Error loading Seaside 3.1 onto latest Pharo 3.0 image - smalltalk

The error I get is in the image below. This is with a fresh, latest Pharo 3.0 image hosted at PharoCloud.
Edit: when I close out of the error and try to run the commands again, I get the following error:

Including the sources file fixed it. Yay!

Blender Screencast Keys Error when Enabling

When I install the latest version of Screencast Keys 3.0 from GitHub, and install the add-on, everything appears to be working fine. Screencast key tab appears.
When I enable I get the following error message, and I can see no fix.
You need to get the latest release Screencast Keys 3.5
Download here: https://github.com/nutti/Screencast-Keys/releases
Remove the already installed screencast, and install the new version.

Ryu OF version error

I'm trying to integrate the REST API to a simple switch based on the example in the Ryu book, here: chapter 4 here
now when I run my code I get an error stating the OF version i'm using isn't supported and breaks at the event EventOFPHello. Even though I explicitly set the OF version to 1.3 as required as well as make sure the ports on mininet and ryu are matching!
am I missing something ?
Here's a screenshot of the error message I'm getting
Ok, I'm not entirely sure if this was causing the problem, but I managed to get it working by updating openvswitch from 1.1 to a newer version (2.3.0)

Forced to install GDAL 1.11 framework by package for QGIS, and failing

To install QGIS on my MacBook Pro I need to install the gdal framework; however, the 1.11 framework package needed for QGIS is an empty file at kyngchaos. I tried installing GDAL 1.10 complete, but QGIS is requiring 1.11. I have Mavericks. I've installed each individual package: UnixImageIO, PROJ, GEOS, SQLite2, numpy, rgdal, and on... Now when I run the GDAL 1.11 framework install, everything seems to run until the last page, where an "Install Fail" page shows up. When I try to view the error, I'm taken out of the installer.
After some googling, I tried installing using homebrew. (brew install gdal)... I got a little further, but it tells me to "brew link libpng libtiff" -- and when I run that command, I get:
Linking /usr/local/Cellar/libpng/1.5.14... Warning: Could not link libpng. Unlinking...
Error: Could not symlink file: /usr/local/Cellar/libpng/1.5.14/share/man/man3/libpngpf.3
/usr/local/share/man/man3 is not writable. You should change its permissions.
After some more searching, it seems I could change permissions from usr/local to me, but I'm not sure how to (exactly) and don't want to mess anything up. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and my apologies if I'm missing something painfully obvious! I'm a novice at the programming end of things, so am just kind of pushing through everything like a bull in a china shop.
UPDATE:
Okay, I found the answer, even though it didn't seem to be working initially--
I ran the following commands from the GDAL help documentation:
export PATH=/Library/Frameworks/GDAL.framework/Programs:$PATH
sudo ln -sfh [ver] /Library/Frameworks/GDAL.framework/Versions/Current
in Terminal, and the framework was updated. If I run the GDAL 1.11 installer it still shows up as a failed installation, BUT QGIS recognizes 1.11 as the installed, so that's great.
(I just needed to install matplotlib in addition, and QGIS was installed successfully.)
It seems that the GDAL Complete framework was just updated 3 days ago, so it should be a temporary error until they realize the package is empty.

MonoDevelop -- GTK Designer just shows a blank square?

I am having problems getting the GTK designer to work with MonoDevelop. I tried 2.4 on Arch Linux and it gave this problem. Then I tried 2.2 on OpenBSD and it gives the exact same problem. Both machines are 64bit.
Instead of having a window to drag things on I just have a blank square:
alt text http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/4766/monodevelop.png
The tutorials I've seen look similar to this though:
alt text http://monodevelop.com/#api/deki/files/142/=Stetic_Tutorial_06.jpg?size=bestfit&width=700&height=425
So what gives? With my blank square I can't drag anything onto it, not a VBox or other container even. It will not react to anything.
Am I missing some sort of GTK# configuration or what? I find it highly improbable that both OSs' packages I tried are broken. Also, I've attached a (huge) bounty to this because this is a pretty big issue for me.
The console output from the starting of Mono and including me trying to drag an element onto the gray box is here
Update
Ok, so I've finally gotten a bit closer to solving the mystery. I use Fluxbox as my window manager usually. Well I tried using both KDE and Gnome-Session and both of them cause MonoDevelop to work properly(though still missing the window border, you could at least drag components onto it). Now my question is what makes Fluxbox not work for it?
I have the same problem in openSUSE 11.3 x64 KDE using Mono JIT compiler version 2.6.7 (tarball Wed Jul 14 18:00:23 UTC 2010) downloaded from here
type -a monodevelop returns:
monodevelop is /usr/bin/monodevelop
monodevelop is /usr/bin/X11/monodevelop
Running monodevelop from terminal gives the following output
1)
WARNING: Cannot find Mozilla directory
containing libgtkembedmoz.so. Some
Addins may not be able to function.
Please set MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME to your
Mozilla directory.
This can be solved by adding an environment variable in your .bashrc file from your home directory.
export MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME='/path/to/libgtkembedmoz.so/directory/'
To find if that library exists on your systems use:
sudo find / -name libgtkembedmoz.so
-print
(from this bug report this library is contain in the Mozilla's XUL Runner package, but in newer versions I don't know if it's still there, I had to use libgtkembedmoz.so provided by Slickedit which was installed in /opt/slickedit/bin/mozilla/)
2)

I get the exact same error using Monodevelop 2.4, and I think this could be either from a broken GTK# installation or from a bug in Monodevelop,
Your result is the same as mine, see here. I suggest compiling MonoDevelop from Github and/or using a newer version of gtk-sharp/gdk-sharp
This part
ERROR [2010-07-29 20:22:37Z]: GdkPixbuf-Critical: gdk_pixbuf_composite: assertion `dest_x >= 0 && dest_x + dest_width <= dest->width' failed
appears in GTK and GDK crashes,
If this does not resolve the problem submitting a bug report is the next option. Although this is somehow strange, since I managed to complete the same tutorial using Kubuntu 10.04 LTS 64 bit a few weeks ago.
Uh, that is the designer. If the toolbox didn't show up, go to View->Pads->Toolbox to bring it up.
Note that this Gtk, you can't just drop a button or textbox on the design surface. You have to drop a container control first, and then can place buttons and such inside the container.
set global gtk theme to default
check all bindings depends
try start monodevelop from console and post output on pastebin
"Now my question is what makes Fluxbox not work for it? " remember the GTK protect was made for GNOME project, all the libraries are made to work on that Desktop. so need to see all the dependencies to run it property

Adobe Air 1.5.2 and Flash Builder

Recently I'm working on some air stuff, and I am using Flash Builder and latest Nightly build SDK in order to compile my application ( I even used stable version before this stage ), but when ever I export the final air file from the Flash Builder, the air file giving me this error message :
The application could not be installed because the AIR file is damaged. Try obtaining a new AIR file from the application author.
I wounder what's wrong about my file?! I even changed the namespace to other versions like 1.5.1 and 1.5 but none of them will do the trick! Any one has any idea?!
If you try logging the application install it might give you more info and troubleshooting information - http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/403/kb403123.html
