Does anybody know how to get the green add symbol below as NSImage? I want to place it with the standard cursor over a desktop screenshot.
I don't find it at CoreServices (/System/Library/CoreServices/CoreTypes.bundle/Contents/Resources/).
Thank you.
I quickly googled the location of cursers in OS X and found the solution here.
Use Finders Go to Folder function and paste the following path:
/System/Library/Frameworks/ApplicationServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/HiServices.framework/Versions/A/Resources/cursors
There you will find a bunch of folders, the one you are looking for is the copy folder. Inside, you will find the curser as a vector based PDF.

Is there any extension available that has the ability to automatically fold possible code fragments like a switch when there is a certain comment in the appropriate line?
I think that one is exactly what you are looking for:

Actually I got a pdf file today and it's contents are a mess, and the file is way too huge to go through page-by-page to find the required data, is there anyway I can edit the content like:
Chapter - 1
Be sure to check this page!

or even like the following would work:
Chapter - 1
Chapter - 2
please help me out
Do you mean you want to edit the title of the contents highlighted in the picture below?
If yes, it is not possible to edit those contents for a PDF file using the Edge browser.
We can only use the options mentioned in the picture below to draw or highlight something on the PDF file. We can use an eraser to remove the drew or highlighted part. [Note: We cant use these options for the table of contents.]

I've got the solution for anyone having the same problem as mine, to edit, merge, or split pdfs anyone can consider using 'Wondershare PDFelement' it's a really cool app with tons of features that I found out while searching for solutions for my problem. The app has a really cool interface and you can add, edit or delete bookmarks and save the changes. The free version has limited features and also leaves a watermark but I am ok with it, however you can always buy the pro version.
Thanks.
not very good at VBA, just in the basics so got stuck at below idea.
I want a VBA to create a MapInfo Tab file and points with Legend from a table in excel with given coordinates and legend based on another column.
searched a lot online, but couldn't find more than the below.
CreateObject("MapInfo.Application")
Please guide me to accomplish this.
Thanks
There are two ways of doing this.
First option is to open MapInfo application (with CreateObject("MapInfo.Application")) and create TAB file there. However, this would be basically to write an MapBasic program, VBA would be only used to start MapInfo.
The second options is to create a MIF/MID file. These are two plain text files which can be imported into MapInfo. At this page Pitney Bowes states "We do publish the MapInfo Interchange Format (MIF\MID) files in our documentation", however you find it in Chapter 13 at normal MapInfo User Guide.
I would recommend the second option. Creating two plain text files in VBA should be feasible. A good starting point would be to create a TAB file manually and export this TAB file as MIF/MID, then you have a valid example file.
What I am ultimately trying to do is to create a grid of images for print that are minor variations of the same thing (different text is all). Looking through online resources I was able to create a script that changes the text and exports all of the images necessary (several hundred). What I am trying to do now is to import all of these images into a new photoshop document and lay them all out in a grid and I can't seem to find any examples of this.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to place a file at a specific coordinate (I'm using CS5 and have the design suite so if there is a way in illustrator to do this quickly...)?
Also, I'm open to other ideas on how to do this (even other programs) easily. It's for labels so the positioning on the sheet has to be pretty precise...
The art layer object has a translate() method that takes delta x and y params. You'll need to open each image, copy it to the target document, get its current location (using artLayer.bounds) and do the math to find the deltas to position it where you want it. Your deltas can be in pixels so you'll get plenty of precision.
Check out your 'JavaScript Scripting Reference' pdf in your Adobe install directory for more details.
Ok I'm marking Anna's response as the answer because though I didn't fully test it, it seems like it should work and answers the original question with jsx. However I'm also leaving my final solution in case anyone else runs across this with the same issue and may prefer this method as well.
What I ended up doing instead is using InDesign. I figured out that it has a grid option that lets you import a number of files and place them all in an equal grid in a single command. This is almost exactly what I was looking for, except that it leaves a small border/margin in between the columns and grids and mine were designed to meet exactly.
I couldn't figure out how to make it not have the border (I have very little experience with InDesign, it may be possible). However I was able to select all my images and scale them uniformly to be the correct size, then I just selected each column and dragged it over to snap to the adjacent column and the same with rows...
I'm trying to figure out how to transfer the templates in the /.IdeaC10/config/templates/user.xml file to my coworker's machines.
If I copy into the user.xml file, then those changes seem to be getting squashed by Intellij, reverting to the old file contents.
Anyone know how to work around this?
EDIT:
Is there any way to do this by copying and pasting the xml? That would be preferrable...!
Use File | Imprort/Export Settings.
An improved and easier way
This allows you to share them easily between collegues.
You can select multiple live templates and then copy them (right click and select copy, or ctrl+c). This gives you XML-descriptions in your clipboard you can send to others.
Other can then take that XML, and paste it into a "Template Group". Right click one of the groups and select Paste. If the option is greyed out, you didn't select a group but something else.
If you have Settings Repository set you may find your Live Templates stored in
<your_user_home_directory>\
.IntelliJIdea<version>\
config\
settingsRepository\
repository\
templates
the technique of copying and pasting the xml file on another computer in the correct directory, function perfectly for me! But the name of my template file is android.xml for my Android developments. Maybe the file name "user" is protected. Try maybe with a different file name
You need to create the required custom template groups and update the relevant predefined groups as necessary and click OK. Based on these changes, IntelliJ IDEA generates the <group_name>.xml files, see Location of Custom Live Templates Definitions above.
Depending on the operating system you are using, the .xml files are stored at the following locations:
Windows: <your_user_home_directory>.IntelliJ IDEA<version_number>\config\templates
Linux: ~IntelliJ IDEA<version>\config\templates
OS X: ~/Library/Preferences/IntelliJ IDEA<version>/templates
Refer to Intellij Help article.
