The layers from the map I'm trying to add aren't loading. I keep getting an error message that says this:
The layer, layer_foo, layer_bar, layer_x, cannot be added to the map.
I followed the instructions from ESRI's getting started guide. https://developers.arcgis.com/web-appbuilder/guide/getstarted.htm But whenever I try to add layers from my organizations gallery they wont load and give me the error as stated above.
Does this have to do with my data source? I've set that to my local address [https://computer:3344] and I've set my redirect URI's to the same place.
Please advise, the headaches are strong with this one and I can't seem to find much other good documentation on this subject.
Typically when you get that error it means that the layers in your webmap are not accessible from the computer that you're currently on. You can open the URLs to the layers directly in a separate tab to double-check.

I need a little help here, i hope someone here can help me for a hint or clue.
First of all, I'm not programmer. I'm just web admin who can use cms and basic html.
I was using PrestaShop for my online shop. In the backend, I can't upload new product image anymore.
The error just blank without any sign for me. Here for the screenshot:
I appreciate it, if someone can help me, thanks, and sorry for my english.
#PanjiWiyono This errors don't really give us a quality information, but this is a start. In your JS code should be a ajax query that has an error when converting results to json (first error). You should check what's the exact error that this request is returning by inspecting in browser developer console.
If you detect that the second error is in fact, the response of this ajax query, well now we almost have the problem.
The second error should be related to data size. Check this: Error while sending QUERY packet
Anyway, you should check DbPDO.php class. You can use debug_backtrace function to display the complete stack, but definitly if error is related to a basic PHP class issue you will have not help knowing wich classes are in calling stack.
Good luck.
Simple solution
maybe a extra module is in a conflict with the prestashop core files. go to advanced parameters, performance and disable third party modules and try again.
other option is reupload admin folder with other name and
js folder check again
hope it will work for you
I am trying to implement this function with ArcGIS Server JavaScript API:
I have a web map created by ArcGIS Online (or a web map created on the fly using JSON). Within the web map, I have a point feature layer (or MapServer layer). Initially the entire layer is shown on the map.
Now I am receiving a list of feature IDs received from another server, and I need to hide those points with the feature IDs on the map whilst maintaining the visibility of other points.
I am receiving the lists of feature IDs every 5 mins. Once a new set of IDs is received, I need to make the corresponding point invisible. If a previously hidden point is not included in the new list, they need to be turned back on again on the map.
Any ideas on how to startthis?
Thank you!!
Eric
It sounds to me that you are trying to implement an AVL system.
Anyway, the best way for receiving data for another server is using AJAX. Then, every time you receive new points, you'll need to clear the feature layer point and then to add the newest information from the server.
If you put your code in a fiddle, I'll help you.

I have a bit of a situation. I was assigned a task to create a system that will take a KML file and update markers dynamically on a map. I'm currently generating the KML from a Wireshark Dissection and now need a way to take said data into a mapping tool. There are a few situations:
The PC that will be running the system will not have internet access, so I will need to cache de map data.
Each marker might move location so I need to erase said marker's previous location and update it with a new marker location. I do have a sequence ID I can identify it with, but I don't know how I'll update the new location.
It needs to be dynamically updated. A system will send data, my Wireshark Dissector will dissect the data and export it into a KML. This KML will need to be dynamically loaded into the system.
The basic idea in mind is like looking at Google Maps and watching your car move as it tracks your GPS location. But I need to make this tracking system work for a lot more targets than just one.
I'm sorry I currently have no foundation on where to start, but that's why I ask for your guidance. I've researched on ArcGIS, QGIS, Google Earth and Maps, but I haven't found a way to upload dynamically nor refresh the system.
Anything that could help me start finding a solution for this task will be appreciated.
Thank you for your time.
I had experience using leaflet js which allowed you to use bing map, google map, or opensource MapQuest to display mobile-track and car-tracking (for GM OnStar). I am also coding for kml to display flight-tracking on google earth now.
First, I am not sure it is possible or not :
you have a machine not connecting to internet
you want to use those map resource on internet
SO that I will assume that your machine can access internet. Then, there are many solutions.
You may try to see the simple tutorial on http://leafletjs.com/
You will have idea how to do it.
Plus, you have search for examples for Google earth (on which, I can display 3D tracking route).
Hope this help.
Other than map, see my sample to " Dynamic update data on Google Earth " in the following :
https://sites.google.com/site/canadadennischen888/home/kml/auto-refresh-3d-tracking
hope this help ....
(The following are copy from my link which talking about KML for 3D Google Earth. But I believe you can make it into 2D if you have to "not-use-google-earth".)
...
How to make a dynamic Auto refresh 3D Tracking :
prepare a RestFul service to generate KML file from DB
(sample as in https://sites.google.com/site/canadadennischen888/home/kml/3d-tracking)
My other jsp code will generate a KMZ file which has a link to my Restful service. KMZ file has onInterval ( as in the bottom)
Jsp web page allow user to download KMZ file.
When Google Earth open KMZ file, Google Earth will auto refresh to get new data from that Restful service
Everytime refreshing, server will send the latest update KML data with new data to GE.
KMZ sample:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<kml xmlns="http://www.opengis.net/kml/2.2" xmlns:gx="http://www.google.com/kml/ext/2.2"
xmlns:kml="http://www.opengis.net/kml/2.2" xmlns:atom="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom">

<open>1</open>
<Link>
<href>http://localhost:9080/google-earth-project/rest/kml/10001/20002</href>
<refreshMode>onInterval</refreshMode>
</Link>
</NetworkLink>
</kml>

I'm having a problem when trying to A/B test certain nodes in my node-tree in Umbraco.
What I want to do is to copy a node in the node-tree to a specific spot and use that B-structure to see which of the structures works best, using Google analytics.
For example we have two node structures, let's call them "Private" and "Sweden".
Their structure with childnodes and properties are exactly the same. The only difference between them is the propertyvalues (content). The "Private"-URL is www.mysite.com/Private and the "Sweden"-URL is www.mysite.com/Sweden.
What I would like to do is to change every link on the B-structure, so that it points to its match at the A-structure. The problem is that since it's two different structures, it will have two different alternative links.
With other words, it should be a coinsidence that it enters the B-structure, then be moved back to the A-structure in the next click.
We manage what page it should load (either the A-node or the B-node) with scripts, so that it has a 50% chance for each node, and if it lands on the B-node, Google analytics will save data. What we can't manage is that every link on that page will be to the A-node.
I'd appreciate any help I can get.

David
There's a couple of ways that seem likely to give you a start at least.
The /config/urlrewriting.config file allows you to set up multiple redirect rules within umbraco so a section like the following might work in sending all requests (whether (/sweden/pagename/ or /private/pagename/) back to the private structure. Not sure how GA will handle it:
rewriteUrlParameter="ExcludeFromClientQueryString" destinationUrl="http://www.mysite.com/private/$1" redirect="Domain" redirectMode="Permanent" ignoreCase="true" />
Secondly a simple httpmodule (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307996) can process all page requests and redirect as required - you could do a gaq_push here directly or indirectly.
I'd be interested to know how you get on - it seems a good area for extension to Umbraco.
I'm not sure I have understood perfectly what you need to do, so please excuse any assumptions that may prove mistaken. Here's what I think:
Since A & B nodes should share the same html content (besides the links of course), why don't you make the link href attribute dynamic by using a bit of razor in the template or macro:
#{var isANode = CurrentPage.Parent.Name == "Sweden"; }
A similar approach would work if you are using web forms.
We finally came to the final decision to use the alternative template-solution. Since there seem to be no generic solution for my case of this problem we had to create an alternative template with specific macros to render the different information for every documenttype we're using.
Creating dynamic links for every page is a hell of a job in this stage in the project, since there are so many pages and links. Also some links are made in javascript, so there's another problem.
I copied the a-structure to another node, only for the reason to be able to change propertyvalues. There might be a problem logging and track the information with Google Analytics though, so that's the next step for us in this project. In our alternative templates we're getting the propertyvalues from the b-structure.
Still, if anyone have some better solution I'd highly appreciate it!

I have implemented some code that loads an image from a URL upon a listview item being clicked; this has been tested with a 'dummy' image and works without any problem with the image being displayed in an imageview object.
However, what I really want to do is to load a Static Google Map with Paths (polyline) via URL, but for some reason this is not working and I hope that someone here will be able to tell me what is wrong with my URL:
http://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/staticmap?size=400x400&path=40.737102,-73.990318|40.749825,-73.987963|40.752946,-73.987384|40.755823,-73.986397
According to the Google documentation http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/staticmaps/ I believe that my URL should work, because an image witha path only requires the size attribute (i.e. all others are optional).
When I try to test load my URL via a web-browser I receive an Error 403 in Google Chrome telling me that the googleapis website requires a log in. Is this the API key? I have an API key that I've previously used for a non-static google map and I copy/pasted this key from the map's xml into my URL (using the key= attribute), but again this was not successful.
I've tried searching on google and this forum, but it seems that no-one has had this problem before - or maybe I'm just really bad at searching :( But hopefully someone can assist?
Thanks!
You're missing the required sensor parameter.
http://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/staticmap?size=400x400&path=40.737102,-73.990318|40.749825,-73.987963|40.752946,-73.987384|40.755823,-73.986397&sensor=false
This requirement is fairly new, but yes, you are missing the API key.
Just as you added the parameters &size= or &path=, at some point you need to have a &key=parameter. So for your example it would look like this:
http://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/staticmap?size=400x400&key=ENTER-YOUR-API-KEY&path=40.737102,-73.990318|40.749825,-73.987963|40.752946,-73.987384|40.755823,-73.986397
hope that helps
