I installed VA Interface v2.22.1.11622 on my computer and downloaded the Virtual Yoke app on my android smartphone. When I open the VA Interface control panel it is marked active and it declares that it is connected to FSX Steam Edition. When I open the app on my phone and try to connect to VA Interface (using the WIFI symbol on the top-left) it takes 1 minute which after there is a message saying "Auto connection failure" and it gives me the option to try connecting manually. I have tried both ways and cant get it to connect and work with the Flight Simulator. Did anybody else have a similar or the same problem? Could someone nudge me in the right direction if I am doing anything wrong?
Thanks.
I figured it out!!! You just need to go to firewall settings and allow private connections with this app. If anybody else having the same problem refers to this post I can give you a detailed explanation on how to get it to work.

I'm trying to connect obniz which is a microcomputer board and touch designer(TD) via WebSocket but it's not succeeded.
I wrote the correct net work address on TD but responses were never returned.
What I have confirmed
settings of obniz : OK
realtime web test :web socket is seems to work
I also asked to a friend of mine to do the same things using his laptop and he was succeeded. It seems to some settings wrong on my TD. Do you know how to solve it? I really appreciate with your support!

I am having an issue when trying to open to any VMs using "Launch Web Console" option via the vcsa 6.7 . I was wondering if someone could please point me in the right direction?
My environment currently looks like this:
1) vcsa 6.7
2) Three Esxi (6.7) Hosts & multiple vms are running (including windows & Linux)
Whenever I try to connect to the console, I get the following error:
The console has been disconnected. Close this window and re-launch the console to reconnect.
Console access is given through a connection to the ESXi host.
Often times I receive this message when connected to the console of a VM which has vMotioned to another host. However, I can close and re-open the console just fine.
You may also want to verify that you can access port 902 (TCP & UDP) for each of your three hosts. Example of this requirement: https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/6.0/com.vmware.vsphere.install.doc/GUID-5071C86E-FF1E-4E54-A424-A20917401160.html
I had the same exact problem and unfortunately, the solutions I found on the internet did not solve my problem. I had to re-check my settings and found out that the problem was the proxy setting was ticked on. which it won't allow you to connect to any others services as well if you are out of range of that proxy. The Solutions "FOR MAC USERS" as follows:
1-Go to your network settings.
2-From the menu down to the right-click more options. in my picture say (Weitere Optionen) "German".
3-From the menu on the left side make sure that the proxy option is 'unticked' (not chosen).
Then click on to confirm and enjoy using your VM service. Hope this would solve your problem as well as it did to mine.

I'm trying to setup the internet at my home. I have an edgerouter x as main router and I want to connect 3 wifi access points to it, all with the same SSID/password so I can roam through my house without having to connect to a different network. The solution seemed simple, setup AP with DHCP and set the other two APs in bridge mode, disable DHCP, set the right SSID and password and done.
Everything goes fine for the AP with DHCP and 1 other AP, but whenever I add the third AP, I can't connect to the wifi, it just keeps on authenticating.
I tried looking up the problem of course, what I found that it is probably due to different security settings on the different APs. However, I can't seem to find where/how to match these settings to resolve the issue.
Could anyone help me out?
The router that has the problem is the TP-Link Archer C7. The one with DHCP enabled is the Netgear WAC104 and the AP that does work is the TP-link AP200.
In my case (one root AP and one bridged; i couldn't get around Authetication error on Windows 10 and Android when trying to connect to bridged AP) what partially worked was in the android settings - wifi - WPS Push Button and when prompt to push WPS button on AP i did so and voila. Android suddenly connected and Windows 10 as well (did nothing additional there). Just to clarify - AP is TP-Link. ANd what dodn't work was adding MAC address as allowed to MAC filtering. Didn't seem to have any security differernces since i use almost all settings on default and two APs were same model and firmware. It worked partially because after a few minutes tried to connect to bridged AP but had to repeat WPS steps in order to work.
I have to use an existing project in STEP7/TIA PORTAL v11 and I have the PLC (CPU 1212C AC/DC/RLY) with the code downloaded inside it which is connected to a touch panel (KTP600 Basic Color PN).
What I want is to download the code from the PLC to my computer to try to modify it, is this posible?
Because I've tried to connect it to my PC and it doesn't detect it. It turns on the ERROR and the MAINT leds in red.
The configuration is over a virtual machine (VMware player with Windows 7) because my PC has Windows 8 installed and it doesn't support TIA PORTAL is there any problem with this?
If program was uploaded with TIA11 it is not good idea to use v13. What is more with other version you need new licence keys.
From your vm ping the plc address if itis in right subnet. Then serch for sccessible nodes. On your picture i see that you should try using 'search all accessible devices'.
Upgrade to version 13 of TIA Portal. This version can run under Windows 8.
Under VMWare you have to change the network settings for your Virtual Machine to bridged. Also install VMWware Tools.
Those are some steps that I would try.
make sure you can ping it from inside your Virtual Machine. It will validate the route to the plc (cable, network config). It’s not a necessary step to connect to a plc, but it’s a good check.
Go to Control Panel on Windows, then PG/PC , then make sure that you have the right Hardware Interface Active
If you still not able to see the PLC, I advise you to to download PRONETA, if it still doesn’t show up there, then the research would have to go deeper. Until today, I’ve only one time in all year when a device have not apeares in Proneta.
When I browse the web with IE10 in win8's Metro part there is no problem but when I try to view page that is located on server in my local network(the same subnet) it displays this message:
This page can't be displayed
•Make sure the web address http://192.168.1.100 is correct.
•Look for the page with your search engine.
•Refresh the page in a few minutes.
If following these suggestions didn't work, resetting your connection might help.
Reset connection [<-a button here]

Now the funny part is that there is an option in metro version of ie10 to open page on desktop (in regular IE10) and than it works with no problem.
I can't find or think of any security setting that would restrict browsing websites inside your own local network.
(this is Windows 8 32Bit Release Preview build 8400)
Any ideas?
This is related to EPM (Enhanced Protected Mode) in IE10. It's hard to summarize in an answer here, but Eric Lawrence (a PM on the IE team) has an excellent post detailing everything about EPM:
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/ieinternals/archive/2012/03/23/understanding-ie10-enhanced-protected-mode-network-security-addons-cookies-metro-desktop.aspx
In particular, read the "Loopback-blocked" and "Private Network resources" sections.
In your case, you might try one of these approaches:
Try aliasing the dotted hostname (http://192.168.1.100) via a custom DNS entry (e.g. http://myservice)
Change the Trusted Zones settings
See if your network connection was established as sharing or non-sharing, which would trigger private vs. public mode.
Again, see Eric's post for the details of each of these.
