SP2010 Migration - A feature with ID 14/5c935448-ed11-4bae-bfff-ef8b307f38ac has already been installed in this farm - sharepoint-2010

I am attempting a migration of SP2010 to SP2013, so far what I have accomplished is below:
1) created a backup of the contentDB from SP2010 and restored it on to SP2013
2) Added all the wsp's exported from SP2010 solution store to SP2013 soltuion store.
3) When I try to deploy a solution I get a error message saying "A feature with ID 14/5c935448-ed11-4bae-bfff-ef8b307f38ac has already been installed in this farm. Use the force attribute to explicitly re-install the feature."
most of them suggest to turn on force attribute on the feature and then do the deployment in my case I do not have code for the wsp, so unable to recompile them to turn on the force attribute.
Have used the featureadmin for SP2013 it does not find any faulty feature in the farm, it doesnot list any feature with Id 5c935448-ed11-4bae-bfff-ef8b307f38ac.
Executing select fullurl, description from features join AllWebs on
(features.webid = AllWebs.id) where featureid = '5c935448-ed11-4bae-bfff-ef8b307f38ac' lists rows of data from db but I can't find the feature folder on 14/15 hive.
Stuck at the moment trying to find a way to get the solutions deployed and perform the db upgrade. Any pointers welcome.
Thanks in advance.

You can define -force with power shell command as well.

Salam Santhosh
I face this problem before , and I resolved by adding the AlwaysForceInstall="TRUE" to the feature.xml for the WSP, after that I went to the central admin and I do uninstall and re-install to the WSP, after that you can activate the feature using STSADM or powershell normally
this is an example of the feature

How to perform Mongodb CDC using wso2 streaming integrator?

I'm so confused I don't know how to perform mongo cdc with wso2 streaming integrator. I set up a mongo replicaset follow this doc. I config cdc source like below,
but it doesn't work, I got these error logs . Can any one help me to fix this? Thanks in advance.
It seems like an issue with the extension installer script of the WSO2 SI. The mongo_java_driver is actually a bundled jar and due to that it should not be converted again into a bundle.
So to fix your problem, Follow the below steps,
Step 1- Uninstall the installed MongoDB jar.
Step 2- Go to WSO2SI_HOME/wso2/server/resources/extensionsInstaller folder and open the extensionDependencies.json file.
Step 3- Search for "name": "mongo-java-driver" and under the configurations usage type from "JAR" to "BUNDLE".
Step 4- reinstall the MongoDB extension via extension installer
This will solve your problem.
Have you copy the mongo-java-driver to <PRODUCT_HOME>/lib directory? it seems like the cdc extension couldn't locate the mongodb drivers

Sitecore databases missing after SIFLess install

I am using SIFLess to install Sitecore 9.1 Update 1 on my local machine in order to get started with development with my team. However, the install is not creating certain databases on my system that are needed to get up and running, most notably the Reporting database. This of course causes problems when I deploy code from my team's repo to my local instance as it references these databases. I see that the SIFLess-generated PowerShell script has calls to a 'RemoveDatabase' function that references these databases in the uninstall method, but no code to create them in the first place during an install. The missing databases are:
MarketingAutomation
Messaging
Processing.Pools
ProcessingEngineStorage
ProcessingEngineTasks
ReferenceData
Reporting
Xdb.Collection.Shard0 and 1
Xdb.Collection.ShardMapManager
These are what I have gleaned from the uninstall logic in the PowerShell script generated by SIFLess. Again, no logic exists to create them in the first place in the install section. My team members all have these databases on their systems. What am I doing wrong? I am a Sitecore novice here.
Please make sure you are using the good package. You have to download the XP package, not XM. (Just to be sure here). Afterwards, the Database installation are done with DacPac found within the Sitecore Web Deploy Package ( *.scwdp).
Please, also make sure that within this scdwp you can see (can double click or extract) the database missing :
MarketingAutomation
Messaging
Processing.Pools
ProcessingEngineStorage
ProcessingEngineTasks
ReferenceData
And do the same with the xConnect SCWDP, and make sure you see the databse missing there :
Xdb.Collection.Shard0
Xdb.Collection.Shard1
Reporting
Sometimes, if you have tried the installation script more than once, you can have some undesired behavior. You are possibly trying to go forward with the wrong certificates. Also, some services were actually created on previous installation attempts.
Here is what I think should help you get through.
Clean your workspace
Remove your databases that are related to the installation if exists.
Remove your certificates (using certlm -> you can type in your windows search bar "cert" and then you should be able to pick "Manage computer Certificate".
On the left sidebar, Click on Personal > Certificates.
Remove your installation-related certificates
nameOfYourInstallation.identityserver
nameOfYourInstallation.sc
nameOfYourInstallation.xconnect
Open your Windows Services Manager (you can type in your windows search bar "services" and select the services app)
You should be able to see those services :
Sitecore Marketing Automation Engine - nameOfYourInstallation(might be one of your previous install)
Sitecore Processing Engine - nameOfYourInstallation
Sitecore XConnect Search Indexer - nameOfYourInstallation.
Write those down. Keep your service app open.
Using NSSM (probably installed already from some of your previous installed, if not, can use chocolatey ( https://chocolatey.org/packages/NSSM ) remove those services.
in a cmd : nssm remove serviceName
Note that you can remove them by right clicking etc. I just prefer the nssm way.
When its done, restart your computer (some services and in a state of removal, that needs a restart to be completely removed)
Try to install again.
Hope it helps, cheers !

USQL Unit testing with ADL tools for VS 2017 - Error after upgrading to 2.3.4000.x

One of the team member after upgrading the ADL tools for VS to version 2.3.4000.x, getting the below error..
Error : (-1,-1) 'E_CSC_SYSTEM_INTERNAL: Internal error!
The ObjectManager found an invalid number of fixups.
This usually indicates a problem in the Formatter.'
Compile failed!
Tried to downgrade back to version ( 2.3.3000.2 ), it didn't help much.
If encountered similar issue, found the reason and resolved it, please share it.
After trying out few unsuccessful options, decided to clean up the files in USQLDataRoot including localrunmetadata and catalog folder. Still, when I submit a job to create a database, there was no error, but it didn’t create the database.
We had some powershell scripts to setup the database and other objects. Ran the powershell script, which created the database and procedures. Then we were able to run the tests successfully. One more thing to double check, make sure build platform is set to “x64”.

Updating Data-Tier Application version via SqlPackage.exe

I am currently automating the deployment of my applications database via command line using SqlPackage.exe, but unable to find a way to update the version of my Data-Tier Application
(Development, of course...)
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh550080%28v=vs.103%29.aspx
I am using the /Action:Publish to push my newly built *.dacpac, but version always remains at v1.0.0.0, if this is not possible? How about how to change an ExtendedProperty?
I just want to have a reference to what version is installed by looking at the database.
Any Ideas?
Including
/p:RegisterDataTierApplication=true
as part of the command line is what worked for me to have SqlPackage.exe update the version stored in data-tier metadata with the version of the DACPAC being published.
In my testing, I've found that setting RegisterDataTierApplication to true is performing an upgrade if the target database is already registered. Essentially, this property tells SqlPackage.exe that the DACPAC should be published as a data-tier package, as opposed to just publishing any changed objects (and therefore causing drift).
So, the full command that I use is
SqlPackage.exe /a:publish /tcs:<target connection string> /sf:<DACPAC file path> /p:RegisterDataTierApplication=true /p:BlockWhenDriftDetected=false
(I found that I had to include /p:BlockWhenDriftDetected=false because SqlPackage.exe was returning an error that it detected drift, even though /a:deployreport did not report any drift.)
On your database project go to project settings, there is a section Output types, click on the properties button below "Data-tier Application (.dacpac) file):
In this dialog you can set the version number that then gets deployed, you can then query this information from:
SELECT TOP 1000 [instance_id]
,[instance_name]
,[type_name]
,[type_version]
,[description]
,[type_stream]
,[date_created]
,[created_by]
,[database_name]
FROM [msdb].[dbo].[sysdac_instances]

Build Fail : aspnet_client\system_web\4_0_30319

I have a build step that is part of my deployment configuration. My coworker told me it had worked once in a blue moon
I kept on getting this error consistently when I ran this build step:
Deleting dirPath (qa.comedy.net\aspnet_client\system_web\4_0_30319). [15:22:22]:
[VSMSDeploy] C:\Program Files (x86)\MSBuild\Microsoft\VisualStudio\v10.\We
\Microsoft.Web.Publishing.targets(3588, 5): Web deployment task failed.((3/28/2012 3:22:22 PM) An error occurred when the request was processed on the remote computer.)
Attempt to perform an unauthorized operation on file '4_0_30319'.
It seems that it is trying to delete the folder
aspnet_client\system_web\4_0_30319 , but has no permission to.
we run this build on a virtual machine.
Any suggestions on how to resolve this?
All help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
I had this issue deploying as site with msdeploy and teamcity. I resolved it by deleteing these folders from my website aspnet_client\system_web\4_0_30319
Yes you can delete this folder and the next deploy will work, but with the next windows update that runs the asp.net registration tool as part of it's install will add this folder back to all asp.net sites on IIS (with the incorrect permissions) - so your deployment will fail again. You can avoid this by
Giving the deploy user elevated privileges (not a great solution for
obvious reasons)
Add the folder structure to your SC so it gets
deployed instead of the deployment trying to delete it (not ideal, but easiest)
Stop automatic windows updates (not sensible)
You might be able to do
something like this
http://blog.richardszalay.com/2012/12/18/demystifying-msdeploy-skip-rules/
to ignore the folder in deployment (I've not tried this)
As MemeDeveloper mentions in their answer, one way to fix this is to simply ignore that directory. Indeed, this is the easiest fix and doesn't require adding anything to your source control repository or build output. Just add the following to your msdeploy.exe command:
-skip:Directory="aspnet_client"
I wasn’t using TeamCity but I think I also had this issue. I was trying to deploy to Discount ASP.NET using VS2010 WebDeploy. After reading what doglin and Dan posted, I found I could workaround this problem by checking the “Leave extra files on destination (do not delete)” box. That may not be an option for everyone but it worked for me.
I faced the same problem during WebDeploy in TeamCity. I end up elevating privileges for WebDeploy account under which I do WebDeploy task. So the account have enough power to delete those folder (local admin role).
