I am trying to get any visual studio 201x running on windows 10 .
My system is as follows.
Amd 955
Am3+ sabertooth mb
16 gb 1600 ram
250 gb hdd avl
Express 13 update 5 for desktop.
from web gets as far as install cannot continue because some components failed
Critical error fatsl error during installation
Warning windows sdk for windows store apps direct x x86 remote user cancelled instalation. (i didnt touch it)
Log error shows 0x80070642 six times in a row for ux aborted on dl progress
Ux aborted on cache progress
And then a few failed messages no interuption of my isp occurred please help.

I am trying to debug Blazor WebAssembly App with ASP.NET hosted (Just basic template app) in x86.
App is normally running in case I use x64 platform for debugging. But if I switch all projects (Server,Client and Shared) to x86, and I start debugging, application do not load. It freezes on 12 MB of process memory and then i will get error

I am testing this with basic template to limit inpact of my code. I need 32 bit app, because I need to get data from old ODBC driver that is only 32 bit.

If using x64 I can access web
If using x84 I receive following error

You are missing sdk 32 bit in your system.

Using Visual Studio 2019 16.8.5 - Installing the SDK 32 bit fixed it for me immediately. I tried installing the 64 bit SDK first assuming that would be correct for my system but I was wrong - you need the 32bit version.
PHP and apache run fine. But SQL service doesn't start. A dialogue box pops up with the message:
the application could not be started (0xc000007b)
I have already tried:
installing all the dll files
with admin mode
wamp 64 bit and 32 bit
visual c++ 2015 - 64 bit already installed
'important' instructions during installation are followed
Have you tried Compatibility for Win7 or Win8.
Also, Windows Updates went out just the other day. Have you tried uninstalling the Latest KB's from it and Reboot?
We are running QuickBooks Enterprise 7 (I know it is old and not supported). I have MS Access applications that are using the SDK (via VBA) to send transactions to QB. We have started upgrading computers to Windows 10. While QB works fine, the SDK is not. We are getting the error "Could not start QuickBooks". I need to get this fixed as it is a critical system. I have tried to upgrade the SDK to 13 but that didn't help either.
Here's the setup:
I'm trying to connect / deploy to a Motorola Windows Embedded Compact 7 device from VS 2008. The development machine VM is Windows XP (it has tools and SDKs going back to eVC3 on it that will not run on anything newer). It is therefore running ActiveSync as opposed to WMDC. Basic RAPI seems to be working as I can browse the device file system, ect via ActiveSync. This developemnt system works successfully with dozens of other devices, but this might be the first CE 7 device. And again, the error message was simply "The bootstrap could not be loaded".
I'd appreciate any tips on getting a successful connection to the CE 7 device working.
I had exactly the same problem. The solution for me was to install the SDK for the pda. Mine was MC32N0.

Actual error "The Windows Phone Emulator couldn't start because the hypervisor isn't running"
but according to the error i enable the Hyper -V option in term & features in Control panel and restart 2 to 3 times.
and i also do all of thing like checking bios that ENABLE the option virtualization and it is ON in my PC.
I also check core-info via checking Coreinfo.exe .

Last i check Hyper-V manager and i found no entry of any os,But installing first time visual studio 2012 i found the entry of emulator in that. But now i use the vs2013 Windows Phone SDK 8.0 with no entry in Hyper-V manager.

To run any Windows phone 8 you will need Windows 8 Pro on your computer. I guess thats what you are missing. You can check the full requirements list here
