I deployed 5 applications to my Mule server in mule management console. Among the 5 application one application status was suddenly changed into yellow remaining 4 application where in green status and running successfully.
I redeployed that particular application was turned into yellow but it doesn't change into green. So I restarted the server once, after that I couldn't find that application under "Server" tab which was shown in yellow status. I also can't find the application in server folder under $MULE_HOME/apps directory.
Is it possible for me to bring back the application.

The reason for the yellow status is some dependency file/function was missing in that particular application.
Currently, I couldn't find a solution to bring back the deleted application in server/MMC hence I redeployed the application in server once again.

I'm using Visual Studio 2022 with the React template on .NET (core) 6.
When I press f5 to start debugging, it starts a command prompt to start the development proxy server, fires up my deafult browser (chrome), and everything seems to work OK.
However, about every 2 minutes after, regardless of whether I have touched VS or the app, it then starts another copy of the development server, which then gets stuck with a prompt saying Something is already running on port 3000. Left to its own devices it just keeps starting more.
This doesn't stop the previous one working but it's frustrating to have all these windows appearing, especially as they steal focus when prompting with the "port in use".
Something that I suspect is related is a message appearing in the debug output around every 8 seconds saying "Microsoft.AspNetCore.SpaProxy.SpaProxyMiddleware: Information: SPA proxy is not ready. Returning temporary landing page." However as noted above the SPA proxy certainly seems to be running OK.
Has anyone got any ideas what might be happening or any workaround for this?
OK I managed to figure this out by creating another blank project and comparing them.
The port that the development server will listen on is stored in a file called ClientApp\.env.development; the port that visual studio expects it to listen on is in the .csproj file under PropertyGroup/SpaProxyServerUrl. If there is a mismatch you will get this behaviour because VS thinks the server isn't running and keeps on trying to start it.
In my case I had added the .env.development file to the version control ignore list thinking it wasn't important. This was causing the dev server to listen on the default port 3000.
As per the link, Mule Anypoint Studio application launcher now supports launching multiple applications and it works. I could not find how to stop individual application if multiple are deployed?

You can't. Studio's console refers to the JVM instance running the attached Mule distribution, not to each individual deployed app on that instance. However, if you modify any app config file, that app will be redeployed.
On the other hand, reviewing the log you can see that each app is deployed independently from <workspace>/.mule/apps/<app-name>.zip. After its deployment, a file named <workspace>/.mule/apps/<app-name>-anchor.txt will be created, if you remove that file the app will be undeployed.

When looking at the contents of Version 6.1.0 Fix Pack 1, it doesn't appear to list PI06519 as one of it's constituents, yet when applying the fix pack in a bid to address the slow start up issue, it appears to fix the problem.
Is this supposed to be the definitive list of the contents of the fix pack and is simply an oversight, or should I be looking somewhere else for the full contents of it?
There is some problem with listing this APAR in the list of fixes which has yet to be resolved.

I have created a VB NET application that is installed with a installer project (MSI). Installer works perfectly, app functions as designed.
On a Windows 2008 Server R2 (Standard), the first time I log in the application starts with the wrong icon/task bar group. It starts with the IBM Tivoli command line icon or GUI icon with those options in the group.
After I close my application and open it a second time, I have the correct icon and taskbar group.
If I log into the box and start a different application, then my application, I get the correct icon/group.
Things I have tried...
Uninstalling/reinstalling multiple times
Confirmed my application is advertised
Deleted the icon cache for my profile
More information (from continued trouble-shooting)...
If I set taskbar buttons to "Never Combine" I get the correct icon for my app, but not the correct group options (right click).
If I pin the IBM Tivoli command line to the taskbar, this problem goes away. My app starts with the correct icon/group every time.
If I pin my app to the taskbar, the problem also is resolved every time.
So this problem is only occuring when neither app is pinned to the taskbar.
Another update...
This issue occurs in multiple environments (same server configuration).
This issue does not occur with a user account that did not perform the install. Only the installing account gets the behavior.

This had nothing to do with my application or IBM Tivoli, it is a bug in certain versions of Windows...

This KB hung up the box on restart, but once I hard cycled it, the problem was resolved.
I have built an application that connects to the exchange server and does some scanning tasks on the incoming mail.
Application has a form where i can start and stop scanning,give in an interval, do some other configuration, and a notificationicon in the taskbar to show hide,end and so on..
The problem is that I would like the application to start as a service, because now a user has to log in first on the server before it starts working.
I tried some tools like RunAsService, i had a service, but obviously it didn't run the application.
Of course i understeand now that when the application will run as a service, scanning will be the only thing that will happen, no forms and no notification icons.
However i do not know where to start, should i extract the scanning logic from my configuration as a separate application? What application type should it become then ?
You have two easy options.
First one just create a new Windows Service Project from your New Project button in the Visual Studio, and then just program your app.
Second one, just create a service from the service management window in your computer and add the executable file of your program. It will start running as a service (with visible windows and everything as you coded it).
