odoo Missing dependencies qweb (After DB restore) - odoo

So after restoring a database dump the frontend resources appear to be corrupted on my Odoo installation.
I do not see what I would consider to be critical errors in the server logs and all the resources appear to load correctly (No 404 errors).
I have heard people having similar issues after an database restore if they do not backup the filestore as well. So I am leaning towards this being a filestore <--> DB issue (ie. the db is referencing items in the filestore that have been moved, although I have seen no error indicating this).
Does anyone have any advice on how to best debug this issue?
Also... full disclosure, I have posted this on Odoo's forum as well (go ahead and hate me for that if you will). Here is the posting
odoo Missing dependencies qweb

Maybe if you can delete the references from the db, Odoo will re-create them and that will remove the error.

Sorry Sudhanshu, I am going to post the answer for this. And thanks again for all your help last night. That was epic!
This answer will likely not help anyone. The solution to the problem was rather unique and unexpected. The Main Layout template for the front end was overridden. The new layout was missing critical components which included the csrf_token. Without this Qweb could not properly load and as a result many other modules failed which had Qweb as a dependency or referenced the csrf_token.
I have no explanation for the overridden template, except "It wasn't me".

BI Publisher - Fail to load and save data model

Started BI Publisher about a week ago.
When working on a new data model, about one or two queries in, I get this error when I try to save:
Failed to load servlet/res?s=%252F~developer1%252Ftest%252FJustin%2520Tests%252FOSRP%2520Information.xdm&desc=&_sTkn=9ba70c01152efbcb413.
I can no longer save my data model.
I tried deleting my queries, logging in and out, turning machine off and on, but no luck.
I'm currently resolved to saving all of my queries locally in notepad.
I can create a whole new data model and it will save fine, but then after two or three queries the same thing happens.
What's going on and why would anyone design such a confusing error message?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
After restarting your server once you won't get this issue. It happens some time due to the connection problem.so restart should work for this.It resolved my problem.
None of the proposed solutions worked for me. I found out, on my own, that any unnecessary brackets around CASE in a select statement will cause this error. Remove the unnecessary brackets and the error goes away.
Oracle meta link Doc ID 2173333.1. In BI Publisher releases 11.1.1.8.x and up, there is an option to Manage Cache in the Administration section of BIP. This option was also added to 11.1.1.7 in patch 140715 (11.1.1.7.140715).
Clearing the object cache will resolve the saving errors:
Click on the Administration link
Manage BI Publisher
Manage Cache
Click on the 'Clear Object Cache'

Using Phabricator for a full code audit

I recently got Phabricator installed and am hoping to use it for our future code reviews. Once issue I'm having is that we have a couple of projects that have never been reviewed/audited, and we're hoping to sit down and audit them.
However, I'm not sure how we can go about doing that using Phabricator. When it comes to auditing, Phabricator seems geared towards auditing individual commits, rather than a full codebase. I liked the ability to browse through the code in Phabricator, highlight sections and comment them (especially since we've got multiple people reviewing the same code, one of which is in a very different timezone), but I can't do that with the regular code viewer.
Is there a way to do a full code audit of an existing project on Phabricator, while still benefitting from the review features they have such as adding comments?
This feature doesn't exist in Phabricator. See the following:

Toad: Table Autocomplete Functionality Not Working

I've been using Toad for more than a year now without problems. All of a sudden the table autocomplete feature has ceased working. No settings have been changed, and I've clean installed a new TOAD version, yet the problem persists.
The image below shows autocomplete defaulting into view IN_INSTRUMENT in schema MCDM. Normal behaviour should result in a table/view list.
It is notable that the above does not happen with all schemas. For some schemas I will still see a table list. In the beginning this error happened only with a single schema. Now it is slowly progressing to other schemas as well, which is exceptionally frustrtating when you're dealing with dozens of schemas that contain hundreds of tables each. It slows down development when you must open Schema Browser and look for the exact table/view/procedure/package each time instead of letting autocomplete give suggestions.
This same issue has been described in this thread and and this thread with less detail, yet no accepted answer has been given.
As can be seen from Code Assist settings, these should be in order.
How to reset autocomplete behaviour into what is its original state?
Under View > Toad Options > Editor > Code Assist > Toad Insight Objects, checking Synonyms (in addition to Public Synonyms) worked for me.
I've found the solution to this problem. The issue was a corrupt configuration file. For anyone else with the same problem, this is how I fixed mine:
Backup your appdata folder - you can find its location in options -> general -> application data.
Create a new set of user files using Utilities -> Copy User Settings -> Create clean set of user files. Make sure you are running Toad with administrator rights.
Note that the above will delete all your saved connection details (schema names, passwords, connection strings), so take a note of these.
Hope this helps someone in the future.
Try to check "Public synonyms" in the "Toad insight objects".
Go to Toad Options, and then Editor > Code Assist and uncheck "Cache Code Insight results". This made it immediately start working for me using Toad for Oracle version 9.7. I could then go back and check the box and it would still work.
I faced the same problem even though I set up everything mentioned above.
So basically Toad does not suggest column names if I don't define the scheme name.
X(schema).TABLE_NAME.(then lists all columns)
Worked for me..

Migrations don't run on hosting

I'm using MigratorDotNet to manage Rails-style migrations for my web app. I have a workflow where, if I delete all the tables in the database, I can access an installation view that will run MigratorDotNet and create all the necessary tables.
This works locally. For some reason, when I upload my code to my Arvixe hosting, the migrations just never run. I get this odd error:
There is already an object named 'SchemaInfo' in the database.
This is odd because, prior to running migrations, I manually deleted all the tables in the database (to make sure it wasn't left over from a previous install).
My code essentially boils down to:
new Migrator.Migrator("SqlServer", connectionString.ToString(), migrationsAssembly).MigrateToLastVersion();
I've already verified by logging that the connection string is correct (production/hosting settings), and the assembly is correctly loaded (name and version).
Works locally, but not on Arvixe. How do I troubleshoot this?
This is a dark day.
It turns out (oddly) that the root cause was my hosting company used a schema other than dbo for my database. Because of this, the error message I saw (SchemaInfo already exists) was talking about their table.
My solution, unfortunately, was to rip out MigratorDotNet and go with FluentMigator instead. not only did this solve the problem, but it also gave me a more intelligible error message (one referring to the schema names).
While it doesn't seem possible to auto-set the schema, and while I need to switch the schema on my dev vs. production machine, it's still a solvable problem (and a better API, IMO). I googled, but did not find any way to change the default schema in migratordotnet.
I'm sorry for the issues that you were having. On shared hosting, unfortunately the only way that we may be able to change the schema is manually. If you are still looking for a solution that requires our assistance, please forward your ticket ID to qa .at. arvixe.com as well as arvand .at. arvixe.com and we can look into the best way to resolve this.

How to resolve an Error after importing a package in Enterprse Architect Sparx Systems

Everytime I want to change some properties in some class I get the following error messages:
:Microsoft Cursor Engine [-2147217864]
Row cannot be located for updating. Some values may have been changed since it was last read.
ADODB.Recordset[-2146825069]
Operation is not allowed in this context.
How can I solve them??
Even if this question was posted a long time ago:
Now and then this error occurs in my projects, too.
Every time I try to edit specific elements in Enterprise Architect projects i get exactly the same error messages. The only solution to this is to delete the element completely and create it again.
#TomO:
When you are importing a package, is this from XMI or are you import a source code directory?
I import only via XMI file.
What are you using as a repository?
I'm using a PostgreSQL-Server based repository, which I access via ODBC Driver.
In your ODBC Data Source Configuration do you have "Return matched rows instead of affected rows" and "Allow big result sets".
Could specify where I can find these options? Perhaps this is outdated, becaus I can't find any of these options under the Options/Datasource Menu in my ODBC driver.
If you are importing form XMI are you stripping the GUIDs on import, this is always a good idea if you are making a copy of an existing folder in your model as having two elements with the same GUID is not ideal ;-)
I strip GUIDs when I'm exporting and again when I'm importing XMI files.
I would really apprechiate any help concerning this topic.
If possible i might need a little more information. When you are importing a package, is this from XMI or are you import a source code directory? What are you using as a repository? Given the error I am assuming it is not the local EAP file.

I have also noticed that you asked this on Apr 14th - sorry it has taken me so long to find your request. I hope this helps!
Are you accessing your ea repository as a cloud repository please? If so, you could try to switch to access the repository as an odbc datasource, and this problem might be solved. I think it is a bug of the Sparx enterprise architect cloud service.
