Create Product Publish to Multiple Channels - bigcommerce

I'm trying to determine if the bigcommerce API allows you to create a new product and have it display in multiple channels not just the web store. The API documentation doesn't seem to mention anything about channel management for products, is this possible?

Channel management configuration and publishing isn't currently available in the BigCommerce API

Anypoint Platform Apps/Schedulers

Is there a way to get details of all the apps in an Anypoint Platform Business Group. For example, if there are 3 apps available in the RunTime Manager, I am looking at details like below:
I know there are cloudhub APIs which can get the details, but is there a custom API? If yes, can it be integrated with a reporting tool like PowerBI to create a live dashboard?
Please advise.
All or nearly all REST APIs provided by Anypoint Platform return JSON, including the CloudHub REST API. You can check the platform APIs in MuleSoft Dev Portal.
You can use the cloudhub/api/v2/applications/{domain} endpoint to get details of an application: https://anypoint.mulesoft.com/exchange/portals/anypoint-platform/f1e97bc6-315a-4490-82a7-23abe036327a.anypoint-platform/cloudhub-api/minor/1.0/console/method/%231839/
To get the schedulers information the endpoint there is a cloudhub/api/applications/{domain}/schedules endpoint: https://anypoint.mulesoft.com/exchange/portals/anypoint-platform/f1e97bc6-315a-4490-82a7-23abe036327a.anypoint-platform/cloudhub-api/minor/1.0/console/method/%233128/
Both return JSON responses with the information described in above links.
I don't know if that is useful for PowerBI. If not, you can develop your own custom application to query above information and return it in a suitable format. Your application can implement an API of your design if needed.

Is it possible to consume Odoo inventory via the Web Service API?

Is it possible for an external application to update inventory items tracked within Odoo and mark them as shipped to a specific customer?
If so, what's the best way to do that? Via the XML-RPC web service API? Is there a REST API?
The XML-RPC web API seems to imply that this is possible, but it doesn't list the database entities upon which the API is allowed to act. Can this API act on any DB entity?
Thanks in advance for your time.
From what I've seen, there isn't a standing RESTful API for Odoo. There is an API for communicating with Odoo which can be found here. As well as tutorials on how to implement these features here.
If you are in need of a RESTful API then I would provision your own server and have it act as a reverse proxy which communicates through the RESTful model. This way you could dynamically connect multiple clients to multiple DB instances from one point. If you're comfortable with nodejs here is an npm module which just makes HTTP posts to the database with Remote Procedure Calls which have been JSON-ified. This combined with express would offer you a quick solution for an Odoo RESTful API.
That module, however, doesn't seem extensively maintained but the logic is relatively easy to follow and you could fabricate your own quickly.
You can try with the XML-RPC API of the object stock.quant
You will have to provide the location_id and request the product_id and quantity.

How can we use API Connect to publish the existing REST API of customer?

Supposed that customer only provides me the URL end point of their existing API. They don't have swagger file for us to import the APIs.
Customer wants to use API Connect to publish their API to users to use.
I did that successfully with API Management. Now API Management is deprecated by API Connect, but that feature is still in API Connect. I failed to make it work with API Connect. How can we use API Connect to publish the existing REST API of customer not using swagger? Please shed the light. I'm greatly appreciated with your help.
Regards,
Quyen Tran
To publish an API into an IBM API Connect catalog, and to have access to that API managed by the API Gateway, you will need a Swagger (OpenAPI) document.
If you don't have a Swagger document, you will need to author one e.g. using the API Designer or API Manager tooling. You will need to know the URL of the existing endpoint but also the schema of any data that needs to be sent to or received from that URL.
If you made it work with IBM API Management then it should be no different with IBM API Connect.

Is there any open source topic-based subscriber/publish web service for SMS and email notifications?

I have the following requirement for my rails application.
My users will subscribe for updates by choosing different categories and their preferences of receiving the updates (SMS or Email). They receive the updates according to their preferences when ever a update is posted on a particular category.
I am planning to implement a web service with the above functionality. The web service will
Expose an API to subscribe users for different categories.
Expose an API to post updates to a particular category.
Send out email or sms or both for all the subscribers to that particular category according to their preferences.
Is there any open source project or rails gem with the similar functionality or is it better to build my own web service. My application is in Rails3, but I can take the web service in any platform.
Thanks Guys.
Since no body is cared to answer my query, lemme answer it.
I realized building a web service for such functionality is an overkill and there are no opensource projects running on the similar line. So i have decided to include the logic in my rails app rather than building it as a separate service.
