I have installed Hue-2.5.0 in pseudo mode and also i am able to view the UI.
Beeswax(hive UI), sqoop, oozie editor everything are working efficiently but i dont know why my pig scripts are not working, UI is non resrponsiv & it is not showing any errors or exceptions.
i have checked logs also and found no issue
what could be the issue???
thanks in advance.
You should look at http://hue_host:8888/logs, or right click and 'inspect element' and look for error in the Chrome console. You can also share a screenshot of what happens when you clicked 'submit. Feel free to comment on the hue-user list too.

I am brand new to odoo, just installed version 9 and made a module 'aidentest' using
.>>python odoo.py scaffold aidentest addons
That created the aidentest module in the addons folder. Uncommented everything in the autogenerated files
but when I went to check out my 'Hello World' page at
http://localhost:8069/aidentest/aidentest
I got a 404 not found
So I went to apps to try and load my module, but I could not find it.
Does anyone know what I need to do on Odoo 9 to load up and start coding my custom module?
Briefly: You have to activate developer mode by going to Top right menu>about>activate developer mode
I had basically given up, and was mindlessly clicking about when I hit the 'About' link on the generic-whiteguy dropdown. I had to actually stop thinking before I was able to locate the completely senseless place where they put the thing I need.
The About modal window popped up, and in it was an activate the developer mode button
Some things changed immediately, but I still couldn't find my custom module.
Then I walked away, came back and when I returned I had some auto-generated emails (new things had loaded - slowly). Did this mean that maybe my module had also become accessible? I checked, and sure enough, there it was.
ZERO DOCUMENTATION about this
Please check the config file.Then send the last error it has.
I'm loving IntelliJ because I also work with MySQL and the integration into one UI is great. Seems that IntelliJ works nicely with ColdFusion as well. I'm just hoping to successfully use MXUnit, but I seem to be getting an error upon testing. My main goal is just being able to display the output directly in IntelliJ instead of outputting in a browser.
My test site path: /Applications/ColdFusion11/cfusion/wwwroot/Test/test.cfc
Error http://localhost/mxunit-launcher.cfc?method=executeTestCase&componentName=test
Seems like I have to add in a mapping, maybe in CF Admin, because the path and web path don't match but I haven't done that before if that's the case. Here's a screenshot of input in IntelliJ, and the output at the bottom of the screenshot when running the debugger:
Thanks for any feedback on what I might be missing.
I just started testing with Karma. When i specify a browser in the config-file it basically just opens a window that tells me that the test is idle or running, nothing more and nothing less. That doesn't make sense to me, why would i need a browser for that? Okay i get it you need to debug but thats another page where you can debug isn't it?
Although this site is reloading when Karma is doing something, the other , way more usefull, karma-html-reporter output stays like it is until i reload it manually.
Is there any way to either
(A) Show the test ouput in a html-reporter like fashion on the connected-page?
or
(B) Connect the html-reporter-page to the socket and live-reload it?
I know i can just use the console, but isn't it nice to have some order and styling in all the chaos?
Using LR 6.1.0-ce-ga1 and ICEfaces 3.2.0. Have this code in my xhtml:
<ace:panel>
<ace:fileEntry
required="true"
requiredMessage="You may not save if you have not selected a file."
fileEntryListener="#{profileBean.listener}"
maxFileCount="1"
maxFileCountMessage="Select one file, please."
useSessionSubdir="true"
immediate="true"
/>
</ace:panel>
First, the immediate doesn't work. listener in my bean never gets called. But that's maybe not as important as the following.
I have h:commandButton on the form. When I click it, I see what looks like the beginning of a progress bar drawn like it's going to display file upload progress. This is immediately covered by the following:
This box is often associated with ICEfaces push problems (I've been told by ICEfaces). I added icepush.jar to WEB-INF/lib, but it didn't help. What I'd prefer is not to have the alleged progress bar try to render at all.
So, would appreciate anyone's help in making this file upload work.
P.S., I've tried Tomahawk and plain Apache JSF 2.0, also. I'd like to get the ICEfaces version working, but I'm kind of open to any working solution, given my (Servlet 2.5-based) environment.
Thanks.
I would recommend that you look at the source code for the icefaces3-portlet demo, as it shows how to upload a file with ace:fileEntry in a portlet environment.
[error] Element //div[#id='divProjects']/table/tbody/tr/td[6]/i not found
i tried to use xpather,firebug inorder to find the id's and values of the object.But,it is not working for me.
please help me to solve my issue.
You can share the IDE script, it'll make easy to resolve the issue. You have to verify that you have got to the element when you are trying to perform any action on it.
Your xpath needs to be more relative. One thing you can try is to change the xpath to xpath:relative while recording in IDE. You can find this option on clicking on the dropdown
