The gems i'm using are twitter-bootstrap-rails and jquery-rails.
Basically what I'm, trying to do is set the minDate on the date picker however none of the options are being accepted.
$(selector).datepicker minDate: 0
Weirdly enough when I do a .on on the datepicker 'changeDate' works.
Any ideas?
EDIT: I just figured out that jquery-ui isn't being loaded with the page. I guess this means I am using the bootstrap datepicker, which I thought needed the jqueryui library, however no matter what I did I couldn't get the site to load jqueryui?
It turns out the downloaded version of bootstra-datepicker wasn't the latest version. I got the latest version on GitHub. Gotta be careful next time!

It may appear a repeated question but it is a serious one and I found no solution for it in any related question.
I have downloaded a bootstrap theme from ShapeBootstrap website
Demo theme
I use Firefox 30. As you may see in the demo page too, the slider doesn't start automatically! however if one click on the next slide it starts running!
I did anything I read in the similar questions but nothing happened!
The order of scripts is OK
It is in the end of file
No error reported in console ...
You can view and follow the source code of the demo page. Everything is in its place. But I wonder why it has this problem even in the official website of the theme.
Please guide me what can I do.
To understand what was going wrong was difficult!
I replaced the carousal section(html) with this one from http://startbootstrap.com/templates/full-slider/
I added full-slider.css to the list of my css files and used the latest version of bootstrap script and now it works!
It's the first time that I meet such a problem with transitions.
None of them is working on Safari, although they work perfectly fine in firefox and chrome.

I used compass transition mixins, as I always do, so there really shouldn't any problem.
Do you have any idea or track to follow?
Thank you in advance for your help!
Hum, I found the source of the problem, where it absolutely wasn't expected.
This was due to the new version of livereload (2.3.27), that makes apparently different results while exporting CSS code.
I then downgraded to v.2.3.20, and everything was ok, as it has always been!
I wrote to the support of both Livereload and compass to see where the problem comes, but without any answer for now.
I think I'm missing something very, very obvious and easy, but - how do I migrate my 2.1-app to 2.2? What do I have to copy or which script do I have to run?
Just be aware that the theming has changed between version 2.1 and 2.2. In particular the Picto icons, used for buttons, have now been replaced by fonts. Unfortunately it appears that the new Picto font doesn't contain entries for all the icons that were in the previous set and I haven't yet found a way to continue to use the old icons. As a result, your new version 2.2 app may therefore look different to your version 2.1 app.
The facebook login button implemented in my website was showing the text as "undefined" instead of "Login" in firefox latest version in Windows 7. So to fix that i went to get the latest code from the Plugin page at https://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/login/.
Its showing "undefined" in the preview button also. What should be done to get it fixed?
I am ready to use the latest code given but it looks like a problem with facebook JS to me.
Sorry! I don't have enough rep to post an image :P
I reported it to fb and referenced Ravi's screenshot. Here's my bug report, if you want to subscribe -

This problem once frustrated me and i searched for the solution in many sites. I find one site to be very helpful for me as my problem is solved and solution is easy to understand. so i am sharing with you guys. just go to www.facebookloginhelp.net and get your problem solved.
I am using VS 2008. I like the feature maintainscrollpositiononpostback. It works fine with IE 8. But it does not work consistently with Firefox. Sometimes, instead the line I click on goes to the bottom of the page. The field I am trying to refresh is with a div tag with overflow set to auto. Also I have several update panels with updatemode set to conditional. This means only the panel affected should be refreshed. This is also not working in the case on Firefox.
I have searched the web for possible solutions but none of them work for me.
Most of my users use Firefox so this is a problem for me.
Thanks in advance,
Bob
scrollsaver to the rescue?
http://en.hasheminezhad.com/scrollsaver
I found this little js file a few weeks ago after implementing Post/Redirect/Get on a few of my pages. It may enable you to turn off maintain on your pages if you throw it in the master. I haven't fully tested it with ff4/5 or chrome...
Edit the Browser Capabilities file, and explicitly set it so that MaintainScrollPositionOnPostback is supported on Safari Browsers.
you can use javascript for this.. chek it out..
