Xcode will not show up on MacOS server Services - macos-high-sierra

I am using a mac running on High-Sierra, I have installed MacOS server and xcode. On the sidebar of macOS services. Xcode is suppose to be shown like this:
But on my macOS server, it does not show it.
Can anyone help me with this?

The problem is related with the last upgrade "Xcode 9".
At WWDC 2017, Apple announce something that made almost every iOS developer smile, session on ‘What’s New in Signing for Xcode and Xcode Server’. It’s hard to explain, how easy it become to perform Continuous Integration for Apple platforms especially iOS and macOS using Xcode 9 and Xcode Server.

Xcode Server no longer need macOS Server app, it’s now built inside Xcode.

Crash while running old project on iOS 11

I have code which was initially developed on Xcode 3.2. It was then later update to become compatible with ios 7. But now when I run that code with Xcode 9 GM, it run alright on any iOS 10.x device.
But crash on iOS 11 device with following error detail:
Plus: When i open this project with Xcode 9 GM, Xcode doesn't show iPhone X simulator.
I think you have some old static libraries. iOS 11 supports only 64-bit libraries.
And also you can check Deployment target of your app. Maybe it's too low (I think ios7 deployment target is not supported now).
I think your app is running on 32-bit
As a reminder, new iOS apps and updates submitted to the App Store must support 64-bit. Support for 32-bit apps is not available in iOS 11 and all 32-bit apps previously installed on a user’s device will not launch
64-bit Apps on iOS 11
I don't know what is you exact scenario but possibilities of crash with payload could be following. Hope anyone of below all will work for you.
Please Try Following.
Disable "Enable guard Malloc" from diagnostics.
OR
You Can do Following:
delete all certificates from keychain.
Quit xcode
Delete xcode derivedData and delete all provison profiles
Restart mechine
Download latest certifcates and provison profile from Member Center
Click on certifcate i will install in keychain access.your key chain access should like this
OR
if you are using custom framworks, you need to put it inside the Embedded Binaries section located in the Xcode project under the tab Target / General.

Compatibility of Xcode 5 with Xcode 6

Apple has now announced Xcode 6 (and iOS 8). I currently have Mavericks on my Mac (and am not planning to upgrade to Yosemite yet), and am wondering if I can download the Xcode 6 dev preview, while still maintaining my current version of Xcode 5. This is so that I can use the new Xcode 6 features, while still being able to work on, and upload, my current applications. Is that possible?
Also, if I update my phone to iOS 8 Beta, will I be able to run apps from Xcode 5, or only Xcode 6?
Answers would be hugely appreciated! Thanks :)
Even I use Mavericks, I installed Xcode 6. In order to be sure about my maintenance projects, I've also downloaded Xcode5.1.1 from Apple developer portal, copied it into my Desktop, renamed it as XCode 5.1.1 and then moved it to my applications folder.
I have both versions at the moment without any issues and can also select the version of Xcode while opening an existing Xcode project by using open with menu feature.
I hope this helps...
Xcode 6 Beta Release Notes
Xcode 6 Beta requires a Mac running OS X version 10.9.3 (or later) or 10.10.
I think its possible that you can do all things you was able to do with Xcode 5 but I will tell you when my xcode 6 download is finished.
You may install XCode 6 Beta on OS X 10.9.3, and I think that you'll need XCode 6 in order to run iOS8 apps.
One thing that you didn't ask, but that you should keep in mind (as you mentioned your phone):
Devices updated to iOS 8 beta can not be restored to earlier versions
of iOS.
i've installed Xcode6 in Mavericks and iOS simulator crash with message : Unable to boot the iOS Simulator. :-(
You can download the preview of Xcode 6 and use your existing installed Xcode 5 side by side without affecting anything you're doing. Just make sure if you click on a project file that you open it in the correct version of Xcode.
Download xcode dmg file from Apple's developer site. Install it in a different location other than the Applications folder. There you go !!

App works fine in iOS 7 with no modifications?

We've been working on getting our app to work properly with all the changes in iOS 7. Particularly the colors and layouts of things. But these changes are still in development.
The version of our app in the app store has none of these modifications. When testing locally, it works on iOS 6 fine and looks horrible on iOS 7. Yet, upon downloading it from the app store and installing it on an iOS 7 iPad, it seems to work just fine -- just as it used to in iOS 6 (!). We are wondering if there is some "compatibility flag" that the app store folks can switch, which means "not ready for iOS 7 -- use compatibility mode"? I'm not sure how else to explain this. Wondering if anyone else knows?
Our app:
http://appstore.com/cedarssuite
Summary: running via the simulator on iOS 7 or on a development iPad that has iOS 7, the app looks horrible. But downloading the approved app store version and running on iOS 7, it works just fine. Why?
A note: This is no longer correct. Since February 2014, Apple only accepts SDK7 builds
That's normal. all the old apps work fine on new iOS versions since those app. Base SDK set to that old version. in your case (iOS 6.0). They will run using old sdks. But, when you built with the new sdk (Base SDK 7.0) they look horrible as you said and some times they crash. because of layout changes and controls behaviours in the new iOS.
You are only asked to build with the new sdk to take advantage of the new features.
keeping your app. built with the old versions doesn't seem to have disadvantages other than new features. since apple still accept publishing apps with old sdk back to 4.3.
If you set the base SDK < 7, it will use the old iOS 6 style. Of course, that basically requires you compile with an old version of Xcode, and you can't use iOS 7 features, even when running on iOS 7.

Where can I find an iPhone simulator for Xcode 3.1.4

My kids want to learn to write apps on their MacBook which currently runs OS version 10.5.8.
I have downloaded Xcode 3.1.4 but it doesn't seem to have the iPhone Simulator.
Does anyone know where I can find this?
(And are their better tags I should use for this question?)
Thanks.
(UPDATE: I down loaded the " xcode 3.2.6 & ios sdk 4.3" dmg file from Apple in the hopes of accessing just the "iPhone simulator" but repeated attempts to open the .dmg file on my OS10.5.8 Macbook result in a complete, "blackscreen" crash.)
I am really very sorry because this is not straight to your question. But if I were you, I'd like to encourage them to start with Android. To me, an open-platform is more preferred. Beside that, Java is a strong/ dynamic language when comparing to C/C++.
Android developer site
Eclipse IDE
Android SDK
ADT plugin for Eclipse
API guides
Training videos
Hope they will like :-)
Are you sure the simulator was not included? One thing to remember is it won't be shown with xcode in your applications folder.
To use the simulator you have to launch it from xcode by pressing the play button in the top left corner of the interface. If you have already used xcode with an iPhone/iPod/iPad make sure you select simulator from the drop down next the play and stop buttons(press and hold to change what is selected).
If you want to make sure you can access the simulator without xcode, launch the simulator as described above and then right click(or ctrl click) the icon for the simulator and select keep in dock from the options menu.
Hopefully the above helps you with your problem. If xcode truly did not come with the simulator your best option is to uninstall xcode(after backing up any projects) and trying a fresh install. Also try checking Apples dev center (https://developer.apple.com/devcenter/ios/index.action) for information about xcode and the simulator.

How to re-install all the old SDKs(softwares) for iOS developemnt using Titanium?

I'm very new to the Apple Laptop usage and iOS App development using Titanium. Currently I'm developing an iOS Application using Titanium in an Apple MacBook(Mac OS X Version 10.6.6) with the help of Titanium Developer for testing my App.
Now a days my Titanium Developer is frequently crashing in the middle of my application execution even without any error message, after gone through many threads I decided to go with Titanium Studio instead of Titanium Developer. For using this Titanium Studio I need to upgrade my Titanium SDKs and may be iOS SDKs also.
Previously all the required SDKs(Software) have been installed by one of my colleagues who started this iOS App, now I want to uninstall all the old SDKs and planing to develop the App using the new version SDKs. I'm not sure how to uninstall and install the SDKs again in Mac OS X, can anybody please help me to uninstall all the old SDKs and freshly start the iOS application development from the scratch, if possible please list down the step by step procedure for handling this scenario.
Your help is really appreciable...
Thanks in advance,
Siva
If you are using Titanium Studio, you don't need to remove all the SDKs. Titanium Studio gives the option for selecting any of your installed SDKs. For updates it shows the notifications for availability of new versions of SDKs.
