Can't find ogg with PkgConfig - cmake

I'm trying to build secondlife viewer but fail on:
Building 'Second Life Test' Version 3.8.5.34241
-- Found PkgConfig: /usr/bin/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-pkg-config (found version "0.29")
-- checking for module 'ogg'
-- package 'ogg' not found
I've libogg installed: https://bpaste.net/show/c6d60173da44
full build log: https://bpaste.net/show/9b3ecbd254c4
pkg_check_modules soruce: https://bitbucket.org/lindenlab/viewer-release/src/dfd2e1723b72b62e8b6c3746fd5f7fbb1132f389/indra/cmake/Audio.cmake?at=default&fileviewer=file-view-default
full build log shows that I'm using USESYSTEMLIBS flag, that means that pkg_check_modules(OGG REQUIRED ogg) just doesn't find /usr/lib64/pkgconfig/ogg.pc with some reason...
What could cause such mysterious bug?
(here is CMakeOut log : https://bpaste.net/show/a2fc804afc73)
pkg-config --exists ogg --print-errors returns nothing

seems like just CMake doesn't work right -__-' https://github.com/Techwolf/techwolf-overlay/issues/2#issuecomment-144851500
This bug is in cmake 3.3.x, downgrade to 3.2.3-r1 will fix it
everything works with 3.2.3
-- checking for module 'ogg'
-- found ogg, version 1.3.2

Library not loaded: #rpath/libtbb.dylib in Prophet / Python

I'm on a Mac X1, Monterey.
I've installed prophet and run into this issue when trying to fit a model.
RuntimeError: Error during optimization: console log output:
dyld[90668]: Library not loaded: #rpath/libtbb.dylib
Referenced from: /Users/{username}/opt/anaconda3/lib/python3.9/site-packages/prophet/stan_model/prophet_model.bin
Reason: tried: '/private/var/folders/cd/dfrqgp4s4ll55cwb7rtgccbw0000gq/T/pip-install-rjpuj450/prophet_d7e4cce10e414c89a572fe3605ae9269/build/lib.macosx-11.1-arm64-cpython-39/prophet/stan_model/cmdstan-2.26.1/stan/lib/stan_math/lib/tbb/libtbb.dylib' (no such file), '/private/var/folders/cd/dfrqgp4s4ll55cwb7rtgccbw0000gq/T/pip-install-rjpuj450/prophet_d7e4cce10e414c89a572fe3605ae9269/build/lib.macosx-11.1-arm64-cpython-39/prophet/stan_model/cmdstan-2.26.1/stan/lib/stan_math/lib/tbb/libtbb.dylib' (no such file), '/usr/local/lib/libtbb.dylib' (no such file), '/usr/lib/libtbb.dylib' (no such file)
I know this has to do with the wrong paths being searched. I can find the dylib in
/Users/{user}/opt/anaconda3/lib/python3.9/site-packages/prophet/stan_model/cmdstan-2.26.1/stan/lib/stan_math/lib/tbb/
But, it seems prophet doesn't know to look there. I'm curious how I can update/fix either the rpath variable or find another solution?
I tried to create a symbolic link with sudo ln -s, but don't have permissions on the laptop.
TIA!
I got it to work on Apple Silicon (M1 Max in my case) by installing older versions of both pystan and prophet:
pip install pystan==2.19.1.1
pip install prophet==1.0
The other important piece of the puzzle is that you should use Python 3.8 to get it working.
Installing older versions of the libraries and using Python 3.8 are both talked about in issue #2002 on Github, but there's not really an explanation of the libtbb.dylib error message.

Missing protobuf configuration when installing via ue4-conan

I'm trying to get gRPC running in Unreal Engine 4, using the conan-ue4cli tool. I use the provided grpc-ue4 recipe linked here: https://github.com/adamrehn/ue4-conan-recipes/tree/master/grpc-ue4
While running ue4 conan build "grpc-ue4" an error is thrown "Could not find a package configuration file provided by "Protobuf""
Output:

I'm running Windows 10, UE4.27, python 3.7.8, cmake 3.21.3. I tried searching for the missing protobuf-config.cmake but it also can't be found in the conan or project folder.
Any suggestions or pointers where to look would be greatly appreciated.
The responsible conan-file is here: https://github.com/adamrehn/ue4-conan-recipes/tree/master/grpc-ue4/1.30.2
This got broken with commit 865c38e99f694e63fd109ae06423472ebb7885a3 (see: https://github.com/adamrehn/ue4-conan-recipes/pull/8)
Reverting this change solved it for me.
To manually fix this:
Go to C:\Users\USERNAME.conan\data\grpc-ue4\1.30.2\adamrehn\4.27\export\conanfile.py and in line 51 change:
"-DProtobuf_DIR=" + os.path.join(protobuf.rootpath, "lib/cmake/protobuf"),
to
"-DProtobuf_DIR=" + os.path.join(protobuf.rootpath, "cmake"),
Then you need to run the command with the --no-cache parameter (otherwise the recipe will be replaced again by the original)
ue4 conan build grpc-ue4 --no-cache

cygwin: diff.exe: error while loading shared libraries: cygsigsegv-2.dll

I installed the latest cygwin x86-64. I added diffutils to get the basic diff(1) linux command. When I now run it, I get:
diff.exe: error while loading shared libraries: cygsigsegv-2.dll
I did a search for the dll here, but there are zero matches, not found.
I then re-ran the installer and did a search in the installer search box on this dll, and nothing came up.
Can you please advise?
cygsigsegv-2.dll is part of package libsigsegv2, which is required by
diffutils:
# diffutils
sdesc: "A GNU collection of diff utilities"
category: Utils
requires: cygwin libiconv2 libintl8 libsigsegv2
Installing that package should fix the problem.

Problems in MPICH 3.1.3 installation in OSX 10.10 with ifort compiler and Xcode 6.1

I am trying to build mpich 3.1.3. in a Mac OSX 10.10 Yosemite with Xcode 6.1 and intel compilers icc and ifort version 15.0.0 20140716. I get an error when I am building the installation. The error is the following:
GEN lib/libpmpi.la
ifort: command line warning #10006: ignoring unknown option '-force_load,src/mpl/.libs/libmpl.a'
ifort: command line warning #10006: ignoring unknown option '-force_load,/Users/alejandrodelacallenegro/Downloads/mpich-3.1.3/src/openpa/src/.libs/libopa.a'
ifort: command line warning #10006: ignoring unknown option '-force_load,src/mpi/romio/.libs/libpromio.a'
/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/XcodeDefault.xctoolchain/usr/bin/ranlib: object: lib/.libs/libpmpi.a(initthread.o) malformed object (section contents at offset 0 with a size of 1056, overlaps Mach-O headers at offset 0 with a size of 768)
I do not understand where the error come from, from the compiler or from libtool. I have also attached the outputs of the configuration and the build steps.
I finally found the cause of the problem. libtool was somehow corrupted, so I install it again, and then I don't get this error anymore. I have install Xcode again, but I suppose that installing it from macports, homebrew or from source solves the problem as well.

What (if any) path for OpenNI should show up in environmental variables

I recently had it pointed out to me that I might have OpenNI installed correctly but PCL is unable to access it. I've been trying to use various packages with the Kinect and when cmake compiling I always encounter the same error:

-- package 'openni-dev' not found
-- Could NOT find openni (missing: OPENNI_INCLUDE_DIRS)
** WARNING ** io features related to openni will be disabled
I used printenv and received this output:

Does anyone have any ideas? Is this potentially a path issue?
It seems you have installed OpenNI into some non-standard ocation, that's why CMake can't locate it. Help it by setting CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH to the dir where OpenNI's include/ is located.
