Create issue : Test link integration with jira - testing

I've integrated Testlink with Jira using below xml

I am able to link existing jira issue in to test link.
But create issue window contains Version field which would not alow me to enter any value or not giving any suggestion as displayed in below image.
I've tried to create version in jira but it doesn't work.
So,
What value i should enter/configure for version field ?
What is use of <issuetype>1</issuetype> ? can we provide any other value?
How to link new field on create Issue window?

I'm not sure which version of JIRA REST API you are using but the tutorial for the v2 says:
Just like everyone else in the real world, we're faced with time and resource constraints. Supporting two serialisation formats requires more time than just a single one. Hence, for our initial release of the JIRA REST API, we decided to provide "more stuff in JSON" rather than "less stuff in JSON and XML".
So I'm not sure about the XML support. I have no experience with Testlink, but I guess it's using some kind of serialiser at the back end.
If you check the Create issue endpoint, there is no version field. I guess it will be the versions field instead. In JIRA projects can have multiple versions. You can get a list of versions from the Get project eversions endpoint.
Issue type is an ID of issue type you want to use for your issue. You can get a list of project specific issue types from the Get issue all types
endpoint.

This version field is empty because you have not specified any version for your project in JIRA. In my case it was Fix version in JIRA. Currently the rest API is getting an empty list of versions. You can try
curl -X GET http://example.com/rest/api/2/project/KEY/versions
-H 'authorization: Basic dtgzkisVlbyhsuYWhtYijdsdidjjsidDkw'
This will give you an empty list.
Once you set FixVersion in for your project in JIRA, this API will return the list of available versions for your project and the Version field will be populated with those versions.
PS: use your own authorization headers. You can use [Postman][1] for this purpose.

How can I use Vue data-bindinding in a Moqui form?

I want to add a calculated field to a form that depends on the value entered by the user on some other field and I'd like its value to update before the form is submitted, as if it were using data-binding of some kind.
Is this possible to implement for the vuet output mode?
While part of the initial Vue JS functionality in Moqui Framework 2.1.0 it is only recently well supported and tested so you will need the latest code from the moqui/moqui-framework and moqui/moqui-runtime repositories. This will all be in the upcoming 2.1.1 release series.

document multiple version of API using swaggydoc on grails with same controller name under separate directory

I'm using swaggydoc plugin on my grails application to document the REST APIs. I have two versions of API, v0 and v1 and corresponding controllers with same name, one for each version like:
directory structure
and i have the Url mapping like "/my2api/v1"(controller:"api",namespace:'v1')
"/myapi/v0" (controller:"api", namespace:'v0')
and getting both versions of the API endpoints listed as /myapi/v0/activeContracts like here.
So my question is, how can I get the API end point listed with correct URLs with corresponding versions like /myapi/v0/activeContracts & /myapi/v1/activeContracts as i mentioned I've tried the mapping but it ill just pickup the first the last mapping and assign it to both versions.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
For people facing the same prob, I couldn't find a solution using swaggyDocs and also came across some post suggesting it doesn't support API versioning so ended up switching to Grails RestApiDoc which provides a lot more control (changing the API conf by just editing the json) than I was able to get on swaggyDocs. But please do post if someone knows a way to work it out in swaggyDoc.

Jira V6.0+ creating a project over REST API

I've got a problem: I'm working on an external webinterface for my company and we use Atlassians JIRA as a project issue and tracking method. I am trying to connect our webinterface over the REST API. After a short research I found out, that Atlassian never implemented the possibility to create a new JIRA Project over their REST API. Well, that isn't that true, they've implemented it in the actual version (7.0) because they migrated their other two APIs to one REST API. Now comes my problem: We are currently unable to upgrade from version 6.4.4 to version 7.0.0. After a second search I found a workaround for this problem. You can find it here:
The real problem is that this workaround isn't working or I'm doing it wrong.
I've already tried it with a GET request and the given arguments as parameters and over the normal POST method with a JSON body in it.
What's my problem?
Here some more informations: When I try it over GET, I always receive the normal response for the URL (it returns a list with all available templates). When I try it over POST with a JSON body (this is by the way the normal method for the normal functions of the REST API) I get back a HTTP-Error 415 Unsupported media type.

So after some months I got it by myself. You have to make a POST request with the following header fields:
Content-Type=application/x-www-form-urlencoded; charset=UTF-8
Authorization=Basic {set your credentials as a Base64-String: "user:password"}
X-Atlassian-Token=nocheck
Once done you can set your POST-Parameters to the following:
name=Name of the Project
key=Key of the Project
lead=Leader of the Project
keyEdited=true (don't change it!)
projectTemplateWebItemKey=com.atlassian.jira-legacy-project-templates:jira-blank-item (don't change it!)
projectTemplateModuleKey=com.atlassian.jira-legacy-project-templates:jira-blank-item (don't change it!)
Hope that this helps someone, Jira is just weird in some cases :/

wso2: how to remove the version number from the url path

I'm quite new to WSO2. Although I managed to find a quick hack to ignore the version number from the url path when calling my services, I would like to know if there's an efficient way of doing this: /Personal/1.0.0/Members?tenantId=1&entityNumber=1
Make that API with default version in the Implementation Tab by checking "Make this default version" checkbox. Check here for more and the below image for how to do it.
Once you have checked that "Make this default version" option, You can two URLs for the API in the Store like below
A default API can be invoked without specifying the version number in
the URL. For example, if you mark http://host:port/youtube/2.0 as the
default version when the API has 1.0 and 3.0 versions as well,
requests made to http://host:port/youtube/ get automatically routed to
version 2.0.
If you mark any version of an API as the default, you get two API URLs
in its Overview page in the API Store. One URL is with the version and
the other is without. You can invoke a default version using both
URLs.
From APIM 1.9.0 onwards there is a new feature introduced as "version strategy" where you can provide {version} tag in the context in any place. As an example, if you provide the context as api/{version}/test and in the version field as 1.0.0v it will replace the URL pattern as api/1.0.0/test.
Same like that if you really need to get rid of version number apart from the above answer you can provide a text in the version field since it allows text as well.
E.g.,
In context -> api/{version}/test and in version -> text will make the url pattern as api/text/test
But please note this is not recommended since version is supposed to use version number. You can use the default url as explained in Abiraman's answer. But since version field number allows numeric and text for a situation like -> 1.0.0v, 1v, 1.0.b you can try this as well.

How can I retrieve a Gitlab Project tag list through the API?

I'm writing a REST client to look at project information available from several gitlab servers at the same time in one consolidated place. I understand REST and am able to pull the project details I need except one: the tags.
I'm not talking about git repository tags, those I'm able to get to just fine. I'm referring to the tags that are set under Project Settings. These are tags that, from what i can tell, are meant to be a form of describing the project, not referencing a particular commit hash.
I submitted a merge request back to the Gitlab folks, if accept, any REST call that involves a Project class will include a "tag_list" field with all the project labels.

EDIT: This was merged in Gitlab version 7.10.0 so now you can just run a GET on the Project and the tag_list will be included with the JSON response.

The response to your request will be the body. So you can console log response.body to retrieve the tags.

Always check the request tracker first for features ;) True, in this case you may have done it an not found because of label vs tag keyword confusion, I think it was renamed at some point, so always search for both.
