My requirement is to copy rows from sheet3 having font color black to sheet1.I have a range of rows selected from sheet3 in a workbook. I want to copy this and paste in sheet1.Selection part is ok, but Error (Application defined or object defined ) in copy statement.

Option Explicit forces you to declare ALL the variables you use.
CopyRnge.Copy didn't exist when you ran the program, so Excel showed a run-time error.
Common errors like these can be avoided by turning on Option Explicit by default.

The code as is seems correct. Make sure that "FindReplace" worksheet is in ThisWorkbook.
Also, you can try to get "FindReplace" worksheet by CodeName instead of by the name of the sheet. The advantage is that if the user changes the name of the worksheet, the CodeName will remain the same and you won't need to update your code to the new worksheet name.

I need a code to copy a range of cells (H21:H38) from my source worksheet (Acct Total) to a corresponding column on my target worksheet (COS% Tracking) based on matching headers. But the hiccup I have is that the header is in cell A6 on my source worksheet (Acct Total). I've researched it a bit and I've found this code that worked for someone else:

So my issue is that I don't know where to begin to edit this code to work like I need. This code worked by using the header above the range of cells but that won't do in my case. I'll attach pictures so that hopefully I'm not too vague.

Look at the following construct as a starting point for a different way to solve the same problem. There are descriptive variables so you have an idea of what is happening.
Edit: As the target sheet row 3 is locked, code has been amended to use Match function to return column number where string is found (if found).
Essentially:
Set your source and target worksheets.

I was able to copy the rows to another workbook by using predefined ranges. However, I wanted to make sure that it only needs to copy those with values. I've been formulating this code but it returns an error -1004

You could iterate the individual cells and copy only those which have a value:

Both Workbooks.Open and Worksheets.Add return references to the opened and added objects, which you can use to directly access and modify them - and in your case, to paste data.

I'm new to VBA as was trying to write a macro that finds duplicates in different columns from a worksheet. I found the answer here helpful. However this solved it only for one column. So to add a few more columns I altered the code as follows

I can run your code locally in Excel 2010 without any errors, so not sure exactly what the problem is.
Try to change the type of rngCell1 from Variant to Range and see if it makes any difference.
As a side note, vVal has not been Dimed. It will only complain if you add Option Explicit at the top of your module, so it shouldn't matter here.
