I'm just starting out on a new website & want to add a Google map onto the page. (i already know the Geo code / location).
I did find a good tutorial, however all i'm getting is a message "Oops, something when wrong" message.
I have tried to go to developers.google.com & research this, but find DOZENS / a hundred different APIs for Google maps. & im unclear as to which API I need.
1) i know google has its own 'product forum' - but theres no forum for Google apis. & the support page directed me here...
2) all i want the map to do is
i provide a geocode / location.
it displays the map in the size / area I want
allow the user to zoom in/out and move the map
Can someone advise me the 'latest' / 'recent' version, of a tutorial on how to achieve this.

Ps I want the map to work on android / PC & other versions of browser a person may use. Do i need to create HTML code / access different apis for each browser ? the above page has dozens of options.
FIXED it - I went to the console screen that generates the API key, & checked / confirmed my key.
I found the problem that my domain name was missing a character / letter - i edited it & the map now works

I'm developing web application which uses Zoom API. In this application users are to be able to go to the specific Zoom meeting. Currently, we are using HTTPS-based links but Zoom provides very low-quality user experience with whose links. How to redirect users to zoomus:// meetings? I found Zoom Documentation such links exist. And found no information about format of those links.
So, the questions I have:
What is the format of zoomus:// URL-schema links
What is the format of Zoom deep links
Is there any API which allows to get a direct Zoom app link for a meeting.
When going via an HTTPS link the web browser then opens a zoommtg:// link which opens the Zoom app. I've not found any documentation for the schema, but looking at the URLs they're of the form:
zoommtg://zoom.us/join?action=join&confno=<number>&pwd=<password>
I have followed a several bewildering sets of instruction, but have so far not been able to acquire the google fonts api key. I have navigated to the Developers Console, selected a Project, then to - APIs & auth - APIs. There are dozens upon dozens of API's to choose from, but NOT ONE that is either 'Google Fonts API' or 'Web Fonts Developer API' or indeed anything that contains the words 'Font' & 'API.' Truly frustrating. Can anyone help?

Simply select the fonts you need, and add it to collection. A little panel should show up at the bottom of your screen. On the upper-right corner of the panel, click on "Use", and about halfway down the page you'll find the code snippet for you to use. Again, no API key is needed.
I am working on an application where is want to show the user his heading location, like in Apple maps (magnetic direction) which is a small triangle and will rotate as the user moves physically using the app. I am using Google Maps SDK and would like to know if Google provides this option, i have researched a bit but dint get. Also, their official Google Map App doesn't have the feature.
Also i would like to know if there is any other better option for the same.
Simply add mapView.myLocationEnabled = YES; should works for your require.
Except you want this feature works well in China.
I'm working with Gigya's Share Bar javascript api and am having an issue with google plus sharing. I have separate UserAction objects for facebook, twitter and google plus to display different text and linkbacks. I'm adding a media item (image) to the facebook and google plus actions to share that image along with the text. Facebook is sharing the correct image, however, google plus is displaying a different image. I have no idea where this image is coming from. Text and link are correct on both, but the image is frustratingly incorrect.
Has anyone encountered an issue like this? Is there something different that must be done for google plus shares?

I am not a developer but I am a university researcher studying informal education through social media.
Recently I just had my account disabled when I tested the application gramblr for uploading photos to Instagram. As I have a few members of my learning community who wanted to participate but could not afford a smartphone I wanted to find them alternate options.
Presently anything I upload and tag does not show up amidst other images with the same tag.
This is a big problem as I am the lead researcher and the community organizer, and I lead through example, as well as create various educational avenues through the use of tags.
Please help me to resolve this issue as soon as is possible.

I was having the same problem. Gramblr actually broke my Instagram account. I had to delete it and start with a new account. Here is how I figured out how to upload photos from my PC with no smart phone:
1 - Download and install BlueStacks: http://www.bluestacks.com/ When running, this program will produce an environment in which you can run popular apps on your computer.
2 - Search for the Instagram app within the BlueStacks App Player & install it. Also search for the Roots Browser app and install it as well (you'll use this app to upload photos from your computer.)
3 - Open Instagram inside BlueStacks & either register a new account or sign in with an existing one.
4 - Open the Roots Browser app and navigate to the desired folder where you will be storing images copied from your computer. I chose SD Card > Pictures. Pull the image(s) into the folder & drop it. It will ask you where you want to send it - choose Instagram.
5 - Open the Instagram app. To upload photos from your computer you must go into the Instagram settings (maybe under Advanced Settings) and disable/uncheck the Instagram camera. In the lastest updates the placement of this checkbox option has changed, so it may take some looking around to find it.
6 - In the Instagram app, click on the camera icon to upload a photo. Choose gallery & then navigate through your Root Browser to the folder where you dragged in your chosen image(s). Choose an image.
7 - Post as you would normally by following the prompts/icons to progress.
I ran into 1 more issue. It turns out that my BlueStacks Instagram app would get stuck after choosing the photo & trying to continue with posting. The screen would turn black & nothing happened for a very long time. I ended up having to update my graphics card drivers & that fixed the problem. If you need help updating your graphics card driver(s) see the http://www.ma-config.com/en website. It will help you to figure out what drivers can be updated. You'll have to download the proper version for your computer operating system & install it on your computer. Double click the icon on your desktop after installation to run it & then hit the refresh button in the browser on the ma-config website. Follow prompts to download drivers needed.
This is the method that worked for me. There are several other methods if you search YouTube with combinations of words including BlueStack & Instagram.
Blue stacks has tons of adware/malware etc. according to my security software, the better work around is dropbox. Put the image in drop box on your computer, then on your phone select your photo from dropbox. A bit long winded but it works.
