There is a client which is implemented in Nodejs. I wand to send post request to Apache HTTP server and then that request is to be forwarded to back end server(It locates at somewhere else).
So I implemented Node js client and Apache module. Request and response between those two are ok. Now my problem is how to forward this request from Apache HTTP server to back end server.
Nodejs client.js
var request = require('request');
var userDetails={
username:"username",
password:"abc123"
}
var optsSingup = {
url: "http://localhost:80/a",
method: "POST",
headers: {
"Content-Type": "application/x-www-form-urlencoded"
},
form:{
username:userDetails.username,
password:userDetails.password,
}
};
request(optsSingup, function (err, res, body) {
console.log('error', err);
//console.log('status', res.statusCode);
console.log('body', body);
});
Apache module (I've been following this tutorial http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.4/developer/modguide.html example mod_example_config.c). Here I will share handler part of my module. Others parts are same as mod_example_config.c.
typedef struct {
const char* key;
const char* value;
} keyValuePair;
static int example_handler(request_rec *r)
{
formData = readPost(r);
if (formData) {
int i;
for (i = 0; &formData[i]; i++) {
if (formData[i].key && formData[i].value) {
ap_rprintf(r, "%s = %s\n", formData[i].key, formData[i].value);
} else if (formData[i].key) {
ap_rprintf(r, "%s\n", formData[i].key);
} else if (formData[i].value) {
ap_rprintf(r, "= %s\n", formData[i].value);
} else {
break;
}
}
}
return OK;
}
keyValuePair* readPost(request_rec* r) {
apr_array_header_t *pairs = NULL;
apr_off_t len;
apr_size_t size;
int res;
int i = 0;
char *buffer;
keyValuePair* kvp;
res = ap_parse_form_data(r, NULL, &pairs, -1, HUGE_STRING_LEN);
if (res != OK || !pairs) return NULL;
kvp = apr_pcalloc(r->pool, sizeof(keyValuePair) * (pairs->nelts + 1));
while (pairs && !apr_is_empty_array(pairs)) {
ap_form_pair_t *pair = (ap_form_pair_t *) apr_array_pop(pairs);
apr_brigade_length(pair->value, 1, &len);
size = (apr_size_t) len;
buffer = apr_palloc(r->pool, size + 1);
apr_brigade_flatten(pair->value, buffer, &size);
buffer[len] = 0;
kvp[i].key = apr_pstrdup(r->pool, pair->name);
kvp[i].value = buffer;
i++;
}
return kvp;
}
Actually this is not the proper way to do this. Please see the answer in this question How to set a Set Handler for proxy request

LWIP CGI on STM32 web server application cgi callback is receiving on CGI handler properly but the handler return the html page tag name , instead of that how could we send a requested data from web the cgi handler is as below
const char *CGIsetting_Handler(int iIndex, int iNumParams, char *pcParam[], char *pcValue[])
{
if (iIndex == 1)
{
}
return "/index.html";
}
Instead of this how send a data the html
webpage is expecting data as below
var xhttp = new XMLHttpRequest();
xhttp.onreadystatechange = function () {
if (this.readyState == 4) {
if (this.status == 200) {
console.log(JSON.parse(this.responseText));
document.getElementById("infoDesc").innerHTML = JSON.parse(this.responseText).Description;
document.getElementById("infoSerial").innerHTML = JSON.parse(this.responseText).Serial_Number;
document.getElementById("infoTag").innerHTML = JSON.parse(this.responseText).Device_Tag;
document.getElementById("infoContact").innerHTML = JSON.parse(this.responseText).Contact;
document.getElementById("infoVersion").innerHTML = JSON.parse(this.responseText).Firmware_Version;
} else {
console.log("response ", this.status);
}
}
};
xhttp.open("GET", "getSystemSettings.cgi", true);
xhttp.send();
On const char *CGIsetting_Handler(int iIndex, int iNumParams, char *pcParam[], char *pcValue[])
you can return like
return "/logList.json";
But then you should provide some data in
int fs_open_custom(struct fs_file *file, const char *name){
if (!strcmp(name, "/logList.json")) {
memset(file, 0, sizeof(struct fs_file));
file->pextension = (void *)&generated_logfile;
if (file->pextension != NULL)
{
int result;
result = generate_json_logfile(file);
if (result < 0)
{
return 0;
}
// 0 - 404
// 1 - 200
return 1;}}}
In my case generate_json_logfile is static char buffer which filled with formatted output. If you put correct json data in that buffer it would be enough for browser.

If a website needs to display in real time or so graph the up and down graphs of stocks. They will think of programming so that the browser regularly sends requests to get the latest stock prices from the web server -> Pooling mechanism. If the number of browsers simultaneously accessing thousands, the web server will have to work very hard even if only a few stocks change points, but still have to reply and send back all the stocks. . Instead of letting the client ask the server (pooling) continuously blindly. Why not let the server, if there are changes, will report back to the client, and will only send the necessary data for the client to process (notification)

If you're getting this error "Failed to load script file 'login.js': SyntaxError: Unexpected token }" as seen in the comments, there is a syntax issue with your script. You'll need to go through your scripts and figure out where the issue is at.
I've been trying to get this works, but I don't know what's wrong, can you guys help me? I tried WebRTC code with modification like this.
Both caller and callee enter the web
Web will create channel based on their username
Caller clicks the call button and sends message to spesific channel to some user's username. When caller clicks the call button, he then creates peerConnection and adds localStream
Callee will receive message, and the process goes on like WebRTC sample code. When callee receives an offer, he then creates peerConnection and adds localStream, then creates and sends answer
My code goes like this
var my_username = '{{ current_username }}';
var friend;
var localVideo;
var remoteVideo;
var localStream;
var remoteStream;
var channel;
var channelReady = false;
var pc;

When it comes to waitForRemoteVideo, the function calls the else condition. But the blob url for remoteVideo exists.
It's funny that I've been searching for the error and re-writing the code for like three times, and suddenly after posted my question here, I realized my mistake.
Here in the function processSignallingMessage..
if (data_message.type === 'offer') {
// Callee creates PeerConnection
if (!started)
maybeStart();
pc.setRemoteDescription(new RTCSessionDescription(data_message));
friend = send_info.from;
doAnswer();
} else ....
Should be like this:
if (data_message.type === 'offer') {
friend = send_info.from;
// Callee creates PeerConnection
if (!started)
maybeStart();
pc.setRemoteDescription(new RTCSessionDescription(data_message));
doAnswer();
} else ....
because callee need variable friend to be filled before sending candidate message.
