I'm using Dropbox and I've just tried to share folder with my PHPStorm project to another team mate by Invite to folder option. And after them PHPStorm writes me this: Could not save project!: Unable to save project files. Please ensure project files are writable and you have permissions to modify them.
And I cannot find how to get out of this.
Have you some experience about this?

I cloned the my repo from github using Idea and i have modified some sources files and push them into git. But when i modify a file in another folder inside of the project, idea don't detect the change and this file is important for the project.
My project structure folder is something like:
-Project_main_folder/
----Game/
--------src/
------------main.java
------------other_java_files
--------libs/
----db/
--------database.sql
And when i modify the database.sql (for example), idea dont detect it changes. How can i make it detect it and upload it to github??
Thanks c:
I have a config.txt file in my VS 2013 project. Here is its permissions for ALL APPLICATION PACKAGES :
When I get a setup.exe by compiling an InstallShield LE project inside my solution, and when I run setup.exe, I get this config.txt under Program Files with these permissions :
I want all permissions to be allowed after extracting setup.exe. How can I do that? Thanks
By default the ProgramFiles folder and all subdirectories and files have only Read and Read&Execute permissions for security purposes. So, all files which copies to this folder inherite these permissions.
To change file or folder permissions with help of InstallShield, you could refer to the approtiate documentation. Also it could be achived by launching different tools for working with permissions, like subinacl.exe, icacls.exe, etc with help of custom actions.
But, as mentioned Michael Urman in comments, it's bad idea to place config files with write access under ProgramFiles (and other system folders), because of possible security issues.
So, I also reccomend to refrain from using this logic and store these files in User profile folders.
I am fairly new to NetSuite and NetSuite scripting. My company has several dozen script files already in the NetSuite File Cabinet, under the default SuiteScripts folder. Also, I am using the SuiteCloud IDE, which is just basically Eclipse with a NetSuite plugin. This way I can download all of the scripts into a single SuiteCloud IDE project, work on them locally, and then upload them back to the server for testing.
When you create a new NetSuite project, one of the project settings is File Cabinet Folder. This defaults to a subdirectory under "SuiteScripts" with the same name as your project. For example, if your project is called "MyScripts", the default will be SuiteScripts/MyScripts. You can of course change this, but it is impossible to just specify the SuiteScripts folder alone, as I get an error saying "File Cabinet folder must have 2 segments." However, the existing scripts all live under SuiteScripts (no subdirectory). Any file that I upload to the server, whether it be a new file that I created locally or even a previously downloaded file that already exists in the File Cabinet, will end up in SuiteScripts/MyScripts. This can be hugely problematic, causing dupes and all kinds of other nastiness. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks.
Yes, NetSuite has decided to limit the uploading functionality to subfolders of SuiteScripts. If I had to guess, their intention there is to force you to place your scripting projects in their own folders so that the SuiteScripts folder itself does not get cluttered with scripts.
You can specify a subfolder of SuiteScripts with any name; it does not have to be the name of your Eclipse project. You have a couple options, depending on how you want your files to be organized in Eclipse and in the File Cabinet.
The way we typically do it is to create a single folder that will house all of our scripts, call it SuiteScripts/Projects/. In the file cabinet, we create this Projects folder under SuiteScripts. In Eclipse's NetSuite Project Settings, we map our Eclipse project to SuiteScripts/Projects. In our Eclipse project, we group related source files logically into folders, like iPad Integration or Approval Process. Then we upload to the File Cabinet, and now we have a nice folder structure of organized scripts, something like:
SuiteScripts
Projects
iPad Application
iPadScript.js
iPadRESTlet.js
Approval Process
SalesOrderApproval.js
PurchaseOrderApproval.js
We have much more detailed naming standards for our files, but you get the picture.
My recommendation is to create a new folder in your SuiteScripts folder and move all existing scripts into there using the File Cabinet's "Move" button. Then, map your SuiteCloud Project to that new folder and upload/download as needed.
I agree with the erictgrubaugh's solution and I've been following stoic software's tutorials. But steavepoll if you want to change it for only one script then you can follow these steps:
Create new SuiteCloud Project under the same folder which you are targeting
Edit into mainfest.xml file(right click->NetSuite->Add Dependency References to Manifest)
Validate Project against Account
Deploy
It worked in my case
I have accessed normal files and folders, but unable to read the target value from a shortcut file. Any idea how to read a shortcut file in WinRT?
My actual requirement is to find the most recently used/opened files in the system This info was previously available through Environment.GetFolderPath(Environment.SpecialFolder.Recent)
Thank you in advance :)
There is a file AppData\Local\recently-used.xbel which contains this information on Win8. Parsing it should be easy, but the problem will probably be to get access to this file as it isn't in the folders that can be accessed via any manifest declaration. Also the AppData folder is hidden, making it inaccessible via the FileOpenPicker.
My guess would be that this is an intentional change by Microsoft since it is no business of a sandboxed app, which documents were used by other apps. If you want to open files that were recently opened by your app, you can roll your own "recently changed" implementation. Which should be easy because you have to save their token to the FutureAccessList anyhow.
just starting at play, and I needed to see it it can be used to do my project.
But after reading some docs, I still can't find a way to put uploaded files in more then one place.
I know that there is the attachments folder, and that I can change it directory in the confs, but what I want is another attachments folder, some thing like:
If the user upload a photo it would go to /photos folder;
if the user upload a txt it would go to /docs fodler;
Thanks
--UPDATE--
I'm using Play 2.0.1
So after some more research I found this other question:
How can I change uploaded files directory in play 2.0.1?
Basically there is no more attachments path configure in this playframework version, so I need to put this manually in the control, just like the answer in that question.
