Customize existing menu/toolbar Item - netbeans-8

I am building a netbeans platform application. This application is project based. I need to customize existing menu/toolbar items.
For instance, when a java project is selected, the "New File" button on the toolbar brings a standard wizard. But when a custom project (my project type) is selected, I would like that same button to bring my own dialog/wizard.
How do I achieve this?
I have been struggling with this for quite some time, any pointer would be greatly appreciated.

Using file templates in IntelliJ

I'm quite confused when it comes to file templates in IntelliJ. Basically, when I right click anything and hover my mouse over to New, I can see the usual file templates like Java Class, HTML File and so on. I downloaded Scala plugin and I can see Scala templates (Scala Class, Scala Object, etc.) if I go to Edit File Templates, but I can't actually use/see them in the New menu. Is there a way to modify what I see in the New menu? I'd like to be able to create Scala classes.
Go to Settings -> Menus and Toolbars
There you will see many type of menus. You need edit the menu you want the files to be displayed. Most Probably "Project View Popup Menu".
Click on "Add After" button on right. There you choose the file form plug-ins or other category to be displayed.
I added "Show Bytecode" to meny well it does not make sense here. You can add files from scala plugin like that.
You can restore to Defaults if you mess up easily by clicking on
"Restore All Defaults" button.

Using a 3rd party control

Please excuse the noobness that is probably about to follow...
I'm making an vb.net 2010 app which needs to have a calendar system in which the user can add appointments and events etc.
I've downloaded the source for a control which looks promising (http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/10840/Another-Month-Calendar) but I have no idea how to add this in to my project. I've googled for help on adding the control but have had no luck.
If I right click on my toolbox, go 'choose items...' and try and add it there, it tells me it couldnt be opened.
Any help is appreciated!
Well you've downloaded the source code.
Place the source code in a specific location on your pc and then compile it 9If your planning to use this control in your own project then compile it in release mode. Assuming that there are no compile errors close visual studio and then open up the project of your own that you want to use this control in.
Right click on the general tab in the toolbox and click choose items. Using the bowse button in the choose items dialog navigate to the folder in which you placed the source code for the control you want to use.
Now locate the 'Bin' folder and in that locate the 'release' folder. Inside that you will see a dll (named presumably something like MothCalendar.dll. Select that dll and then click add and OK (Button sequence will vary according to vs version). The control should then appear in your toolbox under the general tab and you should then be able to drag it onto your forms for use in your project.

Can't find the workflow source code of a list or library on SharePoint Designer

I'm new using SharePoint. I am having trouble with find the code or workflow structure of a list or a library. In the left menu i can see the "Workflows" button but all workflows are not there.
There is a workflow section In the "List and libraries" view showing the running workflows in these list, but when i click on one of them it just move me to its settings in the browser and no to the structure or code that is what i'm looking for.
Is there a way to find the code or structure of my running workflows?
PD: I am working in place of the previous developer who build the entire site, however, he didn't show me anything about.
Thanks.
If these are workflows created using SharePoint Designer then:
Open SharePoint Designer
Open the site
Click on Lists and Libraries
Click on the list name
There will be a heading titled "Workflows"
Click on the workflow you are wanting to look at
Click "Edit Workflow" to view it
Go From there
If you are wanting to see the status of a workflow in regards to the item:
Go to the list
I recommend creating a personal view (so only you see it)
You can select the fields you are interested in and each workflow should have a column in the list associated with it. Include the column in your view
Go to your new view and you can click on the link to view the current status of the workflow
Go to All Files > Workflows Folder. Then select the workflow you want to work with. Right Click on the "xoml" file then select "Open With" > "SharePoint Designer (open as workflow)"
Once it's opened, published it again. Then it will show up again in the Workflow tab.
The workflow was a visual studio sequential workflow deployed in the site as a feature. It was not a SharePoint Designer one. Thanks

eclipse menu contribution

I want to add a menu to the eclipse menubar in a RCP application and that menu will be shown active based on some condition(e.g return value of some method) in Java code .Please let me know how can I do it.
Here you find some short examples. Maybe that is enough to give you an idea.
A menu can not be enabled/disabled directly based on an expression - that is only possible for the menu items themselves.
To enable/disable a menu item, have a look at Command Core Expressions in the Eclipse Wiki...

Editor context Menu - Eclipse-RCP

I have an Eclipse RCP application. I have created an Editor. There are few context menu (default), when I right click on the Editor. I have not created these menus.
Please let me know, How to remove the context menu of the Editor?
It needs different approach by which editor you extends.
Let me know What you extends, than I can answer more efficient one.
In general way:
IWorkbenchParSite#registerContextMenu(...) will be used, So find where calls that, override it. It is not recommend. Because by doing this, Menu Extensions which is contributed for your editor will not work anymore.
If you mean the system menu that appears on editor tabs and view tabs, that menu is provided by the presentation (2.1, Classic, Default, etc). There is no tweak to simply modify it.
The 2 ways to remove it would be:
write your own presentation, using
the
org.eclipse.ui.presentations.StackPresentation
API and matching extension point.
Writing a presentation is a involved
undertaking.
Change the internal classes in the
org.eclipse.ui.workbench plugin
and patch that plugin in your RCP
app.
If you use Text or StyleText you will get the system default menu (cut, copy, paste, maybe something about encoding or input). If you are not going to supply your own menu, simply create an empty SWT Menu and set it:
Menu emptyMenu = new Menu(text);
text.setMenu(emptyMenu);
Eclipse also has a text editing framework, if you need more than a basic text box you should check it out. http://wiki.eclipse.org/The_Official_Eclipse_FAQs#Text_Editors
