I cant edit my app description - app-store-connect

I cant edit my app description in iTunes after submitting the app. It was showing a LOCK SYMBOL in the description place which is not editable. I have a small spelling mistakes. Can anyone help me please.

App descriptions are no longer editable once an app has been submitted. They used to be, but this changed with the latest updates to the App Store. You'll only be able to edit the description when you submit a new version of the app.

iTunes Connect error: "An In-App Purchase has been returned"

I'm seeing the following error in iTunes Connect in the in-app purchase section for my app:
An In-App Purchase has been returned and is highlighted in the table
below
All of the in-app purchases for a new app have been rejected. They all show a status of Developer Action Needed. Going to each individual in-app purchase shows an exclamation sign with:
Your In-App Purchase has been returned. You must modify or delete
the highlighted item.
However, it there's no explanation at all of what the error is. This seems to be a problem a lot of developers have just started seeing:
https://forums.developer.apple.com/message/78997#78997
Any ideas what's causing this? Is it just another iTunes Connect bug?
I had the same problem, following is the screenshot of how my in-app purchase's details page did show a yellow highlighted portion:
What I did is: added another language.. then deleted the previous rejected language, then added the previously rejected-then-deleted language and then deleted the second added language. :-) And it worked!
There is some issue with your binary or metadata that caused app review to reject your app. You need to address that issue. AND: Rather than reject the IAP, app review 'returned' it. If they had rejected it you would have needed to recode a new IAP because once rejected an IAP can't be resubmitted. Once you address the reason the app was rejected, all you need do is open the IAP, add a " " to any field, save it, remove the " ", save it again and it will be ready. I do not recall if you also need to attach it to the new binary or whether it remains attached.

To fix it, I edited >App Store Information >Subscription Display Name, saved the change, then immediately reverted my changes!

How do I edit the published windows phone app description?

I am not able to edit the description text of the published windows phone app(for existing xap).
- I clicked on Update App
- Then upload and describe your packages
- Edit the description text and save it
- Then app will show Complete or Delete Submission until I resubmit the app and shows app submission status as Not Submitted.
How do I change the description text without resubmitting the app?
There is no other way, you have to submit your changes and wait for the certification process. Microsoft checks whether the description matches your application. They can even reject your submission if your app doesn't fit its description (happened to me once).
To update your description you must need to update your app. Just go ahead with the steps as you followed and update your app. And now a days the certification process is very fast and it will be live within hours.

Changing app homepage content daily

I am developing an iOS app for iPhone using Xcode of course, and need to have the facility to update the information on my initial view daily. This would consist of editing a logo for the day's date, and daily changing a block of text on the same page.
Another feature within the app would need to be to progressively add more and more content (adding further menus and categories of information available to the user on the interface).
I cannot seem to find anything to help me online so I would be HUGELY GRATEFUL for any help!
Cheers :)
Search for JSON and how to retrieve data from an online resource - that's what you want.

Can't change bundle ID in itunes connect?

my first app got rejected because it has the word Youtube in the bundle ID. I've since then changed the bundle ID in the plist.info and in the bundle identifier in Xcode. I also create a new app id under the identifier section in the member center of Apple's developer site but when i try to change it in the EDIT APP INFORMATION section in itunes connect, there is no drop down menu so i can't choose the new bundle ID i made without the word youtube in it. It is because my app is in status "Waiting for upload"? Here what i want to change "Bundle ID" in the picture below.
The menu to edit the bundle ID (if you have never submitted) is now under More > About this App
7/25/16 update: Now you can just edit the bundle id under the App Information if you have never published uploaded a build:
Per https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/documentation/LanguagesUtilities/Conceptual/iTunesConnect_Guide/Appendices/Properties.html, the Bundle ID "can’t be edited after the app is approved."
So, if you have app has previously been approved, then you can't change your Bundle ID. But, if your app has NEVER been approved, then you should be able to change your Bundle ID.
I think your issue is that your app is currently in the App Store review process. I would click on "Binary Details" and then click "Reject this Binary" at the top right. This will remove your app from the App Store review process (status will be "Developer Rejected")and you should now be able to edit your Bundle ID and then resubmit for review.
However, I am assuming your app has never been previously approved. If it has been approved before, I think you need to create an entirely new app.
Hope this helps!
I also have the same issue, and have been able to edit this field in past apps. I called Apple support and they said that the issue is; that once Game Centre is turned on for a BundleID it becomes non editable. We even tried turning Game Centre off but to no avail. They told me the options were to use change the BundleID back in Xcode to match the BundleID in iTunesConnect or to change the name of my game in iTunesConnect (to free up that name) and then create a new app/game in iTunesConnect with the newly freed up name and now proper BundleID.
It should be noted that if you change the name to free it up and create a new app/game, you will not be able to delete the old game/app from your iTunesConnect. It will just sit there in limbo.
They said that there is NO way to edit this field once it has been marked is not editable.
This doesn't answer the issue on how to change it but may make it so people stop spending hours trying to change their BundleID.
Cheers
My App hasn't been validated yet, that because on an error on the bundle id.
To edit the bundle id I went to App Information "Edit", and then I've changed (even created a new one)

Your app version has been metadata rejected. Please correct the issues and resubmit the new metadata.
What causes this problem?
If you got your app rejected, you can find out the reason by clicking on View Details button in app version you recently submitted. Then click Resolution Center button located on top-right corner. There you will find the issues posted by apple.
Please check your metadata of your application on iTunes Connect if it's correct.
