I cannot start Apache Web Server using XAMPP 7.2.26-0 on MacOS Mojave Version 10.14.5

I could install successfully XAMPP 7.2.26-0 on MacOS Mojave Version 10.14.5. The problem is that I cannot start Apache:
In the server events, I see this:
Starting Apache Web Server...
/Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/apache2/scripts/ctl.sh : httpd started
Starting Apache Web Server...
/Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/apache2/scripts/ctl.sh : httpd started
Stopping all servers...
Stopping MySQL Database...
/Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/mysql/scripts/ctl.sh : mysql stopped
Restarting all servers...
Starting MySQL Database...
/Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/mysql/scripts/ctl.sh : mysql started at port 3306
Starting Apache Web Server...
/Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/apache2/scripts/ctl.sh : httpd started
Starting ProFTPD...
Exit code: 8
Stdout:
Checking syntax of configuration file
proftpd config test fails, aborting
Stderr:
2020-01-07 11:33:11,210 Jaimes-MacBook-Pro.local proftpd[24257]: warning: unable to determine IP address of 'Jaimes-MacBook-Pro.local'

Do think think this is caused by an IP address conflict or something else?
UPDATE 1
Since I am not interested in ProFTPD, I am only trying to start Apache Web Server and this is what I see in the server events:
Starting Apache Web Server...
/Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/apache2/scripts/ctl.sh : httpd started
That would make me think that Apache Web Server started successfully. Nonetheless, I still see its status as "Stopped".
UPDATE 2
See below the configurations that I have for Apache Web Server. I have not changed anything. I am using the default configurations.
Add to your hosts file:
127.0.0.1 Jaimes-MacBook-Pro.local
I installed Uniform Server Zero (a Portable WAMP Server) on Windows instead. Thank you.

Tomcat 8.5 fails connection to localhost/8080

I am running Apache Tomcat 8.5. After I start tomcat, I enter the address http://localhost/8080/ in the browser address bar but it gives me the following error :
How do I solve this error and get tomcat running normally ?
The link(url) http://localhost/8080/ you are using to access the tomcat page is wrong.
It should be http://localhost:8080. Please try.

Errror reading from remote server returned by /jenkins

I am using Jenkins and currently Jenkins is running fine in the background; however, when i am trying to access Jenkins using browser the homepage of Jenkins is not accessible. When I access it I get "Error reading from remote server ( 502 )". Has anyone encountered such an issue? What could be the workaround?
Try to remove proxy: export http_proxy="" && curl http://servername:portnumber/destinationpath/
or use https instead of http or vice-versa ( check which port is your jenkins running on )
Is it running on apache/nginx/whatever? Restart that. Restart Jenkins once more. Check the server configuration regarding those.
Did restart of iptables post which I have seen the issue to be resolved.
service iptables restart

(103) Software caused connection abort: proxy: pass request body failed

The following errors are being logged in our proxy Apache logs while processing the request with Tomcat Server:
(103)Software caused connection abort: proxy: pass request body failed
proxy: pass request body failed
We've a Apache reverse proxy which serves the request for the client from our Tomcat Server. Sometimes, the request from the proxy returns 502 with the above error. There are no error logs in Tomcat Server Logs correlated with the above errors in Proxy. Also, the request didn't timeout since some of the requests response time is 1 sec and our default timeout is 120 sec.
We've added ProxyBadHeader Ignore to our httpd configuration [Ref: 502 Proxy Error / Uploading from Apache (mod_proxy) to Tomcat 7] and still didn't see any errors in our Tomcat logs.
Have anyone seen this issue earlier?
We recently had this issue after upgrading one of our machines from Tomcat 6 to 7. Someone forgot to change the default apache-tomcat/conf/tomcat-users.xml file from our standard one and so the wrong password was getting checked by the server. Interestingly this results in the 502 Error you saw above. This can be avoided with some decent logging to determine it is actually an auth problem.

service httpd status shows Internal Server Error

I have a dedicated server. No PHP files were running when i use my website so i tried looking into the apache and used "service httpd status" to check apache status and this is what i am getting
