I would like to know how I can get users login Access information and their login frequency from Hybris db. Is it possible to know the table/s where this kind of data is stored?
Thanks in advance,
AC
The only available information would be the last login date, if you want to keep more information about the login frequency, you will need to :
Update the User or Employee model to add something like a collection of Date
Customize the 'CockpitAuthenticationProvider' class to populate your new attribute whenever a cockpit user successfully login
Adding to #Benoit answer, you can write your custom logic in StorefrontAuthenticationSuccessHandler & LoginAuthenticationFailureHandler (based on success or failure) to save newly added attributes in User/Employee model.

My problem is that on my development system, I flushed all my users, and now I don't have the hyperwallet user's id. I could retrieve it from hyperwallet API and put in back in place. But what if I want to recreate the user's hyperwallet account?
The error is "DUPLICATE_EMAIL_REGISTRATION" and I couldn't find a single way of removing the user from hyperwallet.
This is the same for the transfer method which state "DUPLICATE_EXTERNAL_ACCOUNT_CREATION" but I do not have, nor in the API, nor in the sandbox interface, the possibility to remove transfer method.
How do you achieve this ? I'd like to not create a new sandbox account just to start from scratch because once in production, I won't be able to resolve this problem.
EDIT :
The whole documentation doesn't contain a single mention of the possibility to delete an account nor to create a new account with the same email.
Also users contains an attribute "Status" but the "Update user" section doesn't mention possibility to update the said status, and the "status transition" chapter only allow to change the "status" for bank accounts/prepaid card account/paypal account etc. But it doesn't seem possible to change de status of the user itself.
Sorry for the issue, we're actually in the process of rolling out this documentation.
There are 2 ways of solving this:
1) we can close existing accounts for you, so you are able to recreate them
2) we can provide you with a report of existing accounts, so you can backfill your system. Accounts in our system have your reference id (clientUserId) as well as ours (token).
Please contact our Developer Support (devsupport#hyperwallet.com) and please reference to me and add a reference to your question here. We'll be happy to assist you.
Thank you,
Willem
I'm new to Piranha CMS and just trying to get my head around it. I'm using the MVC implementation and I need to do the following:
I need to extend the User with a property that stores an account number.
I need a page that is only accessible once the user logs in
On this page, I need to call a REST API on another server, using the account number a parameter, to retrieve a list of documents that the user has stored on this server.
When the user clicks the document, it will be downloaded as a PDF using the REST API once again
I just need general guidance on how to do this. How do I store the account number against the user (and manage this) and do I need to create a new Region that will show the list of documents from the remote server. Is there an example of creating a new Region anywhere and maybe returning a list from SQL that I can adapt?
Any help gratefully received.
Thanks in advance
Mike
The easiest way is to implement an extension with your custom fields that you attach to the user where you store this information.
When editing a page, go in under "settings" and select which groups should have access to your page. For this purpose I suggest creating a new group for site users that are not admins.
This should be easily implemented in either the controller or model for your page. When the user is logged in "User.Identity.Name" is the user id. Get the user, load the extensions & use the account number.
See number three.

I am working on a Titanium Alloy project where in I am creating custom objects using ACS. I also have different users in the Users ACS. I wish to associate a particular custom object to a particular logged in user.
For example, If user A is logged in the custom object created by that user should be associated to user A. Same for user B and so on. How do I create this association? Currently my Custom objects get created but they are not associated to the logged in user.
After a little discussion, I realised I should add my scenario too.
My scenario is, a user changes a few settings using the toggle switch. This information should be stored for a user and later on push notification for selected settings should be sent to the user.
Any help in this regard is greatly appreciated.

So i think you should store custom object in database with its user name so whenever you want you can get back with user's name.
I would like to know if there is a way to find out in APEX when an particular user is logged in directly or via the "Login As" feature from the organization's user list.
The UserInfo class doesn't seem to provide any methods for this purpose and i need to know this in my apex code.
thanks in advance
Something is tracking that your session previously belonged to another user so that the "Logged in as XYZ (foo#bar.com)" message can be displayed in the Salesforce UI.
I suspect this would be cookie based. If this is the case, you could try and isolate it by tracking the cookie changes when you login as another user. If you can find it then you can check for the presence of this cookie in Apex using
Cookie counter = ApexPages.currentPage().getCookies().get('loginAsCookieHere');
As far as I know this isn't possible with salesforce.
Here is the scenario. I have two objects Users (with username/password) and UserInfo with rest of the data related to user. The Users is an old table with thousands of records and UserInfo is fairly new. I want to get as much UserInfo as I can when the user first logs in.
I'd like to force user to a custom screen after first login and ask for the UserInfo data. Once I get the "required" data in the new screen, I dont show it till the user voluntarily wants to fill in the data under "Profile".
Since there are multiple entry points to the application, I dont want to update all the controllers to check for this.
Is there a way I can use a Spring Security filter or something which is executed on successful login? I had a look at ApplicationListener<AuthenticationSuccessEvent> but it doesnt solve the problem as if I copy paste the link in the browser, it lets me go ahead to the destination without asking for "extra information".
In a nutshell, I want a check after each login which, if fails, user is not allowed to enter the application. No matter how he tries to get in.
In your Config.groovy, configure Spring Security's defaultTargetUrl and tell it to always redirect there:
grails.plugins.springsecurity.successHandler.alwaysUseDefault = true
grails.plugins.springsecurity.successHandler.defaultTargetUrl = '/userInfo/edit'
In your UserInfoController's edit action, you can check that the required fields are present (userInfo.validate() perhaps?) and if they are, redirect to wherever you like, perhaps '/', otherwise render the edit info view.
You can adopt what #doelleri proposed and enhance the rule by those steps:
run a batch task to assign a temporary ROLE_DISABLED role to each user who does not provide supplemental information yet. If the user already had some roles, save them in some property.
setup your authorization rule as that users with ROLE_DISABLED role only allowed to access /userInfo/edit.
in /userInfo/edit, if the user has a ROLE_DISABLED role, render the information input view, and resume user's role after it successfully updated its information. Otherwise redirect to '/' or the path it requested.
