IBM Worklight 6.1: Unable to install in Windows 7 - ibm-mobilefirst

I have installed eclipse juno 4.2.2 but there is a problem in installing worklight

Make sure you are using one of these supported versions of Eclipse (for Worklight):
Eclipse Java EE 4.2.2 ("Juno" SR2)
Eclipse Java EE 4.3.1 ("Kepler" SR1)
I have used Eclipse Java EE 4.2.2 in Windows 7 as well, and installed Worklight via the Eclipse Marketplace (Help > Eclipse Marketplace > search for "worklight"). The installation finished successfully.
You either have a network issue, or the service was just temporary unavailable. Everything seems to be working OK now. In other words - try again.

Installing Glassfish tools in eclipse luna

Im trying to install Glassfish tools in eclise Luna but I keep getting this error message:
Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
Software being installed: GlassFish Tools 7.3.3.201412231459 (oracle.eclipse.tools.glassfish.feature.group 7.3.3.201412231459)
Missing requirement: GlassFish Tools 7.3.3.201412231459 (oracle.eclipse.tools.glassfish.feature.group 7.3.3.201412231459) requires 'org.eclipse.sapphire.feature.group [8.1.0,8.2.0)' but it could not be found
What should I do? Thanks.
It looks like they somehow messed up the plugin dependencies while packaging the plugin version which is currently referenced by the .
To fix it you have to install an slightly older version of the Glassfish Tools manually. To do this in Eclipse click on Help -> Install new software and put the following URL in the upper input field:
http://download.oracle.com/otn_software/oepe/12.1.3.1/luna/repository
Then click enter, after it has fetched the installable packages, choose the Glassfish Tools package and the Oracle Java EE Tools package (both should be version 7.2.0.xxx) and install. The installation can take a while because the oracle repository site is often slow.

Go with Eclipse Luna + RedHat JBoss WildFly 8.2, which is working just fine.

IBM Worklight Failing to start

Configuration: Eclipse (Juno) 4.2.2
IBM Worklight version: 6.2.0.01
Java version:
java version "1.7.0_71"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_71-b14)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.71-b01, mixed mode)
JDK: jdk1.7.0_71.jdk
Java Compiler: 1.7
My worklight studio was previously working and suddenly stops working after I had to force quit my eclipse. Even after reinstallation of the plugins, the error still recurs.
Here's a screenshot of the initial error log before 'Worklight server failed to start' and 'Failed to deploy application in the worklight server'. Any help to fix this issue will be deeply appreciated. Worklight studio issues like this is starting to get frustrating.
I uninstalled java from my mac. Reinstalled Java (JDK & JRE), new Eclipse (Juno 4.2.2) -> Then installed IBM Worklight Studio plugin. Figured it was the problem with Java as it was throwing the java exception 'unable to read the manifest'. Probably there was some issue after updating to Yosemite.
I had the same problem. You need to set correct IP for Worklight server. It doesn't work with "localhost" or "*".
It looks Java EE got corrupted somehow,
So as suggested the best approach would be to use a fresh Eclipse instance with a new plug-in installation and a new workspace as well. This way it makes sure everything is fresh and new.

This sounds like a network timeout as installations from the Eclipse Marketplace seem to work fine now.
Since you're trying to install 6.1, I suggest that you'll simply try again with the latest version, available to download from here: IBM Worklight - Where to find previous releases

I've tried both the marketplace method and installing from a local archive produces the same error. Sounds like a dependency issue but I'm not clever enough to workout what I'm missing.
Worklight 6.0 supports ONLY Eclipse for Jave EE Developers 4.2.2 ("Juno" SR2) or Eclipse Classic 4.2.2 ("Juno" SR2).
Worklight 6.0 will not work on prior versions of Eclipse.
Worklight 6.0 will not work on Eclipse 4.3 "Kepler" - there is no support for it, yet.
After you installed Worklight on 4.2.2 if it does not show up inside of eclipse, try the following
run eclipse withe the -clean option from the command line/terminal
ex.
$ ./eclipse -clean
then restart eclipse as normal, YMMV but it seem to do the trick for most folks with this problem.
This issue is due to corporate proxy.
Main requirement is it supports ONLY Eclipse for Jave EE Developers 4.2.2 ("Juno" SR2) or Eclipse Classic 4.2.2 ("Juno" SR2).
Apart from this you have to do following things to make it work
Window-->Preferences-->General-->Network connection
In drop down list changes Active Provider to Manual and in http/https put address and port number of your proxy.
Worklight 6.1 was released on the 6th of December, and now Kepler is supported.

Cannot see the Glassfish adapter after installing plugin in Eclipse

I've installed Glassfish 3.1.1 and Eclipse Indigo onto a Win 7 machine but cannot add the Glassfish server via Eclipse's Servers view.
Oracle Glassfish Server Tools 1.8 is also installed but despite this there is no Glassifish entry in the list of avilable server adaptors.
I will continue to scour the web for a way around this but if anyone can advise I'd be grateful.
Thanks
You need to install the JavaEE development edition of Eclipse, and in that go to the Eclipse Marketplace where you can find and install the Glassfish adapter.
I had to restart eclipse two times before it appeared. This seems like a bug to me but I'm new in the Eclipse world
