I am trying to install trafodion on Hortonworks 2.2 virtual machine. The following are the machine configurations.
Hotonwork 2.2 virual machine
HBase version 0.98.
Centos version.
I have tried following steps to install trafodion.
1) I have downloaded
log4c++ RPM
Trafodion Installer
Trafodion Server
2)mkdir $HOME/trafodion
mkdir $HOME/trafodion/downloads
cd $HOME/trafodion/downloads
3) yum install to install the log4c++ RPM
4)cd $HOME/trafodion/downloads
tar -zxf apache-trafodion-installer-1.3.0-incubating-bin.tar.gz -C $HOME/trafodion
5)cd $HOME/trafodion/installer
cp trafodion_config_default my_config and Edit Configuration File.
6)cd $HOME/trafodion/installer
./trafodion_install --accept_license --config_file my_config
When running installation I obtain following message.
home/trafodion/traf
****INFO: Copying over sqenvcom.sh

***ERROR: SQ config file cannot be found (home/trafodion/traf/sql/scripts/sqconfig).
***ERROR: Error while running traf_start.
***ERROR: Setup not complete, review logs.
***ERROR: Exiting....
I don't understand why is it saying that. I have defined all configurations in myconfig file.
Any help is appreciated.

to dev Hi there Devidas-
If you are on a single node instance SQCONFIG should equal "". This
will signal the installer to go grab our standard file located in
$SQ_ROOT/sql/scripts.
Thanks!

Error installing MoveIt 2 from source on Ubuntu 20.04 VM

I'm trying to get involved in open source and also am quite interested in robotics, so I thought about contributing to MoveIt 2. As a first step, I'm installing MoveIt 2 from source on my Ubuntu 20.04 VM in VirtualBox.
I've run through all the instructions here: https://moveit.ros.org/install-moveit2/source/#:~:text=colcon%20build%20%2D%2Devent%2Dhandlers%20desktop_notification%2D%20status%2D%20%2D%2Dcmake%2Dargs%20%2DDCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE%3DRelease
However, the build is failing on the highlighted part. The error message is as follows:

You have to install ROS2 before building Move It 2. After installing the ROS2 binaries, the error doesn't occur.

Install Ambari, can't download hortonworks HDP from amazon S3

I'm tring to install apache ambari on my wsl(ubuntu 20.04) as the Ambari User Guides step by step. while install and packing the project to deb files use command:

where/how can i download these hortonworks HDP files and continue to install ambari?
This solution from the Apache Ambari team fixed this and other similar issues with HDP urls: https://github.com/apache/ambari/pull/3283
You need to make the corresponding code changes: https://github.com/apache/ambari/pull/3283/commits/3dca705f831383274a78a8c981ac2b12e2ecce85
replace the downlink with

This problem persists even when I first remove, then reinstall the screen package. Any suggestions as to what's wrong?
My guess is that the system used to build binary packages for 8.0 (as of the 8.0_2020Q1 pkgsrc release) is no longer quite compatible with the NetBSD-8.0 release. It is likely running on a newer release, inside a chroot(8) sandbox.
I would recommend using NetBSD-9.0 instead, as that is the latest NetBSD release, or NetBSD-8.2, as that is the latest release in the netbsd-8 branch. Using the latest NetBSD and pkgsrc releases provides better coverage against unpatched vulnerabilities.
However, if you want to keep using NetBSD-8.0, you can get a working screen(1) from the 8.0_2019Q4 pkgsrc release. To have pkgin(1) pull from that release, edit the /usr/pkg/etc/pkgin/repositories.conf file to use this repository URL:
http://ftp.NetBSD.org/pub/pkgsrc/packages/NetBSD/amd64/8.0_2019Q4/All
There is currently likely just one line in the file that is not commented out, and it points to a URL with just 8.0 in it (which on the server is a symbolic link to the latest pkgsrc release). Just replace that line, or comment it out and add the above line.
Then remove and re-install screen:
sudo pkgin remove screen && sudo pkgin install screen

How can I solve this problem of installation xampp on fedora?

When I run xampp on fedora this error is showing up on application log
Starting Apache Web Server...
Exit code: 8
Stdout:
apache config test fails, aborting
Stderr:
httpd: Syntax error on line 522 of /opt/lampp/etc/httpd.conf: Syntax error on line 10 of /opt/lampp/etc/extra/httpd-xampp.conf: Cannot load modules/libphp7.so into server: libnsl.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
can anyone tell me how can I solve this?
it seems you're missing libnsl. install it through this command:
sudo dnf install libnsl
In case this doesn't work you can then download it manually:
Visit https://pkgs.org/
In the search box (pkgs.org of course) type libnsl.so.1 and choose the appropriate OS. The version shown might be higher e.g libnsl-2.28-9.fc29.x86_64.rpm, but it doesn't matter, the file needed is also included in this very package.
In the terminal, navigate to the directory where the .rpm was downloaded.
Type the following command to install it:
sudo rpm libnsl-2.XX-X.fc29.x86_64.rpm
Upon completion everything should be working fine.
A quick Google search returns this: https://www.reddit.com/r/Fedora/comments/8hlhlv/xampp_with_fedora_28/
The suggested fix is installing libnsl from this source:
https://www.rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/search.php?query=libnsl.so.1%28%29%2864bit%29&submit=Search+...&system=fedora&arch=

Error installing libapache2-mod-rpaf for detecting IPs using nginx as a reverse proxy

I've seen here, that I should install mod_rpaf so that Apache will be able to detect the IPs coming from the Nginx reverse proxy.
Even seen that there is a bug on Ununtu SO, and it should be solved changing the first line on /etc/apache2/mods-available/rpaf.conf.
The first line contains <IfModule rpaf_module>. I've tried replacing with <IfModule mod_rpaf-2.0.c>, but nothing changes when I restart the Apache.
This is the output when I try to install this module:
apt-get install libapache2-mod-rpaf

Per the error, you already have a version of /usr/lib/apache2/modules/mod_rpaf.so on your system with a filehash that differs from what the package config is expecting (expected signature 41503234 but saw 41503232), so you either need to:
1) Work out what installed the conflicting version and uninstall it:
dpkg -S /usr/lib/apache2/modules/mod_rpaf.so
apt-get --purge remove <package>
Or if manually added:
mv /usr/lib/apache2/modules/mod_rpaf.so /usr/lib/apache2/modules/mod_rpaf.so.bak
apt-get install libapache2-mod-rpaf
This may break other stuff.
2) Manually download, re-compile and install from source, should solve the immediate issue, but you'll hit the same conflicting signature issue if you try to update via apt.
3) Unpack the deb file, hack the hash in the config, repackage and install.
