I made software to access and read smart card from card reader.
When software is organized as a desktop application it works perfect, but I need it to work as CGI.
I am using lazarus, and in execution process I am receiving error code:-2146435043
as the card smart resource manager is not running.
Any suggestion.
Thanks in advance

So, my knowladge in embedded development is quite bad and now I am trying to receive some data from PC inside my MCu STM32F429IGT6 which is on WaveShare Core4X9I dev-board and send it back via USB Virtual COM Port.
I realized how to set up connection from MCu part and I even see connected device from Windows 10 Device Manager but... it appears as STM Device in DFU Mode
I have tryed already to install drivers from ST for such things but they are useless and official documentation says that they are not needed for Windows 10.
I have been following tutorials where guys just clicked several times inside Cube MX, generated code and VCP worked out of the box.
The question is what am I doing wrong? I don`t even know what information you might ask for thats why I created GitHub repo: https://github.com/dessy4oko/stm32f429-vcp-appears-as-dfu
And this is events from Device Manager of Windows 10 (translation from ru lang):
Device USB\VID_0483&PID_DF11\305233703237 is running. code 410
Device USB\VID_0483&PID_DF11\305233703237 is configured. code 400
Device USB\VID_0483&PID_DF11\305233703237 have not been moved due to partial or ambiguous matching. code 442
Device USB\VID_0483&PID_DF11\305233703237 requires further installation. code 430
Thank you for any information about my mistakes.
STM32 starts in DFU mode if BOOT-pins are pulled accordingly:
"System memory" means embedded bootloader, DFU in this case. You need "Main Flash" to run your app.
Check jumpers and switches on your board. Refer also to the AN2606 app note for complete information.
Here's what I want to be able to do:
Run a program on my local computer which logs in to a citrix server (using citrix receiver or doing so in a similar way), on the server in the citrix session open a web browser, load a website, and then bring the html of that site back out of the citrix session and onto my local computer. Bascially I want to get data out of a citrix remote session.
How can I do this programmatically?
I'm fine with whatever programming language/modality you are comfortable in answering the question using.
I've looked a little into the citrix apis but while I find some things about logging in and even sending keystrokes and mouse clicks I found nothing about obtaining data. I could just log in and then use a program like wireshark to get the information, but I'm guessing it's all encrypted (plus then I wouldn't be doing my task all programmatically). I know of at least one open source program which seems to be able to replace a citrix reciever/client (openthinclient.org) but before I got digging through all its source code to try to answer my question I thought I'd ask here in case someone had an easier answer.
If all you want is to automate the task, is having the program act as a citrix client necessary?
I assume you don't have install privileges inside your citrix session, so are unable to install one of the many automation tools available (such as http://docs.seleniumhq.org/)?
Given the above...
If you have/allow java on your local machine, have a look at http://www.sikuli.org/
The main difference between this and other automation tools I've come across is that Sikuli uses the image on screen to navigate the gui, rather than grabbing calls to the widgets (which wont work in a citrix session).
So, assuming you can take a screenshot of your citrix session, it could be useful to you.
I am trying to develop a basic app in Visual Studio that does a simple video chat with another person. Everything was working fine and I was able to successfully open a video chat. However, I have installed Lync with UI Supression, and the app will not run. Examining the InnerException I can see that the program is throwing a COMException "Exception from HRESULT: 0x80C8000B"
Via process of elimination I have found that commenting out the line auto = LyncClient.getAutomation() lets the app run, though the functionality of the app is gone.
After all my searching online I cant determine what could be causing this line to break it, and I know I need that line of code in order to move forward.
Automation is not available to you when running in UI Suppression Mode.
Suppression mode requires that Lync be installed on the client's machine, but you then need to use the Lync SDK to do a lot of the things that the client does for you, such as signing in (no trivial matter). However, the Automation section of the SDK is the link to the standard Lync UI, which is why it is unavailable to you.
You also don't have access to any of the UI controls that make up the Lync client ... with the exception of the VideoWindow control - which will most probably be useful to you.
There's a good article on understanding UI Suppression Mode here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh345230.aspx
Also, a great sample of how to sign in to Lync when using UI Suppression Mode: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh378603.aspx
One more thing: if you have access to it, in this book on Lync chapter 5 actually has an end-to-end example of producing a UI Suppression AV kiosk app in WPF - which might be exactly what you're looking for.
Forgive me for what may seem as a stupid question but, after some rummaging around on the web, I can't seem to find how to test my Windows Phone Application. I'm not referring to the guidelines, I'm actually referring to sending it to Microsoft for them to check if it's "okay" or checking it on Visual Studio as I think there is a way of doing that in VS.
Any help is highly appreciated.
Thank you.
This should help. Keep in mind that before you send it to microsoft (or appHub) your app needs to be fairly perfect. Submissions aren't free :)
edit: this is assuming you were asking how to submit it for review. When you submit your app, the review process starts.
For app testing you need the sdk... With the sdk you have a perfect emulator for test your apps. For app deploy on your device, after you've bougth the annual subscription to be a developer, you have to associate your phone and install zune on your pc (read here).
After you tests you can submit your app through this process (read here).
I'm a C programmer and a total newbie to Flash/video/web world. Don't know where/how to start, and so would greatly appreciate your initial help.
Question
If I need to host flash videos off of my website (instead of embedding YouTube links on my webpages),
AND
If I need to provide player API like YouTube's that can be used, say, for supporting chromeless player versions customizable via this custom API of mine...
THEN
What do I need to do essentially...?
Write a custom Flash video player?
If yes, how? I mean, using which Adobe products / tools / SDKs / language(s)?
Is there anything free/opensource available for doing this? Especially, for Linux platform?
Write a new browser (firefox) plugin for users visiting my site?
Not sure how my custom Flash video player will get to the user visiting my site for the first time?
Any books, resources that cover this problem well?
Does the Flash content need to hosted off of a Windows server only?
Currently lost. Thanks in advance,
/SD
Flash has video playback support built-in, so all you need to do is use the Flash authoring environment or Flex to compile a .SWF file that uses the video API, with some buttons to stop and start the stream, volume, seeking, anything else you want your player to do.
Many people have already done this for you, in a way you can easily use from simple HTML. See eg. OSFLV, Flowplayer, JW...
Write a new browser (firefox) plugin for users visiting my site? Does the Flash content need to hosted off of a Windows server only?
Lord no! Flash video would never have taken off if it was just another custom-server+custom-plugin piece of unpleasantness. Though special streaming servers are possible, for the most part it's just an FLV file sitting on a web server.
(FLV is the video format supported by the Flash video playing functions. There are many, many tools you can use to convert other formats to it; I use Avidemux.)
If you are planning to use a "Progressive Download" approach, then your FLV files can be hosted on a Windows or a Linux box. Be aware that:
it is no as efficient as true
streaming.
you may not use it for live events
nor only for stored video files.
it cannot automatically detect the
end user's connection speed.
it is not possible to jump ahead to
another part while it's downloaded.
the video file will be saved on the
end user's computer.
If you are planning to use a "Streaming" approach then you can either buy and use Adobe's solution (Flash Media Server, available on both Windows and Linux box) or sign up for a hosted solution. On this page you will find recommended providers by Adobe. I personally have been using Influxis's hosting with success for a couple of years already.
You can also write your own streaming server but that would be a lot of hard work. If you are interested in that, I would recommend you have a look a Red5 which is an open source Flash Server written in Java.
