com/Indy_FinApp/Aggregation_Services_Guide/REST_API_Reference/executeUserSearchRequest it states that I need to call executeUserSearchRequest and then paginate through the results using the getUserTransactions. So I am stuck at this point. I dont really want a search which has parameters I just want ALL transactions for this account that I can see.
However, I am using the variables as defined in that page :-
var request = new RestRequest("/jsonsdk/TransactionSearchService/executeUserSearchRequest", Method.POST);
request.AddParameter("cobSessionToken", param.CobSessionToken);
request.AddParameter("userSessionToken", param.UserSessionToken);
request.AddParameter("transactionSearchRequest.containerType", param.ContainerType);
request.AddParameter("transactionSearchRequest.higherFetchLimit", param.HigherFetchLimit);
request.AddParameter("transactionSearchRequest.lowerFetchLimit", param.LowerFetchLimit);
request.AddParameter("transactionSearchRequest.resultRange.endNumber", param.EndNumber);
request.AddParameter("transactionSearchRequest.resultRange.startNumber", param.StartNumber);
request.AddParameter("transactionSearchRequest.searchFilter.currencyCode", param.CurrencyCode);
request.AddParameter("transactionSearchRequest.searchFilter.postDateRange.fromDate", param.FromDate);
request.AddParameter("transactionSearchRequest.searchFilter.postDateRange.toDate", param.ToDate);
request.AddParameter("transactionSearchRequest.searchFilter.transactionSplitType.splitType", param.SplitType);
request.AddParameter("transactionSearchRequest.ignoreUserInput", param.IgnoreUserInput);
request.AddParameter("transactionSearchRequest.searchFilter.itemAcctId", param.ItemAcctId);
var response = RestClientUtil.GetBase().Execute(request);
var content = response.Content;
return new YodleeServiceResultDto(content);
As per the response from shreyans in this posting Getting Error "Any one of [**] of transactionSearchFilter cannot be NULL OR Invalid Values I am not putting in the ClientId and the ClientName
The documentation doesn't specify the format of the dates but the example seems to tell me that its american date format. And specifies a parameter saying IgnoreUserinput, but doesnt have a parameter for user input so this is confusing
When I make a call using this format I get an error response
var getSearchResult = yodleeExecuteUserSearchRequest.Go(yodleeExecuteUserSearchRequestDto);
getSearchResult.Result="
{"errorOccured":"true","exceptionType":"Exception Occured","refrenceCode":"_60ecb1d7-a4c4-4914-b3cd-49182518ca5d"}"
But I get no error message in this and I have no idea what I have done wrong or where to look up this error, can somebody who has used Yodlee REST Api point me in the right direction as I need to get this researched quickly....
thanks your your help, advice, corrections and pointers....
Here is the list of parameters which you can try
1) For a specific ItemAccountId all transactions
transactionSearchRequest.containerType=all
transactionSearchRequest.higherFetchLimit=500
transactionSearchRequest.lowerFetchLimit=1
transactionSearchRequest.resultRange.startNumber=1
transactionSearchRequest.resultRange.endNumber=500
transactionSearchRequest.searchClients.clientId=1
transactionSearchRequest.searchClients.clientName=DataSearchService
transactionSearchRequest.searchFilter.currencyCode=USD
transactionSearchRequest.searchClients=DEFAULT_SERVICE_CLIENT
transactionSearchRequest.ignoreUserInput=true
transactionSearchRequest.ignoreManualTransactions=false
transactionSearchRequest.searchFilter.transactionSplitType=ALL_TRANSACTION
transactionSearchRequest.searchFilter.itemAccountId.identifier=10000353
2) For a Specific account (itemAccountId) with start and end dates
transactionSearchRequest.containerType=all
transactionSearchRequest.higherFetchLimit=500
transactionSearchRequest.lowerFetchLimit=1
transactionSearchRequest.resultRange.startNumber=1
transactionSearchRequest.resultRange.endNumber=500
transactionSearchRequest.searchClients.clientId=1
transactionSearchRequest.searchClients.clientName=DataSearchService
transactionSearchRequest.searchFilter.currencyCode=USD
transactionSearchRequest.searchClients=DEFAULT_SERVICE_CLIENT
transactionSearchRequest.ignoreUserInput=true
transactionSearchRequest.ignoreManualTransactions=false
transactionSearchRequest.searchFilter.transactionSplitType=ALL_TRANSACTION
transactionSearchRequest.searchFilter.itemAccountId.identifier=10000353
transactionSearchRequest.searchFilter.postDateRange.fromDate=08-01-2013
transactionSearchRequest.searchFilter.postDateRange.toDate=10-31-2013

Docpad : show error/success message on contact form

I added a route in my docpad.coffee file to handle form submissions, that I validate using the express-validator middleware. Now depending on the validation, I want to redirect the users to the same contact page but displaying either a success message when validation is successful (here I'll send an email), or display the error messages.
I didn't manage to pass the validation message to the template to display it. I tried almost all combinations of dynamic: true/false, res.locals = validationMessages, res.sessions = validationMessages, res.templateData = validationMessages with no success.
Furthermore, adding dynamic: true made the changes to the content not appear at all, whatever refresh strategy I use (private mode, cleaning cache, relaunching Docpad, refreshing without cache, etc.). I should probable file a bug about it.
How to ?
I'm using Docpad 6.53.0 (latest to date), node 0.10.15, on OS X 10.8.4
I cheated on this one a bit by appending a hash to the redirect url (eg: "www.mywebsite.com/#messagesent"). I then use client side javascript to read the hash and then show the appropriate message. Something like this:
if (location.hash == "#messagesent") {
$('#message-sent').show();
setTimeout(function () {
$('#message-sent').fadeOut(1000);
}, 1000);
}
Not quite what you were asking though :)

Using Google Apps Script and Google URL shortener API to get click analytics

in Apps Script, I would like to fetch click statistics for previously generated short URLs via the Google URL shortener API.
I'm afraid I don't really get the API documentation. This is what I tried:
function GetShortUrlClicks() {
var analytics = UrlShortener.Url.get('http://goo.gl/WPN7wo').getAnalytics();
var clicks = analytics.getAllTime();
Logger.log(clicks)
}
It seems that the variable analytics is undefined and thus the next line throws an error.
Any help is much appreciated.
You are missing the optional args required to get the Analytics data back.
This function ought to work -
function GetShortUrlClicks() {
var analytics = UrlShortener.Url.get('http://goo.gl/WPN7wo',{projection:'FULL'}).getAnalytics();
var clicks = analytics.getAllTime();
Logger.log(clicks)
}
You can use more see more reference here - https://developers.google.com/url-shortener/v1/url/get
