I am thinking of integrating spring-cloud-sleuth in our project at work but we have the need for masking passwords and other sensitive information in request/response headers and payload.
Is it something that is supported out of the box for spring-cloud-sleuth or does it need to be configured programmatically by something that spring-cloud-sleuth provides?
You can use the SpanAdjusters to go through the contents of a span and remove / obfuscate whatever pieces you need

With ga.js I could track offline activity and send to my custom server or store in localhist by overriding the sendHitTask.

How can I achieve the same with gtag.js so I can customize where and in what data structure to send hits?
I know it's been a while since you've asked this question, but I wanted to share my findings regarding this matter:
Although gtag.js doesn't support sendHitTask (or an equivalent, as far as I know) it does support the transport_url parameter.
With this parameter you can set an alternate Transport URL to send the data to. It's originally designed to work with Server Side Tracking but it can also be used to capture requests to /g/collect/ or /r/collect/ endpoints on your own server.
I know it only partially resolves your issue, because you can't fully decide where to send the data. But at least it allows to alter the server where the data is sent.

I am setting up a Zap on Zapier and i have been trying to send a payload from Shopify(create order) to a Webhook which is sending data to an API. The problem i am having is adding data to the default payload(all data). I want to send all the data from the payload plus some additional attributes which i am configuring on the Data section, but this replaces the default-all data.
Is there a way to add a value to all the payload? I know i have the option to add the value by header or query string but i would like to add to the body instead. I am currently viewing the custom request but it seems complicated to configure the whole request to just add one value.

The short answer is that it's not possible to do quite what you want. You'll need to map each property into that data box like you're doing and add the custom properties you want.

I'm developing a custom interface which will integrate with OpenShift Origins. At the moment, I have templates which I wish to instantiate. I know I can do this by running the template against the /processtemplate end-point. However, the only way I can find for setting the template parameters is to iterate through the parameter list and overwrite the fields manually.
Is it possible to send a parameter list, and have OpenShift run it against the template, or is this the only solution?
We do not have something like that today - it might be exposed in the future via a /templates/foo/process endpoint supporting form post, but we were hesitant in case we wanted to expose more complicated parameter values in the future.
What is the best way to create a dynamic request URL for the REST Connector in CloudConnect?
e.g. I want the URL to be for example www.myservice.com/api/{todays-date}/report.json and the URL must change accordingly everytime the ETL runs.
Is there some way to make this happen by code in CloudConnect? I didn't find any straight forward way but I found that one might be able to import a remote file containing the URL.
Does anyone have experience or tips on this subject?
what should work the best is to generate this parameter (e.g. in Data Generator) or read some data from the source (e.g. list of IDs) and send it to the REST component as an input parameter (e.g. metadata field name is 'today_date', so use ${today_date}). As far as I know this should work.
Another option is to use a parameter from a *.prm file (like workspace.prm). You can use ${PARAMETER_NAME} in your URL and this should also work correctly.

I'm building a support form for my application. I'd like the user to include their Operating System and Browser they are using, catch is the general users either don't care to look this stuff up or don't know how. I'd like to add a text-input that automatically grabs this information for the user and displays it in the text field. Not sure how to go about doing this as I'm new to rails. I'm assuming I'd have to tie this in with javascript or a model that is attached to the form.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
you can read it on the server side so there is no need to bother the users.
request.env['HTTP_USER_AGENT'] should do the trick. You can also read some more information like the accept language or accept encoding. Just look at the keys like this: request.env.keys and check what could be of use to you.
