how to change collection config "delete source label" in TFS 2015 build definition - tfs-2015

I have a Build definition that creates a label on successful build.
I want to be able to delete the build, but retain the label.
When I delete the build manually, the label is deleted.
Also when selecting the option "retain indefinitely", the label is deleted when i delete the build manually
I am not able to change the value of "delete source label" in collection level (as there is no checkbox to change). See below.
How can i retain labels and be able to delete builds?

I could reproduce your scenario. Even uncheck the "delete source label" option in Default Retention Policy. When manually delete "retain indefinitely" builds, the label is still deleted.
You can consider submitting a UserVoice at website below:
https://visualstudio.uservoice.com/forums/121579-visual-studio-2015

When you delete a vNext build manually, all the information will be deleted as the dialog indicated even though you have disabled "Delete source label" option.
There isn't any way to change this for now. You can submit a feature request for this as Cece's suggestion.
However, if you do want this feature for now, try with XMAL build system which allow you to choose what to keep when delete a build:

How to get rid of 'People who change these files...' changelist in IntelliJ Ultimate

I'm on IntelliJ 2019.2.4 (Ultimate) I'm not sure of the version I upgraded from, but it was from 2018 for sure. I noticed this annoying changelist below my default changelist in a very click-baity way, and I can't find a setting to get rid of it. Trying to delete it prompts me to delete the actual file in that changelist, which I don't want to do. It's nothing I've set up, and seems to be something IntelliJ is doing automatically.
(For posterity/if the image dies, my screenshot shows my changelist with some files I changed in default, and then a second, unwanted changelist below that says 'People who change the files in the active changelist also change:
The node you see is not actually a changelist, and there are no changed files inside it. It lists files that, based on your project git history, are usually changed in the same commits as the files in the active changelist, and appear related to the changes you applied.
The purpose of this node is to suggest some files you might want to change and commit in addition to already modified files, so there is no need to amend or create a new commit with these changes later if the files do need to be modified as well.
If you don't want to see it, just disable the Show files related to the active changelist option under the Eye in the Local Changes toolbar. Disabling the ChangeReminder plugin would also work, but is unnecessary.

Accurev: Cannot remove workspace/stream

I'm trying to remove a workspace (or clone it to look like the parent, but I can't seem to do either). When I try, however, I get this message: Cannot remove workspace test_workspace, because it has a non-empty default group.
From what I've read, it means that there are active files (as shown by the 3 little green dots to the right of stream). I've tried everything to get those to go away but they just seem to stick around and therefore result in me being unable to remove the stream.
Alternatively, I could completely wipe out the stream and replace with the parent version, but I can't seem to do that either.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
You need to purge the active files in this workspace.
Open the workspace and click on the "Default Group" filter -> select the files -> right click -> revert to backed.
If no files appear in the "Default Group" filter, click on the stranded filter and do the same as above to revert those files.
If you are using AccuRev 6.x, click on the outgoing mode and click on "Member" and "Stranded" to get a list of the active files.
Once you have done that, you can remove the workspace.
Similar problem here, fixed it following #jstanley's comment.
Open Workspace-> select it-> right click-> Edit.
In that prompt, I set the Location path to where I wanted it to put it on my local machine. For some reason, it was unable to "create a folder" and threw errors, so make sure Append Workspace name is unchecked and you select a folder that already exists.
It then populated the folder on my local machine attached to the workspace. And revert to basis worked, so afterwards I could remove the workspace and delete the folder.

Temporarily Remove Or Hide Code in Intellij

Is there a way to temporarily hide or remove a file from Intellij? I used to work in c# and I remember there was some way in visual studio to temporarily remove a project from the build then add it back later. I am just trying to figure out what parts of code are necessary for certain features.
This is a perfect use case for git stash.
If you're not using a git repo, hit Ctrl+Shift+A and type "Create Git Repository", then hit enter to initialize git tracking on your current project.
Initially, you'll want to add your important files to git. Hit Alt+1 to navigate to the Project View, then select all the files.
In order to add a file to git, press Ctrl+Alt+A, you should see the filename turn from red to green. It is now being tracked.
Now you'll want to make your first commit. Hit Ctrl+K, and IDEA will guide you through this.
Finally, once everything's all checked in, you can start messing around a little. If you make a few changes, say delete a file, and want to temporarily revert to the last commit, hit Ctrl+Shift+A, then "Stash". Select "Stash changes", write a little message for yourself, and you'll immediately jump back to the last commit.
Now say you want to go back to those changes you stashed. Hit Ctrl+Shift+A again, type "Unstash" then select "Unstash changes". Find the stash, check "Pop stash" and hit Enter.
This is a pretty common workflow for temporarily saving, removing and reverting changes in Git. You can read more about git stash here, and version control on IntelliJ IDEA from Martin Balliauw.

How uncheck in change on RTC?

I've accidentally checked in some changes in a change set and I don't want to deliver them.
How do you move a change from a pending changeset to unresolved changes in RTC?
The usual option is "discard", but that would remove the changes (it actually remains in the repository, but is not listed in any folder, so it feels like your changes just vanished).
What I usually do is:
backup first those files (somewhere outside the sandbox or local workspace)
discard
copy back the files in the sandbox
refresh the sandbox.
The help page mentions another tip:
To make it easier to retrieve a discarded change set that does not exist in any other stream or workspace, you can associate it with a work item before you discard it and then accept it from the work item later.

Remove Configuration from VB2005 application

On the compile tab of the project properties:
If you look at the configuration dropdown it typically shows debug/release/active/all.
I attempted to add another option at one point in the build->configuration manager window, but decided that I didn't want to keep it. I removed it there, but it keeps showing up in the dropdown on the properties, as well as generates a folder by that name.
Does anyone know how to remove this? I can't find any "delete" or otherwise options.
You likely just removed it at one level. Check the configuration manager on your Solution, and then on each of the projects within the Solution, and make sure it's removed from each.
(By going to the drop down, clicking , then remove just as you did before)
