Try to build openssl in xcode5 shows "libcrypto.a" and libssl.a" files missing error.
There's an example of setting include and library paths using Xcode at User Guide for the OpenSSL FIPS Object Module v2.0, Appendix E-2. On page 130, it shows you how to set the paths for OpenSSL under iOS (ALWAYS_SEARCH_USER_PATHS, USER_HEADER_SEARCH_PATHS, OTHER_LDFLAGS, etc). Setting paths applies to native and cross-compiled - there's no difference. You can also ignore that its written for the FIPS module - again, there's no difference.
If you have more information, then add it to your question. Otherwise, the folks on Stack Overflow will be taking stabs in the dark.

I am trying to add Places SDK for android.
I am following the following documentation
https://developers.google.com/places/android-sdk/start and
https://developers.google.com/places/android-sdk/client-migration
Unfortunately i am not able to add dependency "implementation 'com.google.android.libraries.places:places:2.2.0'"
I have gone through following links. But no use. Please help me with this.
Failed to resolve: com.google.android.libraries.places:1.0.0:
Google's new Places Library ( implementation 'com.google.android.libraries.places:1.0.0') not resolving
Finally i found solution to my issue.
I solved it by installing the compatibility library.
Followed this. https://developers.google.com/places/android-sdk/client-migration
Following two steps resolved my issue.
Copy the contents of places_compat_compatify.sh, and save as a file to your local computer.
Use the following command to run the compatibility script
./places_compat_compatify.sh 2.1.0
After this, I could run my project successfully and could Place API.
Thanks
I followed the instruction of
https://dev.twitter.com/twitterkit/ios/installation
Install Twitter Kit Manually (Objective C)
Did all the steps:
Downloaded and unzip Twitter Kit.
Draged contents to the root of your project in Xcode, and made sure ‘Copy items if needed’ is checked
Initialized the kit inside AppDelegate (with valid key and secret as described)
Modified Info.Plist entries as described
=> Trying to compile it gives me an 'TwitterKit/TwitterKit.h' file not found error:
(I tried it several times...)
Some step(s) seam(s) to be missing?
Thanks for inputs on that.
If you have followed all the instructions, try to do each of the following before trying to build again, as it worked for me once.
Clean the Project, Cmd + Shift + K
Restart Xcode
Restart Computer
If nothing works, then install Twitter Kit through Cocoapods, as it does a clean installation for your frameworks.
Since I couldn't edit the original question I add my latest state.
after following instructions of neuhaus and Sau93 I ran into new issues.
Steps 1-5:
<= Here is where I stack know ?
I have the latest Xcode 7 and iOS 9 SDK installed on my El Caption. I just get an issue about the Code Signing Resource Rules Path:
If I specify the CODE_SIGN_RESOURCE_RULES_PATH=$(SDKROOT)/ResourceRules.plist then I can not upload the IPA to iTunesConnect because:
ERROR ITMS-90339: "This bundle is invalid. The Info.plist contains an invalid key 'CFBundleResourceSpecification' in bundle
However, if I removed this CODE_SIGN_RESOURCE_RULES_PATH the xcrun PackageApplication will fail as:
/var/folders/9v/_4lr188x5h5019b4bsq2_fyr0000gn/T/ir4fp619hu/Payload/MyApp.app/ResourceRules.plist: cannot read resources
Any walk around?
The issue is that xcrun uses the resource path internally in its script.
The work around to is go and directly edit the script ourselves. I had the same issue and the solution i posted here worked for me. Thought it'd help you as well.
After thorough browsing I decided to post here as I could not find a working prompt on the problem.
I installed CouchDB and Couchapp (in version 1.0.0, freshest one on Github) on Win8 machine and when I try to run couchapp generate app contacts I get:
2014-11-21 22:01:00 [ERROR] couchapp error: Can't create a CouchApp in C:\Users\
Michal\Desktop\contacts: default template not found.
I have not so far dug deeper into the Couchapp code to see if I can fix it. Fixes applied by Couchapp creator, Benoit, don't work for me.
All advice/constructive criticism much appreciated.
OK, I got it working - all that was needed was to include an environment variable for couchapp.exe. So, if you are installing a standalone version of Couchapp from the downloads section ( https://github.com/downloads/couchapp/couchapp/couchapp-1.0.0-win.zip, e.g. ) you NEED TO MAKE SURE that you first of all execute the installer and then point you environment variables Path to it, that's all. Hope it helps.
I've written a sample c file which includes Xm/Xm.h. When compile it, I have the following error, "fatal error: Xm/Xm.h: No such file or directory"
I'm using AIX 7.1. What package do I need to install to fix this problem and where can I find it? I was not able to find anything online regarding this issue. Thank you.
I just got the same error message.
You need to install (with installp on Aix):
either openmotif (and openmotif-dev)
or lesstif2-dev (smaller then openmotif, and can be enough)
(as mentioned in this answer)
