How to create dropdownlist with static and dynamic values in Asp.net MVC with a divider between them - asp.net-mvc-4

I want to create a dropdownlist which have three static values: Select All, Text Only, Numeric only. After that I like to add a line with some padding (just to separate these options) and then add some dynamic options.
I am not sure how to do this, Can some body please help?
So far I have created a List<SelectListItem> in my view model, and populated the static values from BLL. But I am not sure how to add a divider line in the middle now, and append some dynamic options after that.
Thanks

The normal select tag will not work like that, you will have to create custom dropdown using spans or divs.
See some examples here:

Click on first element contained in a div

I have a div that contains a set of dynamic elements. I want to click on the first search result.
I want to click on the first element contains in
I tried using creating a custom xPath like so but it didn't work. Any ideas here?
//div[1][contains(text(), 'listing')]
First of all It would've helped if you had provided more information.
best will be using pseudo-child like div.firstChild or if the elements are generated dynamically you can add a class and use document.querySelectorAll(".class") which will give you an array of elements that had the class.
You can use array[0] to use click on the first element.
For anyone coming across this thread here is the solution
const listings = await page.$x('//*[contains(#id,"listing_")]')

mvc4 jquery autocomplete items showing up as asterisks instead of readable data

I got my autocomplete stuff working well enough to see that it's returning some data when I type in a field--but the data shown in the dropdown below the textbox is just a vertical column of asterisks or list item bullets. (I can't really tell what they are.)
When I query the web service directly in the browser, it returns a Json array as expected which looks like this where, for example ?term=chi (I've added some line breaks for readability)
[
{"Name":"Chihuahua"},
{"Name":"Chinese Crested"},
{"Name":"Chinese Shar-Pei"},
{"Name":"Japanese Chin"},
{"Name":"Schipperke"}
]
My JavaScript looks like this:
$(function() {
$("#Breed").autocomplete({
source: "#Url.Action("BreedList", "Patient")"
});
});
like I say, my textbox in question (#Breed) does respond sort of like an autocomplete box, but the dropdown data is weird. Any ideas?
Although I did have a CSS bundling problem (somehow I had omitted the jquery ui css from my bundle), a bigger issue was that the Json returned by my service needed a lower case "value" property for each item. I was using the column name as cased on my Linq query. The tip that pointed me in the right direction on this came from the answer here: jQueryUI autoComplete returns back empty list

How to specify page size in dynamically in yii view?

How to specify page size in dynamically in yii view?(not a grid view)

I dont want the page navigation after search it confusing users..
my controller code
$criteria=new CDbCriteria();
$count=CustomerPayments::model()->count($criteria);
$pages=new CPagination($count);
// results per page
$pages->pageSize=10;
$pages->applyLimit($criteria);
$paymnt_details=CustomerPayments::model()->findAll($criteria);
$this->render('renewal',array('paymnt_details'=>$paymnt_details,'report'=>$report,'branch'=>$branch,'model'=>$model,'pages' => $pages,));
}
my view

I'm assuming you want the entire list of search result be shown on a single page, no-matter how long it is?
If so, this is quite easy to achive.
As I can see in your code, you are now defining your pageSize to have a size of 10. You can update it to be dynamically be doing this:
$pages->pageSize = $count;
To remove the pagesizes you can change the css of your view file, but for that we would need your view file to see how you defined it.

How to create Struts Drop down List?

I m new to struts.
I Want to add drop down in web page.That drop down should contain four values. The default and first value will be (Select).
I want to persist the selected value, when that form is opened again and while submitting, if user doesn't select any value from drop down (meaning the default value is present) I want to give an alert to the user and then not to allow a submit until till the user selects an option from the dropdown.
There is one action.java, form.java, javascript file and jsp file. In action.java, I m suppose to use ArrayList to hold different drop down values. How this can be done. please help me.
<s:select list="#{'':'Select', 'key1':'Value 1', 'key2':'Value 2'}" key="selectedValue"></s:select>
or you have a list object(id, value)
<s:select key="selectedValue" list="yourlists" headerKey="" headerValue="Select" listKey="id" listValue="value"/>
Firstly, you need to show your code here. If you are interested in tutorials then I'd suggest - VaanNila, a great place to learn struts framework. (Here is a link of select tag.)

How to create sample data collection from my own class in expression blend 4?

Can anyone help me? it seems no way to do this in blend 4
With Blend 4 open, go to Data tab.. hit the second icon from right("Create sample data").. select "Create sample data from class.." and select your class. This will generate sample data source. You can bind your controls to this data source to see the controls filled with sample in Blend designer. HTH.
The method I'm using now - although really less than perfect - is by creating a dummy class which contains a list of items of the original class. I.e.:
class We_Want_Items_Of {}
class Dummy_Class { List<We_Want_Items_Of> Test {get;set;}}
Then you can create a sample datum for the Dummy_Class, which will contain a list of We_Want_Items_Of's. You can then use that list as a data source for, for instance, a ListBox.
