I have a MapServer Service published in ArcGis For Server. I want to add a new Layer to this Service. how can I do it?

You'll need to republish the service using ArcGIS for Desktop if you want to add new layers to an existing service. For details, see the documentation: Overwriting a service in ArcGIS for Desktop
Another option is to publish a second service with the new layer and then use both services in your application.

I am trying to add an ASP.NET 4.x app hosted externally (using AWS Elastic Beanstalk) into the Service-registry of an existing PCF.

Assuming you have network connectivity in all directions between apps in PCF and the external app, yes this should be quite possible.
However, if you're using Spring Cloud Eureka, your externally-hosted app will need to get valid OAuth credentials so that it can authenticate prior to registering.
The comment by Daniel Mikusa is very appropriate for how I achieved this.
For Pivotal SCS, you would want to create a service instance (if you
don't have one already), then create a service key for your external
app. That will give you all of the binding info/creds you need to
connect from your remote service. A service key is the same as binding
a service to an app, except it's not tied to an app so it works well
for situations like this. Just give your service key a good name, so
you know that it's being used by an external app when you come back
and see it a year from now
I have created wcf service and added its refernece into web application project.
Have added as below way: 1. generated proxy and config file using - svcutil command and added proxy file into web application project and merged configuraiton file.
Now, I have added some new methodsinto the wcf service , do i have to use - SVCUTIL command on each time or it should work automatically.... for now, i need to generate proxy file each time.. please suggest some best way.
NOTE: service instance available into ASP.NET web applicaiton (client) but unable to get when use client as - MVC applicatoion. please suggest.

In the Web Application, open the Service References folder.
Right click on the Service you want to update.
Select Update.

I found the answer, when add service reference (for MVC application) >>> click at 'Advance' button >>> uncheck the "reuse object....." option and then add it.
Then, service client reference is available and it works.

I am using Biztalk UDDI V3 (stand-alone install) on a windows 2008. I have configured all services (web, database and subscription):
I successfully published a couple of services
I successfully accessed and retrieved service information from my .net console application.
My issue at this point is with the subscription service. I tried to subscribe to one of the published services only to find out that I need to create my own listener.
I followed the steps listed here. Please take a look at the section entitled "Building subscription alerts for service changes". I am confused as to what the WCF service I create is supposed to look like. The instructions state the following:
Now we create a new WCF Service project and reference this existing service library. After making sure the .svc file points to our referenced library object, and adding a valid endpoint configuration file, view our service in the web browser to ensure that it's up and running.
I find this section confusing. Not sure what public methods would the WCF service expose(if any at all) or how to expose the functionality within the service library that I just referenced from within my WCF project.
Of course, if you know of a different way to achieve what I am trying to accomplish, that also would be much appreciated.

This may help. I actually just wrote a complete port for Apache jUDDI's client library using .NET C#. One of the use cases is actually what you are attempting to do. Here's the rough approach used.
Generate the code from wsdl (using wsdl.exe, because svcutil doesn't like the UDDI wsdls)
Alter the interface code to have WCF bindings for the Subscription Listener class
Create an implementation of the subscription listener and handle the callbacks
Fire up the implementation using WCF's embedded service
Register your sub listener endpoint with UDDI (using the correct annotations per the spec)
Setup the subscription using your sub listener's binding template
Wait for callbacks

I have a Managed Discovery Service hosted with a known URI. I have a discoverable service that when it starts, it announces itself using an AnnouncementEndpoint added to the ServiceDiscoveryBehavior of the service.
The specific use case I would like to solve is the following:
Managed Discovery service starts.
A discoverable service starts and announces itself to the Managed Discovery service.
The Managed Discovery service is restarted (for any various possible reasons).
How then does the discoverable service refresh itself (re-announce) to the Managed Discovery service?
I know the Managed Discovery service can persist endpoints and restore them upon start but I want everything to be dynamic and self repairing so that there's no chance of stale endpoint information.
An alternative use case would be:
An existing discoverable service is running.
A new Managed Discovery service is brought online.
How do we force or invoke the same Announcement service contract call to the new Managed Discovery service?
I hope this is enough information about what I want to accomplish.
I found the answer myself. In the scenario where you need to control announcements outside of the ServiceDiscoveryBehavior , you would use the AnnouncementClient class.

Hi I'm trying out File-less Activation with an silverlight solution, and when I choose add service reference it wont show up, I can browse the service with success in my web browser.
It won't automatically show up, vs.net uses the svc file to locate the service.
I need to do as Ladislav said, type the address into the vs.net service reference manually.
